I came here to wash a comforter. I had high expectations based on the reviews on this site but was disappointed. They only had 2 large capacity washers and both were occupied. Only 2 large capacity washing machines is definitely lacking. I ended up leaving after about 15 minutes to go to another laundromat 2 miles away that had 6 large capacity washing machines. read more

These so called people have no customer service skills. They lose clothes and then deny all knowledge they had them - even though the week before the guy was eyeing my shirts and asked about them and the following week they were lost. Make what you will of that. Too expensive because they send the clothes out so they are not really a dry cleaning place. There are always signs on some of the machines saying they are not working. The wifi is slower than dial up. Do yourself a favor and use the place at the front of Ansley mall by jimmy johns to do your dry cleaning they take much better care and don't lose things. read more

This place is my spot to wash. The guys that work here are so super friendly and they don't mind if you come in a little past the last wash time. The parking can be a little tight because the hide out is there and brush strokes is there so be mindful about washing on Friday and Saturday nights. The place and the machines are kept up and are clean and it cost about the same you would pay any where else. Give it a try. read more

It does seem a tad pricey ($2.25 per load, .25 per 7 minutes of dry time) but it is the best laundromat in town because of the location, safety, and amenities -- free wifi, plenty of magazines to browse, and in the middle of a shopping center that has a Publix, Blockbuster, Pier One and other shops to kill time in. So you may pay, what, a quarter or so more per load, but it's worth it. read more

Love this place. Attached to Ansley mall so you can go run errands and come back. Nobody bothers you, and they have good hours as well. Dfferent types of washer and dryers and you can leave a load there for a while and come back and it will be untouched. read more

Great Place! Haven't been in the area long, and have been to a few different laundries. No need to look for another new one now. This place has a ton of machines so you rarely need to wait and the staff is super friendly and helpful. A nice little sitting area with free coffee and WiFi is the cherry on top. Also they offer dry cleaning services if needed. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area. read more

I love The Laundry Lounge! Today was my first visit, and I was so impressed. First of all, It is located in a safe, well-monitored area (no worries, fellow single girls). The facility itself is cheery, clean and welcoming. There are plenty of machines and ample space to move around, with large folding tables. The woman working there was friendly and helpful. The seating area feels cozy and relaxing; I actually sat outside in a wooden rocking chair, and it was lovely. BEST of all, the dryers worked well! I've never been able to get my clothes dry in less than 50 minutes at any other laundromat, and the LL finally made it happen! All in all, it was outstanding. From this point forward, if I need a laundromat I will always use The Laundry Lounge. read more

Great place! In town on extended business and needed to do a week's worth of laundry. Nice facility, clientele, and staff. The staff even handed out free cans of soft drinks to patrons while I was there. Heard them offer a greeting and help to everyon who walked in. Clean, comfortable waiting area. I did coin but they also offer drop-off and dry cleaning. Visited a lot of coin ops on business trips and this one is the best yet. read more

This place was great! My wife and I hadn't been to a laundromat in years and needed to wash our sleeping bags in the big front loader machines. The guy on duty was very helpful and he really made our experience great. We both felt safe leaving our clothes there while we went to Starbucks and Publix (very convenient!). I've been doing my laundry at the Laundry Lounge since I moved into Atlanta six months ago and have had nothing but good experiences with the establishment. The location is very convenient for me and is surrounded by restaurants and grocery stores for you to maximize your time. If you don't feel like walking about waiting for your laundry the lounge has free WiFi for you to bust out a laptop and relax inside. They stay open until ten which is perfect for me as I generally do my laundry after work and I've never had to wait to use a washer or dryer. Convenient, cheap, open late, friendly staff. I love this place! I have been coming here for 12 years. I've moved around Atlanta many times and no matter how far I get from this laundromat, I don't mind the drive. Whenever I get behind laundry, it is faster to wash and dry at this place than using my own machines. I opened up a bed and breakfast last year. I cannot manage when my washer or dryer breakdown. But then I have this laundromat to go to and no matter how much laundry I have, their industrial size washers and dryers make it easy and not time consuming. This is a VERY clean laundromat. You won't get bored waiting because there is a lounge with sofa, arm chairs, tables, free coffee, vending machines and rocking chairs outside and it's located at Ansley Mall. I don't know of any laundromat in Atlanta that is as clean, comfortable and safe. I highly recommend this place! read more

