This place has gone down hill so much in the past year. I took my dad here for dinner. I ordered the breakfast sampler (they serve breakfast all the time). The eggs were slimy despite my asking for them over hard. My dad ordered cabbage rolls. They looked ok, and he said they were decent, but then we both had diarrhea the whole night. My Dad loves this place and brings us here every time we visit. He loves the diner-like food as do I. The menu is huge with many offerings from American to Greek to Polish. After looking for a place to have oysters on a Sunday afternoon in this town and realizing everything was closed a local told us that the diner across the street was open. We were hesitant, but we figured anything would do at this point. To our surprise our server Amy was spectacular! We asked her for her recommendations and suggested the perogies and stuffed cabbage for starters. They were very good. I had a gyro and my fiancé ordered more perogies ( the caramelized onions on top did the trick for her). Amy made sure we were never missing a thing and was on it at all times. She was friendly, asked if her recommendations met our expectations, was pleased to help and very genuine. The service alone is enough to get us back there. read more

This was my second time here. The first time I came it was for lunch. The matzo ball soup was very good and had good flavor/seasoning. Then I had the pierogies, which were melt-in-your-mouth amazing. I had to take half home because they were so rich and filling. But this time it was with friends for dinner. My one friend had the matzo ball soup, but hers came with such a huge matzo ball that it completely filled the bowl. There really wasn't any soup in it. So weird. I had the lentil soup, which was wonderful. Anyway, I wish the cooks would be more consistent. That matzo ball should have been at least half the size. The one they served was a big as a baseball. Seriously. Next I had the grilled kielbasa and sauerkraut. This was NOT the typical out-of-the-can German kraut. I don't know what they added to it was it was so flavorful and yummy, and no acidic taste. I was told that the owner has the meats shipped from NJ/NY area. The sausage was homemade and delightful. It may have been a bit overcooked (my friend also got it and complained) but it was so good that I didn't mind. My side of veggies were basically frozen peas/carrots out of a bag, but they actually tasted fresh. I took half of my dinner home, and for dinner the next night it tasted just as good. The dessert was not the greatest. My friend had the lemon coconut layer cake and she didn't like it. I had the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The whole thing was dense (almost chewy) and dry. Some of the cream cheese frosting was missing in the middle. Unfortunately, there was only one price for the meal and it comes with dessert. I wish they would cut the price of the dinner and just have the dessert as a separate item. I'm sure I will come again. read more

Yah, I'm the tall guy that had the maroon fleece on that just walked out a few minutes ago. I walked in before the party of 4 ,but they were sat first as I stood right in front of them. I overheard the woman behind the register state she had just sat so and so a party of 1, so I'm guessing the waitress sat the party of 4 in her section for the larger check. A very pleasant young woman asked me if I was dining in and I stated I was. The same waitress that just sat the 4 top didn't offer to seat me so I guess my party of 1 was of concern to you and your establishment, so I just walked out. This would have been my 5th time eating here as I love your food, but I won't be back. I found your place because Baldino's across the street was closed on a Monday I was in the area. It's just meh. Very awkward when being seating because two waitresses quarreling over who is getting the table or not. I ordered two separate 2 Mac and cheese plates- one for each of my kids. They came out looking completely different and one of them tasted like it was in a freezer for years before being thrown into a microwave. I ordered the southwest salad and it was ok. Generic. Nothing special about it. Kids meals were supposed to come with a dessert of pudding or brownie or cookie and not only did it not come out with the Mac and cheese but we weren't even offered it at the end. Being a Jersey girl and missing the things I used to get in a diner back home, I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz in finally finding the Emerald City! Awesome place with extensive menu of all things Jersey! I am from the south end of Jersey and was able to get perfectly cooked scrapple to go with my breakfast and a hard roll with butter. Hash browns were so flavorful and eggs fluffy. My breakfast mate had the Breakfast sampler for 12.95 but HUGE. A waffle the size of a small baseball mitt, eggs, sausage, bacon, ham steak, hash browns and toast. Needless to say, most of it went home with the exception of the waffle, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Jersey style menu with pork roll, egg and cheese on hard roll, french fries and gravy, SOS (chipped beef), the menu is endless for every meal. We will be back and thank you so much for this experience! Don't know about the other reviews, but the restaurant was clean, the staff attentive, the manager was awesome and we didn't wait as long as some have stated they did. Time To Eat!?!? Time to leave is more like it!! This was our second time there. First time was when they first opened and figured it was just because it was new is why it was so bad..... Well... That isn't the case. This place needs help and I don't mean Gordan Ramsey help I mean act of god help!! We placed our order with a very nice waiter only to be told 30 minutes later that the waffle iron was broke and that we needed to order something else. So we order French toast as we watched the rest of the order sit in the window under the heat lamp until the French toast was done. And boy was it done!!! They bring out 3 cold meals and the order of burnt and I don't mean a little burnt I mean full on charcoal on a plate. The biscuit's tasted of chemicals and the bacon was thrown in the deep fryer then served. The only good part of the whole meal was the waiter. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR STOMACH LINING!!! read more

