He had blown diarrhea stomach ache for about four days. He called two days after to let them know that he got food poisoning. They were closed because it was Thanksgiving so he left a message. Monday he goes and tells them if they can give him a refund or partially refund because he got sick. We kept all the meat in freezer, to return to them if they wanted it back. They said no refunds because he waited too long. My husband explained you were closed. I left a message also emailed you. Long story short they didn't refund a penny back. I think my husband had purchased over $100-150 worth of brisket. We ended up giving it to our dogs, which they had blown diarrhea. Never ate there again.

Definitely a good tip if you're stopping here. We each got a half-pound of brisket with mac and cheese for $18.99. The brisket was okay, but honestly, I expected more from Harris. I actually prefer Armadillo Willy's. Remember to ask for BBQ sauce as they don't give it to you automatically. The mac and cheese was worse than the blue box kind It tasted more like survival food. But the other sides didn't look very good either, and I need some kind of carb with my meat, so I guess you pick your poison. The biggest issue for us was the heat. It was like sitting in an oven. Even with the shade and misters going, it was still so hot that we only managed about eight bites before calling it quits. For about $20 a person, it's not a bad deal for brisket, especially from a gas station. But would I stop here again? Probably not. I just want to be able to enjoy my lunch without being slow-cooked too.
