My wife and I had a very nice stay about a month ago for our anniversary. It was very hot this summer in Colorado, with the lack of normal summer rains and some substantial wildfires. We decided to spend most of our trip in the city. And the rooftop pool at Jacquard was a refreshing spot to squelch the sweltering heat! Upon our check in, our room had an issue with the shower not draining properly. I contacted the front deck and they sent a maintenance worker to take care of it when we were not in the room so it was great because it wasn't a nuisance that we had to be there while they fixed it. And they were quick and efficient to get it taken care of!!! We stayed for I believe four days, and upon check out I had left my shaving bag there and I didn't notice until I was already out of state driving back home. I contacted them and they informed me that my item was found my the cleaning staff, and they mailed it to me very quickly! I was incredibly impressed by the high level of hard work and dedication of the staff of this hotel! Their level of commitment and dedication to their customers is really outstanding! Aside from that the hotel is really a nice place to stay! I highly recommend the Jacquard if you are planning a trip to Denver!!!

The Jacquard is conveniently located in the heart of Cherry Creek near all the shops and restaurants. I came here on a business trip and after this trip, I've decided this will be the hotel I stay at again when visiting in the future as well. As you step into the lobby, there is a beautiful glass fireplace, dim lighting, artwork and during the holidays, decorations. It was warm and inviting. Once up the elevator, I came to a door and needed a key card to access my floor. It felt like a great added security measure. They spared no expense to make sure every area features beautiful artwork and decor. The room was very spacious and had a great view of downtown. I was quite impressed with the closet, bed and TV. I loved the robes and slippers. I could go on and on with how many things they have done well. One thing I would change is the bathroom. It's a typical barn door style entrance, but it's made of frosted glass and there's no handle on the inside, so when I took a shower it was very slippery and hard to open. Also, while the bathroom and shower have a frosted glass door, the inside wall connecting them is clear. So, if you're sharing a room, it might be uncomfortable to shower and use the bathroom at the same time. A little more privacy would be a nice consideration.

When my cousins said they wanted to splurge on a nice hotel for our first early family Christmas celebration in Denver, we didn't mess around. The Jacquard was by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in since my sweet suite at the Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas. Not only was the room amazing but the people who worked there understand hospitality. From the valet attendant to the front desk personnel, every interaction was top notch and genuine. Nice people. Nice pillows. The best pillows. I actually took one of the six pillows and removed the pillow case so that I could take a picture of the tag. Now I'll be buying said pillows to enjoy nightly!!! The area of Cherry Creek where the hotel is located has a ton to do within walking distance. Restaurants. Bars. Shopping. People watch. Let's just say if we do early Christmas in Denver again this year, or if I go to Denver for other reasons, I know exactly where I'll be staying.

This hotel was such a disappointment. I would not recommend staying here specifically based on value. I paid $425 a night on a Wednesday night. In my opinion that is a premium price for a hotel room. A few things to know: 1. Valet is $50 per night 2. Don't expect to receive anything. Upon check in outside of a key to your room. I am accustomed to receiving a few bottles of water at the least. 3. The clean up crew will attempt to clean your room prior to the check - out time- that's rude. Ok- a few friends and I had rooms at this hotel. We attempted to check in early. I was able to get a room early, but my friend ( who has status with Marriott) was not. This was not a big deal since we did have a room to place our items. When we dropped off our luggage my friend noticed that the gummy bears in the room were open. I made sure to let the staff know that they were already open as I did not want a charge ion my bill for them. Additionally, the room was not clean. The bathroom toilet was dirty and dust was on the table lamp, and likely other places. I noticed the lamp, and did capture that in a photo. The rooms are relatively small. I also do not like the placement of outlets, or the intimate lighting throughout the room. I am not sure who the designer was, but they should have gotten a second opinion before committing. When we returned from dinner my friend was able to get a room. The problem- the room smelled like sewerage. Yes, it smelled terrible the moment you stepped foot into the room. She complained about it but was told they were sold out and could not switch her room. They only offered an apology. We advised her that she needed to request compensation for the issue. After making a request they did take some money off the cost of the room. if interested the room number was 407. This hotel just does not live up to being an autograph property. Per the Marriott website, an Autograph property is a signature experience that leaves a lasting imprint on all who stay. This hotel did NOT meet that mark. It's a strong negative for me. I can't recommend it.

