The Service was great the people were very friendly & helpful. It was very clean on the inside and looked brand new like they just opened. The Food was good but we were told it would be spicy but it wasn't it was actually really sweet which was unexpected. Plus a lot of things either came in small amounts or a la cart & they were very expensive. So I would say Yes give it a try maybe try a different more established location & bring a few extra bucks if you want to get a little bit of everything in your boil!

UNETHICAL STAFF!!!!!! My wife and three kids walked in at 9:00 PM. Nobody sat us down, we proceeded to sit down, and the three employees looked at us and shook their heads with an annoyed appearance. We waited for 15 minutes and not one single employee came to us. We overheard other people complaining as well. The employees seemed very busy chatting and talking about how they cannot wait to get off. The place was not anywhere near full, which is why it seemed weird. What makes matters worse is that when we got up to leave,..... The three employees literally HIGH FIVED each other and laughed in joy!!!!!! I'm assuming because they had an hour and a half left they had something personal against us and were glad that we left. We don't understand what happened at all. We are definitely never the kind of people to be rude or act entitled. But this was VERY DISAPPOINTING because I take my Electrical Company Employees out for a team dinner several times a month here. Definitely going to take my money elsewhere.

My favorite place so far due to the viet Cajun style sauce. I've had the crawfish and wings. I Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a restaurant where the atmosphere is just as enjoyable as the food, San…read moreMartín is absolutely worth a visit. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

I absolutely LOVE San Martin and I honestly do not know why I have yet to come back sooner!…read more I recently popped back into San martin after not being there for a while, and OMG! I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

We also got the antipasti plate and I liked it. Probably will go back to try the other options! Service 5/5: our server was great and always checked in on us! Made sure we're good and had everything we needed. Ambiance: it was nice! Keep in mind, happy hour is only at the rooftop upstairs. We wanted to be up there but in 3 digit degree heat in Dallas, we were not going to stay out there lol. Downstairs was regular dining. The great thing was that they were accommodating and let us do happy hour downstairs. Parking: the lot was super full and I thought we couldn't park in the open spaces in front of the stores since they looked reserved, but we got confirmation that we were good to park there.
