I had to get my lash refilled last minute. So I decided to call in, and they picked up my phone call right away. I was able go book an appointment the day of! The receptionist was very friendly, and my lash stylist was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions pertaining to keep my lashes healthy. I cannot recommend The Lash Lounge enough. I got my lashes done (full set with volume) before going to Park City for a bachelorette party and France for a week ski trip. I put them through snowstorms, champagne showers and steam rooms and they didn't even budge. I went a few days longer than normal for a refill and everyone was surprised I needed a refill already because my lashes still looked so full. The staff is also incredibly nice and makes sure you're comfortable from check-in to signing out. The Lash Lounge is amazing! I see Odalys at the Mueller location and have no complaints! She does great work. From the second you walk in to the second you leave the experience is so great and welcoming. Noelle, the owner, really cares about everyone who walks in and her staff are always so welcoming. I go every two weeks and pay for the volume refills. I also pay $99 a month for the membership which covers two regular fills... since I do volume refills I pay $18 more each time plus tip so only about $135 per month plus tip. They also do eyelash tinting which is great for my light lashes. Love this place! Great atmosphere. read more

Very disappointed. I had made an appointment a day or so beforehand, and shortly before I needed to leave to be able to get there in time on the day of my appointment, I received a text saying my appointment had been cancelled. I called the salon and was sent to voicemail, so I left a message, and then tried calling again shortly after. I got a hold of a human the second time, and they told me my appointment was still scheduled and to ignore the message saying it was cancelled. I live a fair distance away so I didn't want to start heading there until I knew if I still had an appointment or not, and after the time it took to contact them, I had to rush to leave. I'm not from the area, so I got turned around a couple times on my way there which added a few minutes onto my travel time. The salon actually called me while I was enroute and I explained the situation and the person on the phone asked me my ETA. I looked at my GPS which said 5 minutes and relayed this to her. She said that was fine. I arrived and parked right out front, took a photo of the parking meter so that I could pay that once I got inside, and I kid you not, AS I was opening the salon door and walking inside, I got a text saying my appointment was cancelled for being late and I was being charged me $50 deposit. I was physically standing at the counter at this time. The receptionist said there was nothing she could do, and asked if I wanted to reschedule, but that my $50 deposit could not be put towards another appointment. I got the business card of the manager and have emailed her multiple times (at least 3) over the past week explaining what happened and I included screenshots of the texts and emails saying my appointment was cancelled as well as my card being charged, with no response from her whatsoever. I really wanted to find a new lash salon after moving here; my lashes curl all the way around themselves and poke my eyelids which causes me discomfort and worse, so I have to get them corrected as opposed to a typical lash lift. I would have been more than happy to give this place another try if my original deposit could have been moved to a future appointment, but I guess they just don't care about individual customers enough to even contact them back to let them know. So this is just a word of warning to anyone who doesn't live close to the salon in case you also get an apparently erroneous text that your appointment has been cancelled even when it hasn't, and then are refused any accommodations when you rush to get there and are physically turned away and then your attempts to contact management are ignored afterwards. read more

Easy scheduling however the quality of lash application and artistry is lower than other popular salons in Austin. I'm a lash extension wearer of 10 years and switched here because of location. Pros: no accidental pulling or tugging during the application process, use of eye pads, knee bolster and comfy tables, price. Cons: precision of application, speed of lash artist, lower lash tape is quite adhesive and painful, and quality of the silks used is lower than other Austin salons (they look synthetic and if that's the case then my lash artist ignored my request). Also, the low number of lashes applied during a 1 hour session was the most surprising aspect. I left the appointment much less full than have leaving other salons. I'm rooting for you Lash Lounge but so far you're falling short. read more

This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and now i'm not sure I can live without them... Kim I, who is one of the new lash techs, did Volume Full Set with silk lashes on me this past Saturday. She was absolutely phenomenal. She walked me through the whole process, made sure I was comfortable at all times and was meticulous with lash placement. The whole appointment was done in less than 2 hours (which I was super impressed with). Jennifer, who was at the front desk, was super helpful and welcoming. The facility was very clean and everyone was wearing masks. When I first arrived my temperature was taken and I was questioned regarding any COVID related symptoms. You can tell this place is well ran with friendly, committed staff. It is now Monday, 2 days since lash application, and not a single lash has fallen out. I was really excited to try a lash lift for the first time especially with the trainer Nicole however I was extremely disappointed with the service and how I was treated. My appointment was scheduled during a training for a new technician which was fine. I was very surprised though when I described what look i would like and what i really did not want and the trainer Nicole didn't seem clear. How could the trainer not know how to consult with a first time client? I continued to explain that I wanted my eyelashes to fan out and not a tight curl, not straight back touching my lids, what i call doll eyelashes. She proceeded to tell me I have short eyelashes and would be happy with a smaller pad. When the process was complete I looked in the mirror and was not able to see all that clearly since i had to remove and then reapply my contacts. It was blurry but I could definitely see that my eye lashes in the center of my right eye were bent at a sharp angle and that the lashes were curled back onto my eyelid and pointing towards the center of my face. I did not think it was flattering at all. Nicole attempted to fix the bent lashes by brushing them and i asked if they would relax so they weren't so curled. She said they would stay like that for 8 weeks. I left the salon and wanted to get a better look at them once my eyes cleared up. After getting home and taking a more clear look at them I was really upset. They looked exactly how I said I did not want them to look AND there was that spot right in the middle of my right eye that was bent AND they were pointing inward AND hitting my eyelid. It looked terrible. I contacted the salon and Nicole told me to wash them several times and let them air dry and that in a week i could come back in and see what she could do to fix them. She also said i could see if putting mascara on them would get them into the shape I wanted. I had my daughter's birthday the next day and so i needed to wear eye make up. When I did so, they clumped up from the curl and exaggerated the unflattering inward pointing direction. The worst! I contacted the salon and left a voicemail message saying that i was very very upset about the service i received, remembering that Nicole told the trainee that the owner cares very much about the clients. I never received a call back from anyone at the salon. I came to my scheduled appointment the next week (I had to wear my eyelashes like that for a week so as not to damage them by processing them again too soon). No one, not even Nicole apologized for the work (eyelashes curled back so tight on themselves they bumped into my eyelid crease and the bend and the inward pointing eyelash direction) or for the inconvenience i had to come back in again for the service to correct her work. In fact, i was met very coolly by Nicole and the front desk staff. Nicole ended up using a larger pad to place my eyelashes on so my eyelashes would fan out the way I wanted from the beginning. The ones on the inner corner still point inward but frankly with the way i was being treated and the very sensitive and vulnerable area of treatment (my eyes) I just wanted to move on. I don't know if I'll ever try a lash lift again but if I do it will not be at this salon. read more
