By far my favourite place to grab a quick bite in Yaletown or in Mt Pleasant. My favourite food item is the spring roll in a bowl ($6). They also have other offering which include full meals (Caesar salad, Greek bowl, macro bowl, and my other favourite The bahn mi bowl). In addition they also offer smoothies, juices, desserts/bars, and some other small snacks in the store (gluten free crackers, Smart Sweets, etc). They also sell their smoothie bases for the green and the chocolate smoothies. Also, sometimes they'll have discounts on juice cleanses. They offer free delivery if your purchase is greater than $65, which is awesome! read more

I am a huge fan of the Juice Truck so I was super excited to try out this location. It's located in Yaletown and fairly small (I believe it seats 10 people). But it has all the usual menu items as well as vegan products you can't find anywhere else (Black Sheep Cheeze). We got a few items to share! The Caesar salad (A blend of romaine, kale and radicchio served with sriracha chickpeas, smoked maple tempeh, walnut "parmesan", chipotle coconut bacon and fresh lemon, dressed with our creamy cashew caesar dressing), the Beastie bowl (Açai, blueberries, strawberries, avocado topped with homemade granola, almond butter, strawberries, homemade coconut whip, & hemp seeds), and celery juice. The Caesar salad is perfect! Their is an even amount of greens, the chickpeas are incredibly flavourful, the dressing is on point (and a perfect amount), and even the tempeh is delicious. The Beastie bowl is out of this world! The coconut whip and added fruit toppings make this dish. I prefer Glorys granola but this bowl is super delicious. These cute, convenient fresh juice bars are popping up all over the city. The stores are a bit bare, but you can order some fresh made juices and they have some vegan goodies to grab too. Purchased the $6.50 Vegan Tofu Spring Rolls from the upright refrigerator one late afternoon. I asked for an extra wedge of lime and the staff complied. Upon opening the plastic clamshell container unveiled an engaging presentation of colors. The use of shoots and lime wedge gives this dish an elevated preface. Had previously purchased the aforementioned roll from Body Energy Club so one would assume this would be a carbon copy review. However there were a few issues on this day. 1. Rice wrapper split causing contents to spill 2. Rice wrapper came undone causing roll to collapse 3. Dipping sauce was to congealed possibly stored at too low of temperature? When one attempted to dip the roll in the sauce, the roll would not perforate causing the veggies to avalanche out. Issues aside the rolls produced a fresh savoury flavour profile with spicy aftertaste by using lime, shoots and almond sauce. Portion size and value were slightly below average. Points docked for defects and points added for extra lime wedges. Would prefer these rolls were made to order fresh versus pre-made from the cooler. Would recommend 4 out of 5 stars read more

Yasssss Juice Truck, Yasssss! I'm all about this juice trend that has taken over Vancouver. Juice Truck just happens to be one of my faves. Formerly a food truck turned standalone store, JT has brought all of its original juices and snacks from their truck years and have made it better. They even have a Juice Truck cookbook now! Their stand-alone store is based in the heart of Yaletown, across from some popular restaurants. Their store is clean, minimalistic, with a touch of JT flavour (pink and green walls). A few of my faves are their burrito bowls, macro bowls and acai bowls. They're all filling and healthy, which is exactly my kind of style. There's nothing worse than eating healthy and feeling unsatisfied. You'll never feel that way when you leave JT. Great addition the Yaletown hub. I'll be back, more times than my bank account likes. read more

Got the warm oatmeal Cozy bowl with whipped coconut cream and it was filling and delicious. Friend got the cold Bestie bowl and it was even better! The service was a bit strange. The clerk wasn't very helpful. When asked about the ingredients she gave no verbal communication and just pointed at the ingredients under the product. I found this rude and demeaning. The actual juice and food was good, but I won't return, bad service. read more

Really cute place! Such a bright and friendly atmosphere when you walk in. Really yummy smoothie options, açaí bowls, fresh juices, vegan donuts, sweets and grab and go takeaway items. The chocolate smoothie and the pink sprinkle donut were my favorite things I've tried from here. They also have amazing packaged vegan banana bread and lemon loaf. So. Good. I first tried the strawberry coconut and I fell in love. Not overly sweet but such a nice pure coconut flavour. The tartness of the strawberries is complemented well by the creaminess of the coconut. After falling in love, I had to come back for more. Tried their most popular one, the green protein. It's so filling and it actually tastes good! Despite the amount of kale and spinach in it, it doesn't taste bitter. Probably one of the best things about the juice truck is that you know they don't use ice because when it's been a while, the juice stays the same consistency. It doesn't get watered down. As well, if you like their recipes, their book is available for you to buy (hint hint both drinks I talked about are in the book!). Their Moroccan tahini cauliflower salad is to die for. Sadly, quality is going down. I work in the area and I have this salad for for probably 50% of my lunches. It's a 14 dollar salad, but it's super healthy, vegan, relatively filling, and makes me feel good about myself (go me, eating a salad!). Unfortunately lately they've been bulking it up with cheap ingredients. For example a macro salad will have red peppers, yams, edamame, carrots, red cabbage, tofu and quinoa. First I noticed that my salad all of a sudden contained an insane amount of spinach. Leafy greens are good for you, so whatever. But today my 14 dollar salad was basically a bowl of spinach, a cup of quinoa, and a very very small amount of the other more expensive ingredients. That kinda did it for me. I was ok with a 14 dollar salad when it actually had a reasonable amount of good ingredients, but I'm not going to pay 14 dollars for a bowl of spinach and quinoa.
