I never do bad reviews but this was necessary. I had an appointment for a hybrid full set a couple weeks ago. Total same out to $200 with tip even with their new customer promotion. They charged an extra $30 fee because it was a senior stylist doing the lashes. That was fine with me, I had a wedding to attend and wanted to have my lashes done without having to do my own. I showed the lady the exact lashes I wanted, and I showed her how full I wanted them, she said she could do that. It turned out to be the biggest disappointment. The falsies I do myself look better and fuller than my 200 dollar appointment. Right after my appointment I got a really awful irritation and within 5 days 70% of my lashes were gone. My eyes were bloodshot for a week. I got a text from the Lash lounge asking how I liked the service, and I replied with my concerns and of course they never replied. They didn't even offer to remove them or fix the concern. This was the most underwhelming and awful experience. Never coming back lol. I booked this place in a rush since their google rating is 4.7 stars it pushed them to the top of the search. I've never gotten my lashes done before. She didn't even fill my lashes all way, the corners are like missing... I can see lashes that don't even have extensions on them. My lashes are sparse I honestly look like I need a fill and I got them done yesterday. They aren't dense enough. The 'consultation' before laid down felt rushed and I didn't get the results I showed her. The vibes in the place were just... off? First visual impressions were not appealing. Did NOT feel like a professional salon where you would spend $200+ on lashes. Really hoping the retention of my lashes is at least decent considering how much I spent on them. The only reason I go here is literally the convenience and proximity to my house. The customer service is garbage. They constantly text me to cancel or reschedule my appointment with minimal notice and I am just supposed to deal with it and accommodate to whatever situation they have. But the one time I called with 3 hour's notice to try to reschedule they told me they would charge me full price for my appointment. meanwhile saying they were 'turning phone calls away all day' so it sounds like they could have easily filled the appointment... But when they same day cancel on me I'm just supposed to deal with it. Do not get their membership! In any attempt to cancel you are going to be charged for 2 months and be told that you can use that amount of money towards future services or products. Unbelievably awful customer service and quite possibly the WORST treatment I've received from a business in my life. Let me start off by saying I NEVER write reviews because I'm very easy going, pretty easily satisfied, and simply don't have the time in my busy schedule... however, I feel compelled to in this scenario as I am baffled at what's become of this... For context, I signed up for the top tier membership on my first visit. I wanted to find my regular "lash girl" after moving to Point Loma and liked the idea of the membership so I signed up immediately, thinking it would make my life easier... boy was I wrong! I went in to have my lashes done for my wedding day. I was coming back after a fill I'd had done previously and wanted the look replicated. I showed very clear photos as to what I desired for the outcome. Veronica, the "expert" technician (who I paid the up charge for), took one quick glance at the photo and proceeded to work. I assumed her lack of comments/questions regarding the photo, insinuated she knew exactly what she was doing. When she finished, I was completely taken back because the lashes looked NOTHING like the example I provided... but I didn't want to make a stink or cause a hassle so I paid, tipped and went home. After returning home, my fiancé said, "What happened? I thought you were getting your lashes done." It then set in the lash job was completely unsatisfactory and looked as though I didn't have anything done (mind you, I was supposed to leave with "mega volumes") and my fiancé pointed out that they didn't look much different than my natural lashes. I then called the front desk and spoke to Amani to express my concern and the fact that my wedding was just TWO days away and that this was unacceptable. She kindly looked for a solution, but the best she could offer me was a "free fix" all the way in Encinitas THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING when I'm scrambling to get a million things done. I cleared hours out of my day to get the fix done, and it actually looked great, so I was happy and relieved, despite the inconvenience. The Encinitas location assured me they would put detailed notes in my profile as to what lash curl & length was used, so when I returned to Point Loma for the fill, there would be no further confusion. Fast forward to my upcoming fill appointment... I called to ensure the notes were there and that there would be no confusion this time, and the front desk informed me there were no notes after my visit in Encinitas!!! They then proceeded to take it upon themselves to cancel my fill appointment along with my membership without even so much as a phone call. When I called to speak with Cait, the manager, I got the run around from the front desk on four separate follow up phone calls as to why she could not speak with me. Safe to say, this has been the WORST customer service I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They don't do lashes well and they treat paying customers HORRIBLY. New to lash extensions but experience has not been a good one. On My first visit there was a couple lashes poking my eye that was bothering me- but since I was new, I thought it was normal. I decided to rebook a second time