The overnight stay included our 4 entry tickets to the park, shuttle to and from the lights, & complimentary breakfast on day of checkout. Lonestar Lights put on by Carolina Creek is a holiday gem that is sure to have something for everyone. Petting zoo, snow hill for sledding, gingerbread bouncy house, magic shows & live music, storytelling and caroling groups, light mazes and displays, to Santa visit with free digital photos quickly sent via text. Additional Arctic addons to your tickets include zip line, wall climbing, and a large swing each offering great views of the lights. We partake in zip line every year at $10 each (or even cheaper if you get in on their promos of 20-50% off online throughout the season). Throughout the park there are craft options from ornaments to cookie decorating ranging from $3+. We did the leather stamping and snowman tree stump ornaments. There are several truck eateries around the park with many opportunities to enjoy that traditional holiday hot cocoa. Also shopping can be found inside the main lodge behind the beautifully decorated tree in the center of the facility. This year differences there was a small train (not sure if it was included in ticket price) and an end of the night fireworks/music show at 9PM. Overall my family enjoyed our second visit and the themed room that was decorated in all things Nutcracker. I definitely plan to make this a continued family tradition!

My wife told me about it and I saw several people online say it was pretty great. I knew very little about it, other than those rave reviews that were coming in. Well, it turns out it's basically a Christmas Fair for kids. There are a million stands for food and various treats: cookies, smores, candy, etc - with plenty of savory stuff too. Aside from the food, there's: train rides, a petting zoo, a huge zipline, rock climbing, a massive electrically powered swing, horse rides, cookie decorating, music, and about an 8-10 minute firework show at the end! The only downside is that this appeals to young kids and you have to keep them up way past their bed time, especially if you want to stay for the 9pm fireworks. Oh, and it had rained earlier that day, so our shoes were basically mud pits from our walk through the parking lot back to the car. We got a golf cart ride from the car to the park once we arrived, but didn't want to wait in line for that when we left. I went to Sam Houston State about 20 years ago, and never would have guessed that I'd be taking my kid back to Huntsville in 2024 for such an experience. Also, I never realized how large the city of Huntsville technically is because this is at least 20+ minutes from campus.

Like the convenience of selecting and purchasing tickets in advance online. Bar and seat service of full menu is a pleasure and enjoy. This visit chairs comfy, reclining and relaxing with large cup holders. However l, sound bleeding through from two other sides made it distracting and at times difficult to hear our movie. Also service got a little dicey when asking for refills and a different server came and was loud and distracting during the middle of the movie, not trying to be discreet or keep volume down with us as well as with other patrons around us. Unfortunately for the price of movie tickets we will likely go bank to Star cinema in College Station or a recently remodeled nearby other cinema.

We had a jack and Coke ice and another mixed drink they just were not great. The one odd thing I noticed was the popcorn. It arrived to us cold served in a metal bowl. I asked for warm popcorn and it just was not as good as other movie theaters. Overall, though the price is good for the movie and the food is also good. The seating is very comfortable.

OVERALL GOOD-My family took me here to celebrate my birthday. Let me start by describing the meal…read moreand service. The first course was a fresh mixed greens salad. At the table, there was only a raspberry vinaigrette dressing to top the salad. It was good, but had berry seeds that were a little off putting. The rest of my group would have preferred a second dressing option such as ranch. When booking, you could choose chicken, fish or vegetarian. We all had the chicken. It was a beautiful plate of assorted roasted vegetables and potatoes topped with grilled chicken. The vegetables were a bit overcooked but were still tasty. The chicken was seasoned, but it could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste. Another guest at our table had the vegetarian option, a grilled cauliflower, and it looked delicious. They served iced tea, water, and there was a cash bar. They were slow to refill the water & iced tea glasses. I might suggest a pitcher of water at each table. The dessert course was a very good creamy chocolate mousse with fresh fruit & a crunchy cookie. Now for the show. This was a combination of acting, jokes, and audience participation. After the rules were explained, we were encouraged to make our way around the room to talk to the other participants to see if you could identify any suspects. The show started with a "murder" and clues were given through QR codes using your phone. Between courses, the actor led us through the story and interacted with the audience. Halfway through, the meal was served. After the dessert course, the actors started the final part of the show. There was a second and third murder, more clues, and the audience was then asked for the provided "who done it" questionnaires. Once collected the show staff went through the clues and announced the winner. The murder mystery part of the event was a little hit and miss for me. One of the neat things was that we had three of the hidden actors at our table. One was obviously part of the performance, but the other two were revealed in the end as actors in the show. During the pre-meal and meal time, they carried on table talk and added their input about suspects and clues just as if they were guests in the audience. Their reveal as part of the show at the end was very surprising to my party and made it very enjoyable. On the other hand, the website with the description of the event suggests "you will not find yourself staring at cheesy costumes, there will be no recited campy dialogue and certainly no hokey song and dance," My party believed all of this was in the show to some extent. I do understand each scripted show could have better writing and different actors which might make a difference. My party also believed that there was too much information and clues provided in the last ten minutes of the show for any guest to actually solve the crime. However, maybe my group wasn't up to speed or different shows/performances could be better planned. All in all, it was a good time.