Great location, in the heart of Cherry Creek. New modern clean, rooms are good size. Bed is super comfortable. They will provide feather pillows if you ask. Roof top pool and bar on the 9th floor. My only complaint is the music the play at the lobby and outside of the main entrance is never turned off during the night and you do hear it even though we were on the 8th floor with closed windows. So either bring the ear plugs or ask to be on the opposite side of the building from the main entrance.

Great staycation at the Jacquard. The room was so comfortable that we decided to stay late in bed in the morning and watch Knives Out. Because we could connect to our Netflix this was possible!! The location is perfect and we had a wonderful evening walking around cherry creek. If you haven't been, make sure you know that valet is $60 for the night. Narrative for breakfast is a must!

Although the hotel and rooftop are beautiful, the bar staff at pool need customer service training. How happy would you be if you paid $1,000+ for 2 nights and you asked for a cup of ice and were told in a sarcastic way "the bar isn't even open. I don't have ice." This young girl spoke as if she hated her job and I was asking for something out of the question. A simple reply of "I'm just opening, let me get that as soon as I'm set up." Would have been fine. Let me just remind your management there's a reason places like The Beverly Hills Hotel is top notch and goes the extra mile with guests. You'd never see that at their hotel and yes, it's the same price point. When guests are treated poorly it needs to be addressed. Other than that, Narrative is a great restaurant and you cannot beat the location. Incident: August 10, 2022 afternoon

This place has an amazing interior design but is seriously lacking in management and common sense customer experience. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and the thing is, you can build a nice place but it requires customer experience if you want it to carry a positive name. The hotel is situated in the heart of cherry creek a very affluent and beautiful area of Denver. It has the possibility to be great . Why the 2 stars? They don't stock toilet paper. Maintenance is required everywhere even in a new building. The front desk is snooty and arrogant without having a reason to be. Even if you're nice, and do things correctly your reservation will be wrong or requests ignored. I've now stayed here several times and the reason I came back is because it's a beautiful location and the hotel itself has potential to be incredible. Yet again though; on this most recent stay much of the same issues if my last visit. Blinds are broken, lighting defective, no towels or toilet paper in the bathroom when this is supposedly a room that's ready. I was given an incorrect room, woken up at 7am to slamming on our door even though I had do not disturb clearly posted and the entire experience thus far has just been miss after miss. This place needs restoration of customer experience, increased accountability and restructuring of departments and SOP's because it's a mess.

Books on night stand are complimentary for you to take home. (Yes, this was on purpose)

From…read morespending hours truly getting to know us, to having all the right connections, to gracefully navigating a weather pivot on our wedding day, Alex surpassed every expectation. My husband and I knew we wanted to create a unique, beautiful wedding experience that we, our family and friends would cherish and remember. We'd wanted elements of a traditional wedding weekend but one that felt fun and not like every other wedding we'd been to. We also knew that, as a busy engineer and lawyer, we had very little knowledge about what goes into a great wedding and very little time or desire to learn the intricacies of "the perfect wedding." Alex spent hours asking probing and fun questions. He really got to know our visions, desires and quirks. There were so many times when we said things like "we want a dinner the night before, but not a typical rehearsal reception with people standing around at hightop in a bland conference room." He absorbed all of it and turned it into a fabulous weekend. Alex's encyclopedic knowledge about James and Rebecca was invaluable when my work got super crazy a few months before the wedding. When I told Alex that I could do big decisions, but the little ones, like choosing ribbon color or envelopes for invitations, were hurting my brain, Alex stepped in and planned everything based on what he knew about us. Alex found us a breathtaking space in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor, he coordinated flowers to match my colorful dress, helped pick perfect delicious meal stations that suited a variety of dietary needs, organized the music and stayed on top of the hotel until their 3,000 square foot Parker suite opened up. Alex interviewed and found the best make-up artist, designed hand calligraphed journals for our guests, and created guest bags that with fun and useful things. I could go on and on! Alex's management of every detail meant the weekend ran smoothly and everyone was happy! He created a bowling night for our out-of-town guests and wedding party, worked with the hotel make sure family members with friction had rooms far away from each other, stocked our bride and groom suite with snacks and champagne, moved us us through the precise schedule of photos, ceremony and reception, and organized a fun and delicious good-bye brunch. When a surprisingly rainy June meant our outdoor ceremony space was a mud-field, Alex pivoted and redesigned a large alcove in the reception space to be a cozy ceremony space. So many of our friends and family have said that ours was one of the best weddings they'd ever attended. Ok, ok, maybe they have to say that, but in this case, I think it's probably true! We would recommend Alex to any couple, especially successful professionals who want to create a first class, memorable experience (but might now have the first clue of how do to it).