and give it more of a chance to get used to. I understand lash fallout occurs within the same week, but it shouldn't be on the same day of your appointment- esp when you are advised not to wet your lashes for 24 hrs. My photo is SAME day fallout in one eye within a few hours for a hybrid refill. Spare yourself the time and money and do research before booking. All my lashes have fallen out and I only got them done 1 week ago. Let me clarify- all my lashes out of my right eye! I called and the customer service was ridiculous. I don't like writing these lower than average reviews but I hope this feedback will help improve their services. I heard about Lash Lounge through a mutual friend during a time that I was looking for a new lash artist since my regular gal moved out of state. They have multiple locations that are convenient to both my work and home and they're open everyday. All great for a full-time working mom. Although, it'd be nice if someone picked up the phone. It always goes to voicemail and who has the time to play phone tag these days? Unfortunately, after trying multiple times in different locations for the past two months with different lash artists I've been consistently disappointed with how their work holds up. I'm giving them two stars because although they have a pretty salon and seemingly sanitary conditions, my lashes only hold up for about 2 days. After which time they look like lopsided disasters. As pictured, after 2 days, my right eye lost most all of the lashes on one end and my left lost a big chunk from the center. I've been getting volume lashes for the past year. And they always last on average at least 2 weeks. The difference I noticed here is that whenever I lose one extension it leaves a big void. When I paid closer attention, I realized that their extensions always had 5 or more lashes attached. There was once when an extension fell out I counted 9 lashes attached to it. Makes sense now why only after two days I already look like I need a fill. Another main difference I noticed at this salon, is that their artists don't place extensions on every lash. At my previous salon, I remember my gal always taping back the extensions so that she can see my remaining natural lashes and continue placing extensions on those. Also at the most the extensions had 3 to 4 lashes. That's why whenever I lost an extension I never looked like I had a huge void. Looking at my lashes now I would say the extensions are placed only on 50% of my lashes instead of 100% them as I was accustomed to at my old salon. Regretfully, I will be canceling my membership and continuing my search for a good volume lash artist. read more

I have never been treated in such an undignified manner. The technician, Veronica, may have been experienced and talented, but she exhibited no professionalism in her behavior during my visit today. She did not listen to my concerns, and failed to communicate before dousing my face with cleaner and water despite my pleas to sparingly clean my lashes since I had a work event immediately following the appointment. After she removes all of my eye makeup, she then says she is doing her job and tells me I can reschedule. At this point, after 2 weeks almost all of the eyelashes were gone and my face was already a mess that I at least needed the eye lashes to look okay for the video teleconference. So, I chose not to reschedule and to proceed. I did not want her to touch me any further, though. It was not a good situation to be in - it was the better of the 2 bad circumstances. She treated me less than a human being should ever be treated. She had no regard for my feelings, or her impact on my schedule and my life at all. I felt very hurt, very violated, and very humiliated as a result of her actions. It is not okay. I immediately cancelled my membership. I will never, ever return. read more

Went here before my trip to Europe and got thee most amazing lashes done here by Jenna. She was super sweet and knew exactly what to do. I got a classic full set. I told her I wanted a natural look but also wanted them to be noticeable. They turned out so well. I also upgraded to the mink lashes. They're much better quality and not much more - def worth it. I wish zero stars was an option. The lash lounge will scam you out of your money and give you the worst lashes you've ever received. They practically force you to sign up for a membership, they have absolutely insane prices to begin with and use the membership to make it seem more reasonable. Then they make it near impossible to cancel, and provide terrible service once you've signed up as a member. I have gotten my lashes done for years and when I moved to California, I wanted a trustworthy place for lash extensions. I had a full set done by a Lash Lounge artist but when I went in. for a fill, One of the other technicians said these were the worst lashes they have ever seen and had to do a removal because there was no way that they could comfortably or safely apply new lashes. I had allergic reactions to the lashes and they clumped and looked absolutely absolutely horrible and I thought something was wrong. So when I went in for the fill, I wasn't surprised that she said these things I have received no help or refunds from management and would caution anybody who thinking about getting their lashes done here. read more