Best Coin Laundry in Atlanta I've been to. It's Clean.. there's always someone nice and helpful on duty. It seems that laundry is more expensive in ATL than it is even in California..but the prices here are in line.. I tend to overload my machines.. so it doesn't always dry in just three quarters.. but the guy will point out his favorite dryers. Fluff and fold here is expensive. read more

The Laundry Lounge is awesome! The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. My roommates and I dropped off around 70lbs of laundry when our machine broke and they really hooked us up with a great price. Highly recommend!! Dry cleaning prices aren't bad either. read more

My wife and I have been patrons of the Laundry Lounge (which is poorly managed by a disrespectful, lazy, and belligerent man with redish blond hair, a mustache and glasses) about 3 times a month for over a year, always spending $30 or more a trip and because of that we recently found ourselves in one of the most ridiculous situations that we've ever had the misfortune to be involved in. If you have to spend that much the Laundry Lounge it is unavoidable that you will be engaged by this man. He tries to be friendly and start a conversation about what good customers you are, and how efficiently you work, and it will undoubtedly end in him making some type of blatant, uneducated statement about any number of inappropriate topics. As this didn't sit well with my wife and I we still continued to frequent and politely manage our way though the encounters as best as possible. We would even leave as soon as we put our clothes in the washer or dryer, only staying to fold, in efforts of avoiding his rants. We always read the posted last wash sign and made sure to respect the hours. Then one night came the most uncalled for behavior I've been unfortunate enough to witness in my adult life. We were running later than usual so we made sure to read the last wash hours on the way in. They read "last wash - 9:00pm". I looked at my cell phone and it said it was 8:15. We loaded up our clothes and left. We returned at 8:40 to put all of our stuff into dryers and set them to run for 42mins(has always been enough time to dry our clothes)... then we left again. We returned at 9:20 and began to fold. Checking all the dryers we found that one dryer hadn't even come close to drying load so we put it into a different dryer and put more money in. As we are folding we are meet by this man confiding in us his dismay about how people are continually posting bad things about him on the Internet... and how he just cant understand why. We continued to fold until 9:45 when I rechecked the load to find that it was still not dry. I then went to add another $.25 and this man begins yelling at me not to put anymore money in the dryer and begins to telling my wife to stop what she was doing and pack up and leave.... kicking us out, in the cold, with wet and unfolded laundry because his dryer didn't work correctly and because he didn't have the human decency and respect to wait or even engage in a rational conversation. He immediately lost his temper and began ranting about how "at 10 o'clock I'm my own man" and how "the clock on the wall is 10 minutes fast". Whining and cursing like a disturbed child. At this point he is completely irrational. This man should quite obviously not be allowed to work with the public. I didn't quite know how to react. I didn't know how to greet that kind of belligerents. At first we attempted to communicate. Possibly he didn't he didn't understand that we started our laundry almost an hour before his advertised "last wash" and the only reason the clothes were not dry was due to his faulty equipment. Perhaps he didn't realize how inconvenienced we already had been because of the defected dryer eating our time and money. So we tried to explain rationally and to no surprise that feel on deaf ears. When he began cursing at my wife she also lost her temper and began to pull the last of of our wet clothes out of the dryer and pull them out to the car (at this point the clock on the wall reads 9:53). I had to gather myself and in a very clam voice I told him he would not use that language with towards my wife, nor would he ever take our money or the money of anyone we know who has ever attended the place. I also suggested that if over 15 people had gone out of their way to post outrageous comments about him online... perhaps there was a reason. read more

I drive 5 miles to come to this laundry mat. It is always clean and fairly priced. I have also never seen an out of order sign since i have been coming here. It has an awesome little seating area where the owner has a ton of plants. There is free coffee (powdered stuff but whatever, thought that counts) read more

Don't really know how to rate a laundry mat- there were lots of washers I needed a really big one and there were only 2- "4 load" (from what I saw) $8, don't know if that's avg or not. I was ok with it. $3 for the double load washer which was smaller than the one I have at home so not sure how it's a double load. it was $3. Dryer is .25 cents for 7 minutes. Everything seemed clean and in working order. I liked the fact that there was visible staff on site able to help. In a nice shopping center so we were able to walk around and get a coffee, nails done, etc... Better than being in some random secluded area. read more

