This place was recommended to me by a friend, decided to try it while I was out running errands in the area. I was immediately greeted by a staff as soon as I walked in. Actually all of the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I ordered the beef Kofta and they told me that they were out but I heard someone from the back said that if I'm willing to wait a bit that they'll make it right now!! It was so worth the wait. I've driven by here so many times and finally decided to stop in today and give it a try. Since I was out running errands, I used my Yelp app to place a pickup order ahead of time, which made everything super convenient. For my first visit, I went with the San Diego wrap with chicken shawarma, since it's one of their signature items. It comes loaded with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, red cabbage slaw, and pickled onions, plus fries and feta cheese, all topped with their garlic yogurt sauce. I also added a side of dill yogurt because I love dipping my wraps. Everything is wrapped in their flatbread and grilled to order. The portion is pretty large in my opinion and definitely shareable if you're not starving. I ended up eating half and saving the rest for later. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the red cabbage slaw and the garlic yogurt sauce. The flavors all complemented each other really well. I also like that this a healthier fast-food option. Their menu has a lot of variety too, including wraps, bowls, plates, fries, and even family meals and catering. The store itself was very neat and clean, with plenty of seating if you decide to dine in. My order was ready earlier than expected, and the staff was friendly and welcoming when I picked it up. Placed order online and came to pick it up. When I got to the store only a few sat inside. Kitchen seem busy but nothing crazy. Someone steps out asks my name and gives me the one order on the desk. He then takes backs my bag to touch around making sure that I have my sauce and then hands me the bag after I decline utensils. I should have checked the bag at the store. When I open it looks like slop. Even though it was packaged on the desk already bag and I strapped it into my front seat to travel the 3 miles home. I immediately saw that it only had one of two sauces. Everything else was completely mixed together. Would have been trashed if I was an extra picky person that like my items to see separated. We came for lunch in a Sunday. They were surprisingly busy. They promote themselves as "new Mediterranean". Wall signs indicate they have restaurants located in California, Texas, and Florida. We decided to get a plate and share. They also have bowls and wraps, as well. We chose the mixed lamb and beef for our meat/protein. And hummus and salad for our sides. The plate came with their version of tzatziki sauce (we liked it), salad dressing, and a round piece of thick pita bread. They had other sauces on a help yourself side bar including a garlic one and a spicy jalapeño one. The meat was just okay. It's similar to gyro meat with different spices. The salad was mixed greens with tomatoes and red onion pieces. I didn't have any of the salad as I'm not a fan of mixed greens. The hummus was served in its own bowl. It was quite thick. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I'm not sure we ordered correctly. I saw a couple other plates with grilled chicken skewers, veggies, and yellow rice and they looked way more appealing. Staff was very friendly and helpful in letting us know the best way to get the best deal on trying all the items. We wanted to try the chicken and lamb/beef on the spit. We got a bowl of the lamb beef and a side of chicken with the saffron rice and romaine. Plenty to share. So much meat in one bowl! It is delicious. (So good we ate it so fast I couldn't take a photo ‍) The sauces they have are nice and fresh. The OG sauce is good, the dill & hot are second. The store was clean. Definitely worth the wait! So happy this place is finally open! The food is Amazing! Everything sounds so good, can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. The keto bowl with chicken was great, so filling. The pita chips are good as well, definitely grab the sauces, the red chili one has the perfect amount of heat. First review of the year! I've been waiting all of 2024 for The Kebab Shop to open, the opening has been delayed and pushed back when they were expecting to open May of 2024 and I believe it just opened not too long ago(I didn't ask, so I'm assuming lol). To start off, the store was very clean and bright, it is giving off good vibes already. They have a cashier and you also have the option to order from the ipad. There are good amounts of options where you don't feel overwhelmed, that is what I like. On the mobile ordering, they show you what the items look like, and what ingredients are in it. They also show the different prices of protein. The sauce bar is limited to 3 sauces, they were all very yummy. From what you can see from the photo, their ingredients look very fresh and the stations all look clean. I really enjoy that. I do understand that this is a soft opening, so I will report back after a few months. We ordered the Super Duper (Hummus, Fries, Pickled Onions, Cilantro Jalapeno sauce and standard toppings), and Fire wrap (Fire Hummus, Saffron Rice, Fire Chili Sauce and standard toppings). They were both very fresh and the portions are HUGE. The wrap was as long as my forearm. You definitely get a bang for your buck. I will definitely be coming back, I look forward to trying their other items. I do hope that the standards will be the same the next time I come! read more

Looking for where to have lunch, decided to give this place a try. I had "the plate" with saffron rice with falafel and chicken for the protein. The wife had the wrap with salad chicken shawarma and hummus. There is a sauce bar with 4 sauces; original yogurt sauce, yogurt with dill, cilantro jalapeño (spicy) and Hot sauce. The food was made to order and tasted fresh. Everything was delicious, the restaurant was clean and the service excellent. I had such a great experience at The Kebab Shop! I ordered a bowl with chicken and mixed salad and it was absolutely phenomenal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The service really stood out too. Dyshiema was at the register and also brought my bowl out when it was ready. I tried to get up to grab it myself, but she insisted on serving me, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. This was my second time here and it definitely won't be my last. The store felt relaxed, it was clean, and they had very quick service for a decent amount of people there. I saw a sign that this place was opening a while back, and I was excited to try it. I am, however, confused about the name. It says the kabob shop, but then there's a sign hanging calling at TKS kabob so I'm not sure if they already went under new management or what. The inside was cute and clean. The menu is easy to read and there was many choices to be had. I ordered a bowl with saffron rice, lettuce shaved lamb, and all of the fixings that they offer. They have many sauces including the original yogurt sauce, cilantro jalapeno, and a chili sauce. The food was prepared fast, and was very delicious! Clean store, easy to order, lots of options, friendly staff. I ordered a wrap with falafel, rice, and several items stuffed inside. Also ordered fries and a fountain soda. About $20. To be honest, that is just way, way too expensive for this. I didn't love the combo either. The bread was very tasty and the falafel themselves were fine. The rice inside was not a good combo, and the lettuce/tomatoes also had a yogurt dressing on them maybe? Not sure, but it tasted strange, definitely not like a regular falafel in pita. It was huge though, I mean absolutely enormous. And the fries were good and also an extremely large order. So 2 people could easily share one order of everything. I might go give them one more try now that I have a better idea of what I like and don't like. I do wish they had some stuffed grape leaves though! read more

It's nice to know they keep the actual meat to a bare minimum so they can maximize the more exotic items, like rice and tomatoes and lettuce with those hard to find cucumbers. I prefer the steak over the chicken but looking forward to trying some of the other mixed meats. I came in after a hard workout looking for some tasty, but healthy food to fuel my gains, Reef was at the register and I've rarely met a more pleasant, helpful and accommodating front of house person in my life. Every elaborate question I had about the menu, he answered perfectly with a kindness and friendliness you rarely see. I spoke to the chefs in the kitchen about something for a second as I was waiting for my meal, I believe they said their names were Carlos and True. So friendly and excited to help me out. It's Middle Eastern fast food. Beats Burger King and the rest for a little more $$ and healthier too. Better than Olive U in my opinion.
