    Mexican Mochas

We wanted to try out a new coffee place this morning and The Koffee Kup did not disappoint! Currently they are only doing curbside, however when we pulled up someone greeted us and gave us some insights into the menu. After they explained the Mexican Mocha we were both sold! Espresso with Abuelitas and cinnamon was an absolute delight. We were very impressed with how friendly everyone was, how quick the service was, and how good the coffee was. We will absolutely be back and would most definitely recommend you swing by and give them a try!

Family owned and great vibe in here!! They had some speciality drinks so we tried the horchata latte (which is nondairy) and tres leches latte. Both were delicious! Also got a ham and cheese kolache that was filled and had great flavor. Will definitely be back!

Coffee was very good. I had an iced latte and my husband had a hot latte. They were both very smooth and delicious. I had a fruit kolache and my husband had a meat kolache. It was good. The staff was very friendly. Fantastic breakfast experience.

Amazing Coffee: being not a huge fan of coffee, this place amazed me by making me lover their Mexican Mocha coffee so much that I bought 2nd in large (16 oz) size. Do try this if you happen to visit.

I love coffee, and I love this koffee kup shop. As soon as we drove up a server came out, even in the rain, and asked for our order. They were super welcoming and friendly. I loved my coffee and the extra espresso, which cost $1 extra, was absolutely worth it! The barbacoa inside the kolache was very tasty, and the kolache came out warm and the bread tasted great. I am very glad we made it to this coffee shop!!

When you're full from your breakfast or brunch excursion at one of the restaurants next door, waddle into The Koffee Kup Company for your post-eating brew. The AC was out during my visit but spirits were high in this tiny shop. The barista, whose name I did not catch, informed us they'd been open for about 4 months now. She also made polite chit chat, asking what our favorite local spots were, her plans for the outdoor patio area (poetry!!), etc. The coffee is delicious, and their menu looks promising. Knowing full well they are surrounded by restaurants, they only keep a small pastry selection like cookies and muffins. I absolutely love the interior. It reminds me of my grandma's house (probably due to the lack of AC, lol) and I fell in love with the typewriter. I would like to stop by again and try the cortado, and also enjoy the cafe when it's a bit cooler both inside and out. Overall, a promising spot fo sho!

A small coffee house BIG on charm!

To me a place can be sleek, divey, shabby chic or whatever it wants to be. If it has personality or corazon it will win me over every time. The Koffee Kup which opened up many years back only to close is back again, has all those qualities. I just worry how Pancake Joe's proximity to it will affect foot traffic coming in here? At any rate I really like its new incarnation. It's small and intimate. With tables and chairs a bit mismatched but still adds to the charm of this place. There is a small counter where you place your order with a menu hand written on paper. Again everything in this place is done simply with just the right amount of heart. I looked at the menu(they brew coffeehouse standards, specialities and carry some pastries) at really reasonable prices, I might add and settled on a freshly brewed coffee. This is the part where other places either diverge or exchange a gorgeous decor for comfortabilty. In my opinion once a place finds its identity milieu can come thereafter. The owner/barista really sells this place with excellent service and an attention to detail. For example the mason jars on tables with LED lit candles, the vintage typewriter and the big ceramic mugs ala "Alice In Wonderland" spoke volumes. I would remiss if I didn't include how the coffee was, it was really good. Sure there's an art to making that elusive perfect cup of coffee to which very few have mastered. The Koffee Kup adds to that quest with a small coffeehouse big on charm. If you're looking for a place where the barista's moustache has a Twitter account, therefore it's hip this is not that kinda place. Instead good coffee and excellent service are its brand, the pillars of any place reintroducing itself to the community. Now if I could only learn to brew a decent cup of coffee myself but then again "Rome wasn't built in a day."

