So happy to have found a school that is academically challenging and emotionally tender. My girls are thriving at this school.

The teachers showed a…read morehigh level of concern for the education & over all welfare of the students and were wiling to help students as best they could to achieve. I felt safe at this school as well as accepted as a peer among others. As an advocate for student safety and comfort I am glad to say that I never experienced any bullying nor did I observe anybody being bullied at this school. Overall, I enjoyed my time & experiences at this school.

Went to this school for 2.5 years, i then dropped out and decided to finish school online…read more The environment of the school was usually tense and toxic, with tons of cliques. Favored the more popular students in the school/turned blind eyes to students who were part of sports or the class leaders. The teachers were good but it's overshadowed by the administration being terrible I was kicked out of my house going into my senior year, in which the school didn't help whatsoever even though they knew the situation (I get it's not the schools job to help, but they actively attempted to get me out of the school) and rather then let me talk to my counselor admins changed the counselor that I had because they felt she was too biased towards me. Not only that, but even my brother who was only a sophomore at the time had to drop out because he ended up getting addicted to drugs and would be using them with piers in the bathroom Which dropping out was an insane struggle as well, because we didn't want our education to end we just didn't want it at Interlake High School!! Both my brother and I decided to switch to online school (did this like 6 months apart) both him and I dealt with the school not answering for weeks about the program I was supposed to be joining. I sent 6 emails to them and got no response, so I had to go in and meet with counselors and admin j to get transcripts from my school. My brother though they just left him on his own, my mom would email but never a reply

This is from a 6-grader:…read more okay.. the school education sytem is terrible. instead of having an actual book where you can look and find examples on how to solve ur homework equasion you are given so many OneNote pages on homework ( OneNote is a platform for education and is the worst trust me.) the walls look like they havent been cleaned since the bulding was build. there are alot of bad drawings and swear words on there too. ALSO THE SECURITY AND SAFETY DOES NOT EVEN EXIST. THE GATE IS OPEN AT NIGHT. LIKE BRO WHAT?!. Highschoolers and kids eat lunch in the bathroom ( oh my god this isnt real.) and my friends say one of the highschool girls brought a hair curler in the bathroom or whatever its called and started curling her hair. they probably do their makeup routine there so be ready! i still cant express the safety system and the project based learning system. the teachers will not care about you at all. my PE experience was terrible kids were almost passing out there and the coach didnt care. also there is alot of violence in the school and u will get yelled at alot. ALSO ALOT OF BULLYING AND YELLING and the teachers will not care if students start getting on top of desks and swear at them. ( YES STUDENTS SWEAR AT THE TEACHERS NOW. ) (this is all coming from a student that went to this school for 3-4 months) . please dont go here. like at 3am someone can easily just go in the school because the gate is open 24/7 like its a gas station, and just start breaking windows, and stealing everything and the next day? you guessed it. looks like a tornado that just ran over the school campus. also Wedsdays are torture. like ik the school day is always shorter but its so BORING like omg. also if ur kid goes here for just 1 month they probably will be yelling, and swearing to you bc the teachers literally allow it. SO I BEG YOU DONT GO HERE! NOT SAFE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

The…read morestaff treats you like shit if you're "normal" and will not care if you report actual problems when they come up. This school allows kids to fuck around and will never solve distractions in learning. Most special kids get NO discipline and you will get hit, kicked, and screamed at with nothing to do about it. The way they handle kids in trouble is so unhealthy, you will not learn here, especially if you're in the middle school. Coming from an actual student who's been assaulted with a kids computer countless times; DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! Staff is near incompetent, will not update attendance properly and bombard your parents for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. For your safety and education, don't come here. Pick any other school please.

Worked formerly as a teacher here so this comes from my own personal views and opinions, although I…read morecan say that many former colleagues would agree with me... I can say with confidence this school is the worst school I have ever seen, been to, or worked at. To start, the tuition rate is outrageous, they have a turnover rate of almost 50% of staff every year, and they barely pay teachers with Masters and PHD's a living wage. In working at public schools before this, I can say the curriculum here is substantially worse and far less engaging. Parents get scammed into thinking this is some elite school for gifted kids. Your child will be far better off at any public school than here. Save your money for a good college or a real private school, not this horrendous place that calls itself a "school". PS after paying over $30,000 a year per child for tuition, that doesnt even cover school lunches, field trips, or any after school enrichment opportunities or activities. They just want your money, and if you pay enough I am sure they will give your kid amazing grades without them having to learn anything! (The school will pressure teachers to give students better grades so it will reflect better on them and make student look more capable than they are)

I'm so glad that we chose BCA a year ago and here's why:…read more 1) I see my son's remarkable progress in Math. Thanks to the engaging curriculum and teacher helps kids to build a solid foundation. Learning is fun. Each kids has their personalized math journal books. 2) Presentation skills have blossomed, with lots of opportunities to present in front of peers. Each child seeks the spotlight, showcasing their ideas with confidence. 3) The peer groups are exceptional, with students excelling in various fields like ice hockey, chess, dance, art performance, etc. 4) The school culture fosters a sense of inclusivity and compassion, emphasizing that everyone is a winner. My son's desire to raise funds for street kids reflects the school's values of community contribution. Special thanks to Mrs. Wilson, our classroom teacher. Not only myself but I've heard from several other parents in this class mention how much the kids love her.
