Extremely Unprofessional Treatment of Customers…read more Based on the video circulating on social media, the way these customers were treated was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The customers apparently decided they did not want the food and had not eaten or touched it, yet employees/management appeared to insist that they pay for it and threatened to call the police when they attempted to leave. What made the situation even worse was someone following the customers toward the door, allegedly calling them names such as "thugs" and "thieves." That kind of language has no place in a restaurant, especially when dealing with customers who are trying to leave without causing a confrontation. If the customers did not eat the food or take possession of it, there were much better ways to handle the situation. Management could have simply taken the food back, explained the policy calmly, and avoided escalating the situation. I wasn't personally there, so I'm basing this review on what is shown in the publicly circulating video. However, the behavior shown was enough for me to say that I would not feel comfortable spending my money at this establishment. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their race, appearance, or whether there is a disagreement over an order. Threats, insults, and confrontational behavior are not the way to handle a customer-service dispute.