The welcoming team was friendly from the moment we walked in, and the bartender was wonderful. Even though they were out of every wine I asked for (seven different selections!), she really tried her best to find something I'd enjoy. The only wines available were bottles at a much higher price point, which was disappointing. I'm still wondering what happened to their wine selection. Hubby did enjoy a nice cold beer served in a frosty glass, and that was perfect. Dinner was actually pretty good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster mac and cheese was tasty, although there wasn't much lobster to be found. Now for the theater itself... The seats are definitely showing their age and are getting a little rickety. Service was almost nonexistent. The one bright spot was a food runner who kindly pointed us to the QR code for the menu and even offered to bring us a printed menu. He was great. We ordered our movie snacks, but that's where things really went downhill. The popcorn was as stale as stale can be, the M&M's tasted old and a little funky, and somehow my club soda came with about four ice cubes and wasn't even very refreshing. The movie itself was good, and we still enjoyed having a much-needed date night together. Overall, though, it's sad to see this theater slipping because it used to be the place to go. I really hope they can turn things around. In the meantime, we'll be on the hunt for a new favorite theater. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations!

The scanner would not pull up my reservation for tickets, but the concierge verified us and showed us to the theatre. I was underwhelmed with the seats due to tattered upholstery on almost all the seats. My boyfriend's seat also was defective and did not recline. Our server- Colton- promptly greeted us and notified a manager quickly regarding the seat. They came over, apologized and gave us new seat options as well as snack coupons which I really appreciated (the seats were sold accidentally). The women's bathroom was a bit untidy- a few stalls were overloaded with toilet paper or inaccessible due to an overflow. To eat we ordered a margarita, whisky sour, buffalo wings and buffalo chicken pizza. The whisky sour and pizza were really good, the marg and wings pretty average. The servers weren't a distraction to the movie and brought our check in a timely manner. This was a nice place to visit but would love to see the seats redone.

Not sure why others have bad experiences here or whatever but I have never had one especially since I have been going more regularly by myself or with others. The food is good and always arrives hot & fresh. The cocktails are decent but I appreciate the wide variety and the fact that they have a full bar. Maybe the bartender just needs a little more practice on certain things like presentation. I'm never disappointed with the mango margarita or the espresso martini here so it's still a win. The servers are okay. They're sometimes fast, sometimes slow, just depends on who you get. Most of the time they forget to give me my water but that's okay, I always have one in my bag lol. The recliners are super comfortable but every now and then you'll get one with a bad head rest that's scratched up a bit but it won't bother you throughout the movie. The restrooms are always clean and the theatre itself is always clean. I highly recommend coming to Cinepolis on your movie outing!

The seats are dated, but we usually enjoy coming here because it's not very crowded. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today, it was packed. The lovely lady who helped us, Sidnee, did a wonderful job. She was friendly and attentive, but the food service was very disorganized. I received three pizzas that were not gluten-free, even though I specifically requested gluten-free. My sister's order didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after mine, while my husband's food came before the movie even started. My biggest concern is the food handling. For sanitary reasons, I don't like that staff will place an order on one person's tray, ask if it's theirs, and then, if they say no, pick it up and hand it to someone else. Once food has been placed in front of another guest, it shouldn't be passed to someone else. That practice feels unsanitary and unprofessional. Despite the food issues, we enjoyed the movie. I would definitely come back because we like the theater, but I'll probably skip ordering food until I see improvements in the food service and order accuracy.