The place is very clean and nice soon as you get in the lot. Service was quick and courteous. I ordered the lasagna. The yeast rolls melted in my mouth. It came with a small salad that was just enough. The sausage in the lasagna was a little sweet but it was still very good. I plan to return tomorrow. This was my first time here and I had such high expectations...unfortunately let down. The hostess with the short dark hair, was very abrupt to servers blatantly in front of customers. We were so taken back listening to how that hostess was speaking. Our server seemed like she was just in a down right bad mood. Food wasn't great, just OK at best. I think this location is jinx'd. It seems like every restaurant that opens here is doomed to fail within 6 months. My family ate here over the Labor Day weekend and it was not that good. My wife and the kids liked their meal, but my hamburger was horrible. I pulled out a piece of tendon that size of a dime. I also got a little sick after leaving the place. I had the worst chopped sirloin ever- it tasted like beef with filler in it- no tase and gross. Time to Eat Diner. Giant menu & great food. You want to go back to eat your way through the entire menu. Everything tastes home cooked which I actually think it is. I know all the desserts are made on premises. You taste the drippings in the gravies and sauces. I do not taste no jars or cans. Since the menu is so huge, it is the perfect place to take a large party since everyone can get whatever they want at any time. Prices are very reasonable. There's no alcohol so a drink and the tip will add say $5 or $6 bucks to your $8-$15 awesomely tasty and fully apportioned meal. Go hungry and leave stuffed. I love this place. read more

My daughter and I went there and the server comes up to us, "what do you want to drink?" No ,"Hi my name is ..... May I get you something to drink?" My daughter wanted bacon and eggs with cheese. THATS IT!! She's 7 and the server wanted to charge me like 8 bucks. I went to the manager hoping she would accommodate me. NO, She was a complete B---- and would not do anything to change it. I didn't know her name but she had a strong accent. After that we left and went over to the Lighthouse cafe and I had the best pancake I've ever had. we have tried to make this restaurant work for us. THe menu is huge. the pricing for the most part reasonable. Our meal yesterday will be our last (we have been there 7 times continuing to search for acceptable options) THe soup was cold, the open face turkey sandwich was COLD the mashed potatos were either old or improperly prepared. The other meal yesterday was also unacceptable. the best part of a late breakfast was the buttered toast. The stuffed cabbage is virtually all rice we will not be going back.. They seem to think that quantity is more important then quality. The product is consistent (but not in a positive way) and when asking for recommendations we have been told by multiple staff not to order the meatloaf. When multiple staff on multiple occassions say the same thing... the owners have a problem and it is not with the searving staff it is in the kitchen. read more

