Rude workers, they don't empty the machines and give you an attitude for asking to empty a machine even when they see you've been waiting for 10+ mins for a machine. Nasty machines with hair in them, not clean and extremely overcrowded. I would go down the block to the other laundromats

    Very quiet in the mornings.

Update: in the entire 3 years I've lived in Queens and this place has been open, nothing much has changed. It's still fantastic. The staff is super nice and helpful. It's impeccably cleaned daily. And they got wi-fi, so now I hang out here while doing laundry watching Netflix - I mean doing work like I said I would be... Also, small load if $2, medium $3, large $4 and it's $0.25 for 8 minutes in the dryer (and they actually work! So you only usually need 24-32 minutes.)

The gentleman later helped with explaining to me about their washing and folding services.

I also love that all the machines are brand-new, not leased or refurbished. Every time I go there, I feel that I may run into Archie Bunker or someone famous! My cellphone signal reception on my smartphone works super fast, probably the fastest I ever seen. This is unusual for a laundromat because of all the electromagnetic machines that creates electromagnetic field's. I was lucky enough to meet the owner Nick in 2014. I was curious to find out what his secret was about the cellphone signal being so awesome. Nick was nice enough and told me that "if you look at the ceiling there are repeaters". This is very important for me since the work I do doesn't allow my work smartphone to be able to connect to Wi-Fi. I needed a iPhone charging cable because my battery was dying rapidly. I asked if they have a cable I can borrow w/o hesitation the lady at the register gave me one to use with out a hubcap attached to it, lol. I was there late-night and a gentleman with his small poodle came looking for his wife's wedding ring. The person that was in charge was new so he made a quick phone call & with-in minutes Nicks father brought him his ring which was from the Edwardian Era. Me and my wife own expensive shirts some costing close to $1000. I recently had a newborn baby boy. I choose to use Lost Sock to wash all his laundry as well. I recently relocated to the city last year for work. I bring all of our families laundry to Lost Sock specifically because I don't trust anyone else to handle our laundry needs.

I tried the wash and fold service before and had the clothes folded poorly with the same outcome. I figured it might be a one-off the first time. Went again and said the same thing. Both times I refolded the clothes myself to salvage what wrinkled messes I could. I tried to speak to the owners about it on the phone as I don't like to leave reviews without attempting to have a conversation about it to see what can be resolved. The owner said they are too busy to fold well and that I would need to pay for pressing or dry cleaning. She also said no one else has complained and implied it is only me. Now, I'm a guy who is probably about as great at folding as the next guy, but even I could tell these were just quickly rolled/folded together that they probably would have looked the same if just kept in the bar after drying. I'm just so confused by the owner too. She kept bringing up unrelated things like the costs. I have no problem paying extra if needed. She was mentioning other things rather than what I was calling about. I simply paid for the wash and fold service and know clearly understand this place is not the place to go. They are just ok if you need a place to go to do your own laundry like I usually do, but owners (both the husband and wife) have a way of making you feel in their way every time you are there. The last time I was there the guy was yelling at a Spanish speaking woman who didn't speak English and she didn't know what she was doing wrong. They just are not warm or friendly. If you can go someplace else, just do it. There is indeed a line between being unfriendly and rude and I think they are just use to crossing it. I don't know. So confused by this place. I should have read the other reviews beforehand and can see I'm not the only one who's seen the behavior of the two owners.

The laundromat refused to take responsibility and I didn't make a big deal out of it, given that I'd been happy for over a year. However, the very next week, a second pair of nice jeans also went 'missing'. Again, they initially refused responsibility. When I pressed the matter, they said that when clothes go missing, the laundromat forces the workers pay it out of their own pockets. After literally seven visits trying to rectify this, they ultimately refunded me only $20, claiming that since the jeans were 'used', and I insisted that the establishment pay and not the workers, they would not refund full price. Because of this, I have taken my business elsewhere. 2 stars instead of 1 as they ultimately did refund $20, although the jeans were much more expensive.

Which looks like something pretty gross if you know what I mean. Probably laundry soap but it is difficult to rinse off. Lately our "clean" laundry has been questionably so.