Listen up coffee people, whether you're a die hard coffee fan or new to the coffee scene and trying to navigate your way through the plethora of espresso beverages, this place is for you. For those of us who are ready to choke someone if we don't have our good cup of coffee, this is new place you should visit. The have the standard espresso drinks plus some really good new drinks (the Mexican Mocha and the Cuban) you should definitely try. I went for my usual, a cortado plus a latte but then my arm was twisted to try The Cuban. The Cuban is for you. It's a bottom layer of brown sugar that is then mixed with espresso and then a layer of steamed milk added on top . This was freaking amazing. Not too sweet, just perfect with the espresso being the star and the brown sugar and milk only complimenting it. While sipping on this magnificent cup of joe, the owner, who by the way, was super friendly, told me about the Mexican Mocha. Now, if you're barely getting into the espresso drinks scene (and even if you're not) and scared to try something, this concoction is for you. It's an espresso drink with mild and it's sweetened with a square of Chocolate Abuelita. Yes, you read that right. CHOCOLATE ABUELITA! Talk about a mochasm! Really glad to see new, independent coffee places popping up. Especially coffee shops that are this good.

I'm sad. I expected more!! The reason I came here was because of the reviews. Yes, both customer service and coffee were good but the food was not what I was hoping for. I believe the food items are bought frozen and thawed. Packaged and processed. I'd come back just for coffee. Oh yeah, check in before ordering to save 10% off your order.

What a quaint, little coffee shop. The service was fast and friendly. I asked the barista for a recommendation for a beverage, and noted that I don't like super sweet drinks. She recommended the agave iced latte and it was heavenly. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. It's the espresso, milk, agave syrup, and a dash of cinnamon. If you like ice, be sure to ask for extra ice. They are pretty light on theirs, but hey, you get more of the delicious nectar of the gods without it. The ambiance is cozy and familiar. There are books and fresh flowers on the tables and local art on the walls. Their kolaches are tasty! Can't wait to come back to try something new.

We were waiting for another place so we have this place a try. They are curbside only, so it helps to order ahead of time. The staff was very courteous and nice. Our kolaches were very soft and airy, with a fresh taste. My favorite was the barbacoa kolache, but the strawberry kolache was fantastic too. My wife ordered a caramel iced macchiato, and she loved it. Definitely worth it!

Hot chocolate with a giant poptart on a wire spool table. Very delicious!
    Philip T.

Small tight space with an interesting restaurant theme. I ordered a hot chocolate with a kolache and vegan poptart. Hot chocolate was made with Mexican chocolate and the poptart tasted homemade; the kolache was delicious but didn't seem anything out of the ordinary. The poptart was amazing though: nice and flaky, thick creamy frosting, and mixed berry insides. Next time, I'll probably try a panini but definitely a poptart for sure.

Rich delicious coffee w cream. Amazing depth of flavor yet so smooth.

Bright, with all of its windows and natural light, is well, bright during the day. The staff is really excellent here, just like at NoFi, being super friendly and welcoming. My girlfriend grabbed their Ube Latte while I opted for the Banana Milk Latte, which I had never heard of before and which was super fun to try. It's a super unique flavor for a latte but excellent. I've had many different fruits in my coffee, from blueberries to oranges, but I have never considered bananas to be in the range of opportunities. Bright has opened my third eye to this concept. All their house-made beans from Perdido are top-tier. They also had really cute espresso and pour-over Comfort Color shirts that I had to grab while I was visiting. I also really love the subtle smiley face they add to all their hot to-go cups. There's plenty of space between each seat inside Bright so it never feels crowded even when it's packed. There's also tons of locally-made art on the wall, which really makes Bright exist like a piece of the community. They are hands-down one of the best coffee shops in the area and worth going out of your way for if you don't have time for NoFi. RIYL: Minion coffee

They offer varying levels of sweetness, so everyone has the opportunity to dial in the beverage to their liking. They offer all the traditional coffee house staples as well, but I haven't personally tried any of those and can't speak to their quality. Prices are comparable to other coffee chains in the area. Ambient noise level inside the cafe was low and would be a well suited location to get some work done or study, several patrons seemed to be doing so. They offer WiFi, and the Verizon 5G signal was very strong inside. This location is a part of the Tripoint complex, shared with the D.R. Semmes Family YMCA and Trinity Baptist Church. Definitely worth stopping by for your caffeine fix after a workout if you're already in the area, but probably not a location I would come to for just the coffee. Things worth knowing ahead of time: They offer a drive through in you're in a hurry or stopping by on your way to work. Their restrooms are located just outside of the cafe area and shared by the church they share the building with.

Nice and creamy, and not watery. A very top notch standard cortado. The purple haze tasted like relaxing on the beach. It even had little bits of dried ube on top, like a little purple sandy beach.
