The Lash Lounge in Encinitas was a great lash experience for me! I've had my lashes done before and they were super wirey and uncomfortable. They weighed my actual lashes down and made me uninterested in ever getting them done again. So I decided to give the whole eyelash extension thing another try and the Lash Lounge completely changed my perspective on them. Karla was my stylist. She was super sweet and friendly. She explained each step of the process was as we were going. She also explained the different types of sets and lashes they had available. I got a more curled lash but she still made them look natural. I have smaller eyes so I got the "classic" look which was perfect for me. The manager, Hannah, was also great helping my book my appointment there. She was very informative on the amount of time of the session and what to do before and after. I went in for a lash lift and tint in the afternoon. It was really easy to schedule an appointment and my lash girl was very nice, however, by the next morning my lashes were pin straight again as if I never did the lash lift. I have done at least 8-10 lash lifts before in my life, (at other locations) so I am familiar with requires aftercare and how my lashes respond. It was also much more expensive than other places I've been and there was an up charge for a "senior stylist". However I live in north county so location was why I wanted to try this spot out. Ive reached out to them in which they offered a fix however per my research, processing my lashes just days later would actually just damage them. Not usually one to leave reviews but for this much money ($143 + $20 tip) I would really hope we are getting the service we paid for. read more

Waste of $100+ for the worst lash lift experience and results ever. Tech had 2-inch long talons and trying to work with those so close to someone's eyes/lashes doesn't put anyone at ease. Checkout lady in front forced me to tip and when I was giving slightly below 20% by $1, she took out her calculator and changed the tip amount by adding the additional $1. My lashes aren't difficult to curl and I've had beautiful ones for many years with one lady but she moved to Hawaii. The search for a good lash lift continues. read more

I made an appointment and the lady named Carrie i think, did a. great job she is very calm and very professional and listen what i want to achieve and i am very happy for what she did. EPIC FAIL! I went in as a new brand new lash client. Looking for a lash tint and possibly a lash lift. I have very long natural lashes but they are blonde and quite straight. They told me they have an opening with a "Master lash artist" They charge $20 extra because the Master lash artist has more experience. I was happy to spend the extra money for someone who has more experience. Welp.....needless to say my lashes turned out HORRIBLE. I'm just going to post photos so you can see for yourself. She straight up RUINED my lashes. Either they are over processed or the lift was done incorrectly. FAR from the SUBTLE effect I asked for... I understand mistakes happen but there was ZERO consultation. She didn't ask me any questions other than "Have you used a lash curler before"? I don't think she even evaluated my lashes before starting the process. I feel like I was "practiced" on. Really hard to believe this was an experienced lash artist. I've been in the health and beauty industry for over 30 years. I know a pro when I experience one. I went back in first thing the next day, they happily refunded my money because it was OBVIOUS the service was an EPIC FAIL. The lash artist did not apologize or try to fix the botched procedure... This seems to be a high volume lash studio, so it's very possible my crappy outcome was luck of the draw. However, I waited 30 minutes in the lobby until finally the receptionist had to go tell the artist her client was there, I did not get a receipt (I paid in cash) The artist never walked me out after my treatment like the other artists did with their clients. The sanitary paper on the table appeared not to have been cleaned (I gave benefit of the doubt thinking it may just be stained?) my eyes were burning during the entire process. (It was OBVIOUS as my eyes were watering profusely) My artist never asked if I was doing okay. Just an all around poor service. I hope she was just having an off day because if this is the quality of work she does regularly, she needs more training. Needless to say I do NOT recommend this place and I will certainly never go there again. read more

That is not true. They fell out in a week. I was traveling at the time and had to get them done AGAIN before a crucial meeting. When I did get back, I sent you photos of my lashes as you asked me to. Yes, you offered to come back in but why would I do that if they fell out in one week? I choose not to, and you got my money. I have told several people about you. I love this place! Kaitlyn is my fav but I have used other artists. They know what they are doing. They are so gentle and do amazing work. I have been to a few other places where they claim to glue 1 to 1 but then end up gluing a few natural lashes and they get pulled out. I came here to get my lashes and brows done for my wedding a few weeks ago. Good lash experience but (by far) the worst brow experience of my life. So the good... my lashes were great! In the past I sometimes think that they are too much but was pleasantly surprised by my finished lashes. I also appreciated that before they started they asked what shape and length I wanted. They were also much easier to maintain then the ones I have had previously. Other ones I have gotten get out of place frequently and I have had to brush them out a couple of times a day to get them to stay in place. However, these lashes stayed with little to no maintenance. And then the (really) bad... I have been getting my brows and upper lip threaded every few weeks for years. I have never had a single issue with the variety of salons I have used. However, my stylist (Zera) did not seem to know exactly how to do threading. She did not seem to be getting any hairs. She tried three times and each time it was just as terrible as the last. I finally said "This isn't working." I then went into the bathroom saw how terrible my face looked (she managed to get no hairs but made my skin incredibly irritated and red- see attached pictures). Since my wedding was in less than two days at this point, I started panicking and calling other salons desperately looking for an appointment. Luckily, Zera and the women working at the front got another stylist come in who then did a great job. So final product was good but the process getting there was pretty upsetting. Overall, I liked my lashes but would not be going back because of the terrible job that was done on my brows. Also consider taking the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt. They have signs in the facility that offer 30% off any service if you leave a positive review. read more