The wait is over, it's finally here! A REAL New York/New Jersey style diner. I've lived in Jupiter for over 20 years and always wondered why I had to drive down to Lauderdale and visit my Grandma to enjoy a good diner meal? Either that or settle for Too-Jays(which is great, but not diner food). This is the real deal! Anyone who knows diners will realize this as soon as you walk in the door, and see all the massive cakes and pies on display. The cookies and mints by the cash register, classic. I have forever been raving about hitting the diner late night and grabbing some mozzarella fries with a side of brown gravy to my fiancee, so naturally that's what I started with. I told her I felt like I was 19 again, and at the diner with my friends from high school! They were perfect, crispy, quality cheese and excellent gravy. My family and I have 5 staples that we ALWAYS order from the diner up north: Chicken Parm(my brother), Chicken stuffed with spinach and feta(mom), Chef salad(Dad), Turkey Club(me) and a Cheesburger Deluxe(whoever is feeling lucky) I went with Chicken Parm in honor of my brother. When I sent him a pic, he thought we were up in New York and went up to surprise him. It was exactly what I hoped for and more. The marinara sauce had a garlicky-scampi like taste to it. Not too heavy on the garlic, just enough. The pasta was cooked perfectly and with that marinara sauce, it was hard to stop eating it. The chicken Parm came with soup AND salad which were both great. I had chicken and escarole soup, which had lots of both in it, and a greek salad that was crisp and fresh. Perfect amount of dressing. My fiancee had a chicken gyro that was incredible. The tzatziki sauce was definetly homeade. We went home with 5 to-go containers, had dinner later and some lunch the following day. The wait staff was very attentive and accomodating. Wonderful Diner! If you can't find something you LOVE on the massive menu.... Then you just can't be pleased. Their soups are delicious! Whenever we get a cold in our house, we quick run over to the restaurant and pick up a quart of the homemade matzo ball soup or the chicken noodle. Oh my gosh, they are sooo good and I know they help in the healing process. Portions are quite large here...we always bring leftovers home. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings is superb. This is a new restaurant that opened about a month ago. The waitress and hostess were both friendly, but dinner was a good hunger wasted. Because it was close to the hotel, I went against one of my basic rules of dining by patronizing a locale that has photos of its entrees on the menu. And what a menu it was, resembling an oversized children's book with five lacquered glossy pages of choices. I ordered the hot roast beef expecting thinly sliced red meat with au jus. What the waitress plopped on the counter was tasteless gray meat, mystery meat we called it in school, covered with gravy that had that metallic straight-out-of-the-can flavor, all over a bed of gooey turkey stuffing. Never have I had roast beef served over turkey stuffing, but there's a first for everything, and a last. Awful as it was there was a silver lining to the experience. Afterward I was compelled to drive to a nearby ice cream shop and order a strawberry cone to get the taste out of my mouth. read more

Absolutely disgusting. A couple weeks ago their sewer backed up and everyone dining in the restaurant was greeted with a horrible smell and had to leave but not without paying. We couldn't even finish our meal. On another visit prior to that issue I ordered the perogies which came out spoiled. The manager said if I wanted good perogies to go to Publix and buy the frozen brands....I wish I was kidding. Then I decided to give it one more chance tonight. Huge mistake. I am a strict vegetarian and am allergic to shell fish. I thought it would be safe to order a side salad and a side order of pasta. First, they actually charge extra if you want sauce on your bowl of noodles which the menu doesn't state. Rather odd because I am not sure who orders just plain noodles. Second, I found clams in my sauce after I told the waitress of my food allergies and being a vegetarian. She sent the manager over, the same rude, unprofessional woman that I have had to deal with before that was dressed like she was working at a strip club and not at a family restaurant who informed me in her obnoxious tone that nothing in their restaurant was vegetarian contrary to what the menu states for food descriptions. Then she said if I wanted to have a vegetarian meal not to order anything there, including a salad because apparently random pieces of meat can land up in it. This place is a joke and she seriously doesn't need to be working in customer service. And to top it off she didn't take it off of our bill. Our waitress said she was an awful manager to work for. When I asked the horrendous manager about the bill, she grabbed it from me, literally said whatever and rolled her eyes. Needless to say I will never be going back nor will anyone I know. read more

Some of the complaints were about the Maryland crab cakes. They were made with fake crab meat. We went to this diner based on recommendations of some friends. We went on a Sunday afternoon. We got the polish combo dinner. On Sat and Sun the dinner also includes soup, salad and desert. Desert was a slice of one of their premium deserts that are made on premises daily. I had a slice of pineapple coconut cake. It was delicious. The place is nicely decorated and the staff was very efficient and friendly. The entire dinner was really reasonable! Will be going back very soon! read more