My total time was 1 hour 15 minutes for 2 procedures and it cost wait for it- $304.00! No extensions. All me. The tint did not take on some of my brows (so grey hairs here and there and she missed inner lashes on one eye. When I waked out I noticed tiny under my eyes so I walked back in to face it removed. This morning it appeared like I had done nothing to my eyes. The manager listed all of the instructions I was supposed to follow but I had already done that. It hasn't even been 24 hours. There was not anything I could do to really mess it up. I did not shower. I did not wet them. I did brush them everything they said, but it did not take I reached out to the lash lounge first to rectify and credit anything back to my account. I also submitted photo. They refused. Im giving this place a one star because unfortunately I have to. I went in yesterday at 1pm and had a full set of classic lashes applied. I woke up this morning and all but 4 lashes have fallen out on my right eye. As a licensed esthetician myself that is trained in lash extensions I know that this is NOT NORMAL. I called the phone number and spoke to a girl named Courtney who seemed barely interested in my concerns and passed me off to the store in Point Loma where I spoke to a receptionist named Shay. She was very fake-sounding on the phone and kept cutting me off with an overly bubbly annoying "Okaaaay" I asked to speak to the manager and she continued to respond to me with the same disingenuous tone interrupting me mid sentence and handling the call with basically an I-could-care-less attitude. I have requested a full refund and a call form the manager. I have also emailed the owner. Hopefully they will follow through. I do have to note as a fellow beauty business owner I really hate having to write this review but it is important to train your staff to respond to clients in an appropriate and professional manner, not like they are chit-chatting with a girlfriend. They valley girl voices are annoying and scream untrained staff. Absolutely love getting my lashes done here by my favorite girl Kyrra! She always get me right! She knows exactly what I like and what suits my eye shape and face, I am never disappointed when I leave here. Love how clean this place is, plenty of parking. The lash beds are super comfortable and Kyrra does such a great job of making sure things are set to my liking so that I am relaxed and comfortable the whole time I'm there. Before seeing her, I never really knew much about having lashes or how to take care of them but Kyrra did a really good job helping me with that. My visit today was amazing 50% of the time and let's just say not so amazing the other half. I had a scheduled refill at 10:00 AM today with Erika. I arrived and the receptionist informed me that she would be a few minutes late. Unfortunately it wasn't just a few minutes, it was 45 minutes. When Erika arrived and started filling my lashes I could tell she was doing a great job! I knew she was very meticulous and had a great eye for eye shape and what lashes suit me best. The whole process took about 2 hours, that's 20 minutes longer than my initial set that I received from here. I knew she was doing quality work. However, time management came into play again. I informed the receptionist I had an appointment following this one somewhere else, and it was followed up with what I felt was attitude. While I was getting my lashes filled, Erika asked me if I was on a time crunch and I also informed her of my appointment at 1:30. I know this is probably because she does amazing work, but my session lasted until 1:45, making me late to my following appointment. I'm aware that it's stated that fills can last up to 2-3 hours, but when I called the day prior they informed me it would most likely only take 1-2 hours. I absolutely love my lashes and am a member of Lash Lounge Point Loma, but I was really disappointed by the customer service today. An extra 45 minute wait with only a few "oh sorry" doesn't make me feel like I'm a valued customer. In addition, there were other lash estheticians present during my 45 minute wait, but the manager Alena told the receptionist to just wait for Erika. I would have appreciated being taken in by another lash esthetician if it were closer to my actual appointment time or even being offered a discount for the additional time I spent there just on my phone waiting. So overall, AMAZING LASHES and ehhhh okay customer service UPDATE: The manager Alena and Holly the owner both reached out to me and offered a complimentary fill for my lashes. I truly appreciated the gesture and they had apologized for everything. After this all of my lash stylists have been punctual and have done a wonderful job. I'd especially like to say that Jerry, the receptionist on tuesdays is so wonderful. She is the kindest and warmest. read more

I too really wanted to like this place. The staff, including the manager are all nice. My first set were pretty fab. Done by Cece. They offer you a complimentary fill for new customers. The 2nd set were even better, but there were issues with the gal not wearing a mask. I responded to an email asking about my experience and I received a call from the manager, she assured me the mask is part of the uniform , and offered a complimentary fill. At that point I decided to get the fill and sign up for a monthly fill because the first two sets were great. The manager states she knows it's been awhile since my last fill but wanted to make up for the experience with the unmasked staff. The next gal (who did not wear a mask either) finishes and tells me my left eye is fuller because my right eye had less lashes. Well I wasn't thrilled when I looked in the mirror and could see the difference. She should have given me the option to receive less lashes on the left eye ...... also The lashes on the right eye immediately began falling out, like I've NEVER before experienced. I've had lashes and know the do's and don't s in caring for them. I canceled my membership. I encourage the staff to provide an option of filling evenly , if it means less lashes than what's included in the fill, it's better than walking around with such a clearly unbalanced fill.
