Chicken dredge had a nice blend of dry spices and a small amount of sweetness. Fried well (still juicy). I feel like I can take a decent amount of heat, but my happiness level was at a medium. Hot, I could kind of handle but not ideal. Damn Hot was not a fun experience anymore. I got the Comeback Sauce which didn't really help with the heat since it's a little spicy itself. My friends ordered a side of BBQ sauce that was like a creamy BBQ sauce. It tasted pretty good, but a bit of an odd combo with the wings. The sides were really good. Out of the ones I tasted, I would order them: Pimento Mac & Cheese - cheesy goodness, pasta on the softer side, but still acceptable Black Eyed Pea Salad - a nice refreshing take on beans with a good hit of vinegar. Pairs well with fried chicken Cole Slaw - a pretty standard, but solid slaw Bacon Cheddar Grits - very cheesy, a little thinner than I was expecting Hattie B's knows what they're doing and are cranking out good food. Love the food and I think it's reasonably priced.

Doesn't make sense to stand in line and not think about what you're getting. Lol I liked the communication of the staff because our food was going to take a little longer since they needed to fry a new batch of chicken. Food was amazing and definitely hit the spot. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Anyways the staff is really helpful. As soon as you're seated you're greeted and given the 411 on the place being a scratch kitchen, everything made in house and this is important because it contributes to the amazing quality control. But I digress. They also have merchandise and a pastry kitchen for you to grab and go coffee if you don't have time to enjoy the delicious food at a table. Now you cannot really go wrong here. We started off with the ricotta and honey on sourdough...amazing. And that honey? I wanted to take one home so bad but I did not want to check in my bag for it so I'll have to come by again. I could eat this pairing for days. So good. We stuck to the basics, biscuits with our cravings (chicken on mine, and bacon + egg + cheese on my friends) and a curry. Left leaving stuffed. Those biscuits...you must. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

(We had other dinner plans in a few hrs) we got the ricotta/honey bread, the honey butter biscuits and a Bloody Mary. Ricotta/honey: everyone raves about this but we thought it was boring. Ricotta was cold but the bread was warm. No flavor. Added salt and pepper just for something. It gives me ideas of something better to make some day do for that I'm Grateful. Biscuits: husband and friends loved them!! Could have used more butter but still good. Bloody Mary- YEEEESSS!! It was perfect. Our friend got the hot chicken and he loved it. I had 1 bite and it was definitely hot!! And yes- very good. All in all, a good different brunch place for an out of towner. Nothing amazing that I will come back for. Great customer service!

Our server was attentive, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a date night. We had the gin cocktail, empanadas, risotto/rice, mac & cheese, broccolini, pork belly, ribs, grilled cheese, and cheesecake. Everything was delicious, but the herby and cheesy risotto was my favorite, with the ribs and empanadas close behind. I had a happy dance after every first bite. And the cheesecake? I completely understand why it keeps winning awards. If you love cheesecake, you have to try it. 10/10. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

We got the happy hour red which was a tempranillo, which was very tasty. For the Tapas we got patatas bravas, pulpo, broccolini, and pork belly. The patatas bravas is a must have! Its packed with flavor and were cooked to perfection. Definitely was not expecting to get such a well prepared pulpo dish in Nashville. Highly recommend. The broccolini also amazing. The only one that fell kind of short was the pork belly. It was way to fatty even for pork belly Will definitely be back if I'm ever back in Nashville