I've been to Laundry Lounge a couple of times now and I've had a good experience every time. This time in particular, I had a million errands to run and also needed to do laundry because I was going out of town the next day. I decided to call and ask about their wash- and- fold service. I spoke to Raymond and he was so nice and very accommodating to do a same day service since I was traveling the next day. I dropped off about 20 pounds of laundry and by the time I came back that day, he was already done! He even used Oxyclean on my whites because he said that they needed it. I'm so grateful for Raymond's work and he did a fantastic job! I will definitely continue to be a supporter of The Laundry Lounge! read more

When I moved in February it was the first time I would be living in a place without a washer and dryer. I was somewhat panic-stricken at the idea of trying to find a good laundromat. Yelp to the rescue. There is free wifi, lots of current magazines, and the convenience of Ansley Mall to run errands while your clothes are drying. The dryers are fantastic. It usually runs me about 3.25 to do a load of laundry--not at all terrible. read more

Excellent Customer Service. The cleanest, well maintained laundry facility in Atlanta. Great atmosphere. The workers are friendly and very helpful, they acknowledge you when you come in and carry on great conversations. Although i don't drink coffee they have Free coffee, huge magazine selection. Ive never had to visit a laundromat until today, and I am Glad the laundromat I chose to visit was Laundry Lounge. The gentleman there, Raymond, was as friendly as friendly could possibly be. His customer service was superb, and he was sublimely helpful. When he was not helping myself & others I saw him cleaning up which made me feel great about this laundromats cleanliness. The wifi was awesome. I got some much needed work done w/no interruptions. The dryers did not even take 30 minutes to dry my items, which I had a lot. I was in & out in under an hour & a 1/2 w/the equivalent of 4 loads of clothes washed, dried & folded. If I needed to visit a laundromat again, it would Definitely be this one. read more

I came across this place when my washer failed last week. It was pretty busy but I still managed to get a couple washers. They have a nice area where you can sit and wait. I got on their wifi and rocked in a rocking chair while eating my Publix sub. The man working came around and offered everyone a coke from the machine. How awesome is that! I've decided that even though my washer is now fixed, I will still be bringing my dry cleaning here! read more

I had to chuckle at the rare negative review I read for this Laundromat. I have done my laundry here for 43 years (a month longer than I have known my partner) and cannot say enough good things about it. We bought a house almost 39 years ago, and I still use this Laundromat, driving 5-6 miles across town every two weeks to use 5-7 washers and 5-8 dryers to wash two people's laundry for those two weeks. When I began, I was 29 and now I am 72; but why would I want to use one dinky home washer and dryer when I can quickly do so much at one time in a clean, pleasant environment staffed by friendly efficient staff? Unlike home, if something breaks, I can just move to the next machine (and get a free start from staff). The machines are regularly updated and are the kind of water and energy efficient ones I want to use. Yes, I remember using a washer that cost 25 cents back in the 60s, and my annual income was about $4000. then too. Atlanta has high water costs, as it should, and I like being able to drive to one place and use their new efficient machines while I shop for groceries (at Kroger or Publix) and do other errands at Ansley Mall. The hours open are kept updated on their own website, but of course other sites, such as this one, are slower to keep up with changes. If you are an occasional user, it is wise to phone ahead. read more

It's fine here. It's a harmless situation. The troublesome individual people had remarks about is gone, I think the owner was opening his heart to employ a person who was in need of opportunity. Anyway, the owner and his longtime assistant, a very friendly older woman are nice and very decent people. I think all the posters on here should realize the completely thankless nature of working in a laundry mat. I am grateful this business is here. No, they're not always customer friendly, but most times, I'm not stranger-friendly either. If they close up and leave, then, we will be left with the usual scary places to do laundry. Everyone should bring these people sweets, greeting cards, and smiles before they pack up and leave, and there we are 'missing them'. We complain too much, we need this laundry mat. This community, needs this laundry mat. Look around and see how many businesses in the area are gone for good. You aren't doing anyone a favor by washing here, but you are doing your community a favor by patronizing this business. I've seen more random acts of kindness here than 'hurt feelings'. Nobody's perfect, not me, not you. Be nice, be strong, be forgiving, be open, be 'real'.
