Carne Asada Street Fries - wow!
    Dan B.

This was not what I expected. I say that because is was way better. So much variety and the flavors were amazing. The team there there was helpful with recommending stuff on my first visit. The seats are metal and no super comfortable, but it fits the atmosphere of street food and eating outside, so I wouldn't change a thing there. The places fills up by noon weekdays, so plan ahead. Important- "Angry" is their word for spicy, so if you don't like it spicy, don't choose anything with "angry" in the name or tell them to not make it "angry". :)

So far looking at the pricing very accommodating especially for this economy that's a super plus !! The angry Pho definitely leaves up to its name. The soup with the combination of the tacos just makes everything pop!! Energetically, chaotic, fun space to come with family and friends. They even give you your own personal water jar. Definitely a 10/10 it's on Preston rd come check them out ! It's irresistible delicious // Man oh Man I'm telling you there Agua Frescas be heavenly refreshing the sweet and spicy wings that come on the platter the sweetness compensate the chicken how it's seared instead of meat and then you have the spice that gives you that kick off of that first juicy bite very tasty

Met up with some friends and was looking forward to trying something different. When I pulled up I was happy to see that they have a private parking lot with plenty of parking space. As I walked up I noticed that they have outside seating available (although with the pollen, today that wasn't even an option for me). As I got inside there was a nice little crowd and there was some confusion as to if we sit and order or order and sit however I caught the sign which let us know we order and sit and they bring the food to you. They have a lot of things on the menu to choose from and they even have platters which can feed multiple people. I went with the egg rolls, the potstickers, and the rice plate adding beef belly. The guy tried to talk me into the saltado de carne however I didn't want the fries, so I went with what I ordered. I also got a peach lychee drink. Found a seat and the food came quickly! The egg rolls were my least favorite as it lacked flavor for me. I love potstickers (Mandu), these were okay, however once I was looking for something besides soy sauce to dip them in. The saltado de carne reminded me of bulgogi however has some tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers on the side. The rice was a little dry for me. My friend liked the peach lychee. For me it was sweet, where undiluted it with water. It also had chunks of I'm assuming lychee in the bottom (think boba). Overall it was a good meal. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. The place has a nice little vibe and I'd come back and try something else.

I had been wanting to come here for so long and i finally made it! I was worried there would be a long wait but there was not at all. We got there at 5:30 pm on Tuesday. You order your food up front then go sit down and they bring everything out to you. I didn't love having to order upfront and then sit down and that's mostly because the decision was really hard on what to order cause everything sounded and looked amazing. I will say the food all came out really quickly and they were really good about finding where all the food went. We ordered a bunch of different plate plates at my table and everything was so good. I ordered the Elote, sweet chili wings, and ginger chicken tostadas, as well as the vanilla cookie Matcha. I took home a lot of leftovers and everything reheated great. The ginger chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I loved how many fun drinks they had. I just wish there were some more options to customize them as far as sweetness levels and milk. The vibes are immaculate. The decor is adorable.

Awesome idea! Me and my mom can here to have lunch and it did not disappoint. We got the burrito platter to share which came with the pho burrito, in my opinion the best thing on the platter. I will say some things could be improved like the dumplings and pho, they were good but nothing special. Staff was super nice and answered any questions we had. The place has lots of seating inside and outside and has an amazing vibe created by the decor and ambiance! Definitely want to come back and try out other dishes

I saw the great reviews and enticing photos and had to check it out. We walked in and there was a line to the door, where a sign let us know what to expect. There is no need to find a table in advance, one is provided at the cash register. There are menus on the wall, on the counter, and Yelp. The photos definitely do the menu items justice. The restaurant is bright, colorful, and has a very festive decor, like being at a party in the streets. The music was very upbeat. As for the food, we came on a Friday night after 6:30 pm. It took about 15 minutes to order, and another 45 to receive our food. We did notice some tables around us getting their food sooner, which might have been based on what was ready when they ordered. The chef sent out an order of Kimchi fries on the house for our patience, and they were delicious! My kids had the chicken nuggets and fries with specialty drinks. They loved their meal and drinks. My husband and I enjoyed the chicken and fish spring rolls, fishin' good, southern soul, and bo la lot skewers. The sauce with the skewers was delicious. The southern soul was wrapped in a soft bao bun, the chicken was seasoned well and crispy with sweet and tangy bit of spice. The fishin' good was a light flaky fish with crispy coating wrapped in lettuce, good stuff. The spring rolls were large and came with a tasty peanut sauce. I also enjoyed an aguas fresca- Jamaica. The size small was perfect, and there was a good balance of sweet and tart. The line was out the door and down the sidewalk when we left after 8pm. This is a must try, I plan to come back.

Visited Cris and John while in Texas for work by recommendation from my sorority sister. Whoever came up with this Viet-Tex fusion concept wins!!!!! It's a flavor party in your mouth. The Pho is amazing and the Burria tacos were on point--both so amazingly good! Their menu is awesome--I will be back to try other fusion items! They also make wonderful fresh drinks. I had a lychee peach tea with bits of lychee-YUM! From the food to the service, everything was on point. It's a small spot with charming decor, and the food comes out quickly without sacrificing quality. Most definitely a must-try!

