I had a deep craving for halal chicken and decided to explore CP. When we ordered we hastily ushered over to order. We asked for a few minutes more to look at the menu. The restaurant was empty beside us and the workers. I would suggest you have your order in mind before entering the restaurant. I ordered the halal bowl with chicken. There was a buy one get one free meal. We also ordered a burger. The food was very average. The chicken had a tacky texture and it didn't have the robust flavor I was use to at other halal places. The rice was a little dry. I enjoyed the dressing that was on the entire meal. The bowl was mostly rice. I would have loved a balance of all options. I see this place is mostly frequented by college students. I think it's a decent place to get an affordable meal. I'm more of a food quality and ambiance restaurant goer so I will probably not be back. read more

Lemme tell you why this place was a bust for me. I was EXHAUSTED on a hump day (Wednesday). I had been so busy all week that decided instead of grocery shopping, I'd do their buy one get one deal, order 4 different deal meals, get 8 and not have to worry about food for the week. I knew that I'd be spending a small fortune in taxes (almost $16) and then tipping my driver ($8)....but I figured....as exhausted as I was....$24 to get meals delivered was worth it.....right? Meals were due to be delivered at 5:30pm. Perfect. Right as I'm getting home ...perfect. I can get home...change into comfy clothes, my meal will get there, I'll store the extra in my fridge, curl up, watch a show and call it a night by 6:45/7pm. AMAZING. Just what my...did I mention...exhausted...self needed. But no. My lovely I we driver gets to my house and hands me one bag. I was like...huh.....that does t look right. Sure enough...half my order is missing. Call the restaurant...their solution...come pick up the order. I'll let you guys guess how pleased I was about that. I pick up from the restaurant and whole they were nice and apologized....and offered me a drink....I was really turned off. And the orders aren't kept where I er drivers can just pick them up and go, they're behind the counter.... So, this was completely the restaurants oversight...and not Uber. But I'm sure glad I spent $24 extra dollars on an Uber order ....just to have to go there myself. I LOVE wasting my money. OH!! And on the ride home, the order tipped over....and the flimsy to go containers they use...busted open!! And one of my orders spilled out. Super super excellent. I loved when that happened. It really put the cherry on top of the experience for me. Anyhow...it's now 6:35pm, and I'm just getting back home. cool cool. I'm not annoyed at all. So yummy, i'm so glad that this place opened so close to South campus. I've been craving halal food for so long. Came with a large group at around 10-11 pm near closing time and the workers were more than willing to accommodate us. Such sweet service, def want to come again and support:) The combo over rice is so good, nice juicy meats over a hot large serving of rice. Even the rice is nicely seasoned with a delicate flavor of aromatic spices, yum :) The veggies are really yummy on top as well. You can get all three sauces for free: White, Hot, and Cilantro. They all taste good imo! Big serving sizes as well, none of my friends were able to fully finish their platters so we saved it for a snack later yay:) read more

a great addition to campus eatery choices! (wish they were around when we were there)- the service was fantastic; the owner was such a great guy- very clearly passionate about the dishes- training the new staff I overheard him discussing ensuring ample ingredients with quality plating. each dish looked absolutely delicious; big serving sizes-hearty portions- for only $11 it's a bang for your buck! I loved when he presented me dishes & asked, "how about that, are you hungry?!" He also insisted I take a coffee to-go (on the house) & when I attempted to politely decline he informed me this was the best coffee in all College Park-I took it to be nice, then one sip & I was so glad I did- he was right it was the most delectable creamy sweetened coffee though the dishes were hearty w. juicy meat & thick larger falafels, overall they could have used a bit more seasoning pop- I had to add some additional sauce/seasoning at home to get a flavor boost-for that I don't think they're the best halal out there, but for the price & the serving size I'd definitely go back, take to go, and just add seasoning at home because the portion were worth it. read more

Okay we ordered food for the first time ever ! & I've actually been waiting so long for this place to open up for us to try ! I was excited ... it said open 11am to 10pm We tired to order through the phone but they made it complicated... vvvvverry complicated that they demanded us to come in and make our order in person because they said they were already putting things away ... okay so we did. We go in .. and when we got in there they were closing the door and it's only 8:45pm -9:00 pm they need to get their shyt together Stay when it says it's open ! read more

My goodness ... the best lamb I've ever had ! Food was made to order. Took about 10 minutes. I will say though,they aren't giving anything extra for free ... not a cucumber, not a slither of lettuce lol but the food is amazing. Definitely recommend read more

My first time at this place. Ordered the lamb on rice dish. I must say I was disappointed. Whatever it was, it was not lamb! Didn't look like lamb and did not taste like it. I believe it was some mashed / ground stuff with some lamb meat, maybe. I was starving and ate most of the rice and discarded the rest. NOT WORT THE MONEY!! I won't be returning any time soon. Nice people and good customer service. I got the chicken sandwich and the burger. They were both really bad.

Stopped here for a quick bite with a huge caravan- we are travelling and chose Legends due to proximity to where we are staying. The food was good, served very quickly and the owner and those who worked there were kind and generous. Usually small restaurants are frustrated when a group of 15 people all walk in at the same time but they welcomed us and served with their hearts. Going to pick up burgers for our trip back home! The food was ok and really similar to Moby Freestyle at Stamp. The chicken over rice is what I got and the portions for rice, salad, and chicken was good. The only thing I did not like was they did not accept meal swipes or terrapin express. I would definitely return if the meal swipes of terrapin express was accepted here. As a freshmen if I have to pay $14.50 for a drink and chicken over rice then I would go somewhere else where they accept terrapin express or meal swipes. There are so many options on campus that accept terrapin or meal swipes. If you can afford $14.50 definitely try them out. read more