To start off we had no air conditioning in the bridal suite. We had two small fans that did nothing but push around the hot air. My mother over heated right before my wedding time and it was awful. One AC unit was downstairs and one in the groom suite. People (including John) assured me that things would be cool and that was not what happened at all. Also no A/C was moved to the basement after being used in the groom suite and after we requested it to be moved. It was blazing hot in the basement and we ended the dance early due to people getting overheated. Second Sylvia, who was supposed to do the elevators and anything else we needed, did not reply promptly to our requests and made it seem like we were an inconvenience to help us. We had to go find her more than once and we had to search for her. We had several people leave before our first dance in the basement because they didn't want to wait on the elevator and hold up the wedding. It was very very disappointing to myself and my husband. It was his aunt and uncle and others who left because his uncle had a stroke and can no longer walk. It took us over ten minutes to find Sylvia. My brother and stepdad had to clear an entrance for the elevator to be used. I would have loved to actually meet my organizer Katie face to face but instead she sent a lady named Aspen in her place (Aspen was wonderful but didn't know anything of what Katie and I had already discussed). Since I checked in late at night and checked out early in the morning, there wasn't much of a wait. However, there were some instances where I needed something and had to wait at the bar while they served other customers, some of which were staying at the Moxy and others who were there for drinks. My stay overall was not bad, but not great. The pros: (1) The room was not a bad size for one person. Like other reviews, all of the items you can use were hung on a wall and didn't take up too much space. (2) They provided most of what you would need during your stay on the second floor: iron, toothbrush/paste, hair caps, sewing kit, earbuds, lotion, toilet paper, towels, etc. (3) They provided complimentary drink tickets during your stay. (4) The staff overall are very friendly and try their best to help. The cons: (1) The room can feel really cramped once you start using the hanging items. There is also a strange gap between the bed and the side space created as a nightstand. (2) There is no closet or mini fridge, so if you're here for a long stay, don't expect to have a way to store any leftovers. They do have a microwave downstairs, but it's not that helpful without a fridge. (3) There are garbage trucks that drive through every morning, so unless you're a very deep sleeper or on a higher floor, you would need the earbuds. (4) I requested to have the room cleaned and no one came to clean it (after my 3rd day of staying there). (5) If you like going to the gym, there is not much equipment at this hotel compared to the other two. There are some dumbbells, 3 cardio machines, and a punching bag. (6) This is more of a safety hazard than anything else. The emergency staircase does not connect to the first floor. Because I was on the second floor and one of the elevators broke during my stay, I tried walking downstairs to make the process quicker. It is not connected. (7) My shower flooded. If you stay for more than 3 nights, you have to unclog the shower drain every 3 days to make sure it doesn't flood.

It's counterbalanced with the bit of (still upscale) "shabby" aspects in the reclaimed wooden pieces, exposed bits of brick in the walls, concrete floor, and wooden barn doors. Moss offers an entire room full of jars, candle holders, decor pieces, and other accent items you can use for your event, so definitely do not sleep on that aspect of their venue, too. We visited Moss Denver in Autumn so the greenery that you'll see on the grounds was not yet alive and blooming, so consider that if you visit during the winter or fall months. I'm sure the blooms of Summer or Spring add a whole other aspect of the natural ambiance! Aside from the moss, greenery, and chandeleirs, etc - Moss is mostly an empty slate. So you can bring your own design and personal touches to your event pretty easily, which is so great in a venue when you don't want a cookie cutter look. So I recommend definitely at least checking out Moss Denver as an option for weddings, corporate events, reunions, or any other event that needs a nice, pretty malleable space that will work for most any event needs.