Came by on a Sunday around 2 PM and the line was long (probably about a 25 minute wait) but honestly, it moved pretty smoothly and was worth it. The birria tacos were top notch, but the real standout was the dip. It had these subtle pho-like flairs to it that made it super rich and comforting. I found myself dunking every bite. Beautiful store. Their menu is pretty extensive too, which just means I already have a reason to come back and try more. The desserts also looked really fun and tempting. Going to try next time!

Stopped by Cris and John on a Saturday for lunch and the line was out the door. We waited about 25 minutes and it moved pretty efficiently. You order at the counter first, then grab a table. Love the Vietnamese Mexican fusion concept. The birria tacos were solid and hit the spot. The chicken spring rolls were good but didn't really stand out. Overall, it's a fun, lively spot! They also have pho on the menu, which I want to try next time.

This place is very unique and delicious, just try it. I've been here 4X now and every time i've discovered a great menu item each time. I recommend their street fries and their carne asada fries are great too! I tried their burger today which was surprisingly good for a vietnamese/mexican restaurant! Go, you won't regret it!

I've never had Mexican/Viet fusion before and I'm Viet. This place is crazy good. The Birria Tacos + Angry Pho Broth was delicious. The broth was very well balanced between Viet fragrance and Birria spiciness. The Wings with Fish sauces were great as well. The line at the restaurant speaks for itself. The service is quick. There are plenty of seating but it gets packed quick so plan ahead! I'd definitely recommend everyone to come and try it!

Genuinely one of the best fusion places I've been to!!! I can see why the line is out the shop and 30+ minutes long!! I came across this place on yelp and saw the unique menu and had to try it out. I came for dinner with my parents (3 people) and the line was wrapped around in the inside. You order at the front and they'll find a seat for your party. What we ordered: - Angry pho but with ramen noodles and added short rib - $13 + $6 This is such a good broth (im assuming is like a beef based Birria broth and tasted a little tomato-y) with ramen noodles! The broth is a little oily but it is overall sooo good!! The noodles are not too soft and not too hard! the short rib is also a must get because it's superrr tender. I feel like there's very little places that sell this kind of broth with ramen or pho so I would recommend this! - Birria and phorito platter - $40 Comes with: - (3) Birria Tacos With Angry Broth - (3) Bang Bang Wings - (3) Bang Bang Wings - Chicken Phorrito - Korean Fries The Birria tacos here are amazinggg they fill it up with good amounts of tender beef and cheese and the outside is crispy! The wings are also good you can choose which flavor you like from the menu. The chicken phorrito is soooo good! I think it's the most unique too! They add the sauce from pho and pho noodles in it and the flavor is soo good. You can also choose what type of meat you want in it. The Korean fries are not bad. You can also pick which flavor you want from the menu. This is a biggg platter so you can definitely share this with a group of 3-4 people! - Elote and chips - $7 I love corn so I loveddd this dish. The corn is like full (idk how to explain this) and it's my favorite type. The cups are crunchy and pairing this with seasoned corn is perfect. - Ube horchata latte regular - $7.50 This is my favorite drink from here!! It definitely has that ube taste and horchata taste. I would recommend drink this too!! - Matcha horchata latte large - $8.50 This drink is good too, there is that matcha taste with the horchata! It's a good drink if you're feeling more for matcha! It's sweet but not as sweet as the ube in my opinion. The inside is also well decorated! It's a mix of Vietnamese and Mexican culture which is really cool to see. There are two bathrooms for guys and girls so it can get a little crowded. There is seating inside and outside. I like how they find the table for you so you don't need to worry about ordering and reserving one. The servers are also friendly and very attentive. Overall we paid about $107 which can seem like a lot but if shared it's not that bad. As three people we had a lot leftovers. I don't know if they do but they should open a shop in SoCal because I feel they would also get a lot of customers there! I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come again and bring more people!!!

The carrots were really good, it's a small serving The chocolate cake was the best cake I've ever had. For a restaurant at this level of hype and price, customer service is a key component. When we walked in, our waiter welcomed us quickly, he took time to talk through the menu, give his suggestions, and I thought we were going to have that special experience. We rarely saw him again the rest of the night. Random very nice people would bring us our items and let us ask for another drink, but our waiter seemed to be actively avoiding looking our way, wasn't the one to check us out, or say thanks and goodbye. It was just odd, I think maybe he was overworked. A relationship with the waiter is a nice thread to tie a dinner into a real experience from start to finish, just a thought. We were seated at the bar, where a branded 'Happy Birthday' sign waited. From there, the bartender, Gabe, gave us a full rundown of the menu and offered suggestions for us. He could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about each dish. He truly made the night feel special and even sent out two appetizers so that we got to try the dishes that he liked. Also, when we got were finishing up our meal and ordered the chocolate cake, there was a candle in it and he took our picture with a Polaroid camera to help commemorate the occasion. A small gesture that went a long way. The first dish that we got was the Kimchi and Gruyère rice fritters, which were one of the dishes that Gabe sent out and a great start to the night. From there, we ordered the stuffed leeks and the dauphine ravioli, both of which were fantastic and the highlights of the meal. Both must-order dishes. We opted for the branzino as our entree, and Gabe sent out a side of rice which paired with the fish perfectly. The only surprising miss for our meal was the garlic noodles, just felt a bit one dimensional. The chocolate cake was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Overall will absolutely be back; we have talked a few times about what we will order the next time we visit.
