A swank eatery with four other locations throughout the Detroit Metro region, The Jagged Fork vows to "always practice the two Q's; Quality and Quantity." We can vouch, they surely met their standard! Our party of 4 set out to create quite the brunch spread (pictured here) - omelets, pancakes, berries, hash browns... The menu is literally huge, and includes quite the array of foods. Our duo had the Chicken Pomodoro and Egg White Cinco De Mayo omelets, each with a side of hash browns and pancakes. One had the apple cinnamon flambé and the other the red velvet. Our comrades in brunch crime likewise ordered the Egg White combo along with a full order of the cinnabun pancakes, side of eggs with cheese. Fresh squeezed orange juice was enjoyed by all. Let's start talking about the drinks: endless coffee for $3 was a deal, and the wait staff kept it coming. The orange juice, while relatively steeply priced at $5 for the small glass you get, was so fresh, sweet (not overly sweet) and mildly pulpy - it sent our taste buds soaring, leaving us wishing for more. We imagine a mimosa with that stuff would literally knock our socks off (or at least our flip-flops, given this weather). The food kept the good times rolling... the omelets were perfectly cooked, and paired well with our desire to also try a set of the pancakes. The apple cinnamon flambés were topped with a wholesome scoop of apples that reminded us of mom's homemade apple pie filling. The red velvet paired with the cream cheese frosting was the perfect amount of sweet to round out the savory omelets. The chicken pomodoro omelet was really well done, marrying the flavors of Italy to this breakfast spread. The chorizo in the cinco de mayo may have been a little overcooked, but fared well overall. And we haven't even mentioned the wonderful, golden hash brown potatoes... the hiccup came with the ketchup, of all things. We couldn't seem to get a full bottle brought to the table, and after asking for a new bottle of ketchup a third time, we gave up trying - they must not stock full bottles of ketchup?? We went to this establishment during Corona so thankfully it wasn't alot of people. The service was good and the food was really tasty. My husband ordered the corn beef hash and it was real corn beef that you pull off the brisket. Yummy. Very well flavored and seasoned. I had the grilled pesto chicken with ciabatta bread. What a great spot for breakfast, lunch... pretty much anything! The Jagged Fork has an OVERWHELMINGLY huge menu. It took me so long to finally decide what I wanted for brunch. Usually I am a burger person but the Graham Cracker French Toast seemed to be calling my name! The French Toast was deliciously thick and topped with cream cheese frosting (the perfect amount). We were looking for a simple brunch spot on our weekend visit to Ann Arbor. This place popped up on yelp and we gave it a go- I will not be going back. The food itself was okay; it was the experience and service that threw us off. Our server visited our table all of one time and that was to take our order- he did not ask about drinks, introduce himself, and only showed up to take this order after we had been seated for almost 20 mins. We did not get water or our coffee orders until after we were halfway through our food. We also had to ask twice for silverware. We had to ask a different server for our check, who referred us back to ours, after which we continued to sit there for another 45 minutes. There was **automatic gratuity** added which we referred to the hostess to have reduced. Additionally, our server was extremely attentive to the tables around us by providing their drinks, checking in frequently, and being chatty/polite with them. It was the stark contrast that lead us to question whether his behavior was rooted in bias against my friend and I (both women of color). As a server myself, I completely understand the nature of busy hours; but you never sacrifice your respect for the customer nor the quality of your service. read more

Just... so good. Adorable atmosphere, kind employees, free refills on tea, etc. The star of the show was definitely their food! My friends ordered waffles and demolished them, wish I'd say is a pretty good sign. I ordered an egg white veggie omelette, which was possibly the best omelette I've ever had. We decided to stay because according to the sign-in and host, there was only a 5-15 minute wait. Well, after 20 minutes we were still waiting. I went on a busy home football game Saturday morning for brunch before the game and was throughly impressed. The portion sizes are huge for the price and everything I ate tasted amazing! Dan the manager was our server and he was amazing and so caring sprinting around running the place. Walking into this place, I had an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia. It looks nothing like Hudson (smaller, loud, different vibe).
