I can't say enough good things about Kiddie Academy. I posted this review on their Google page last year, and all of it still applies and so much more. They have been so amazing through all of the Covid concerns, and worked with us as parents when times were so uncertain. Here is my review from last year: I toured so many daycares before choosing one for my then 18 month old. For some reason this one did not show up on my search and we ended up at Goddard. We spent 6 months there and it was a really rough 6 months... we decided to try a different place because too many incidents continued to happen. We were referred here by a friend, and signed up at our tour. I cannot say enough good things about this center. The rooms are huge. You have the option to see your baby on camera throughout the day. The teachers are so calm and sweet. They go above and beyond the state teacher to child ratio requirement. The front door is very secure. They provide meals, cots and sheets that they wash daily, and sippy cups for you baby. They have an indoor play area for bad weather and a splash pad. Our daughter had a little accident and they were quick to call my husband and I to let us know, and we were able to watch the accident played back to us since there are cameras. Just a tiny fall. There's a million other great things about this center, but these are just the ones that our previous daycare didn't offer. We were also paying more at our previous daycare. We feel so secure here!! Everything we wanted and so much more.

I would not recommend this daycare at all. We put our child in this daycare for the summer. The…read morelack of curriculum is one thing for a short summer program. My issues are the liberties they are taking without communicating with parents. Example one, my four year old daughter got in the car to tell me a boy in her class ran around naked and she saw his privates. No one from the school spoke to me about it. When I called, the owner acknowledged that she saw me on the way in and out at pickup and neglected to bring it up. Additionally, my child is now reciting pre-meal prayers that she learned from the teacher. We were never informed that any type of religion would be taught or in required, if we were, we never would have enrolled her.

I have submitted a delete review request, and do not know why the review is still active. However, it's incredibly unprofessional to share details on who has and has not toured the facility. From a privacy perspective, I would expect more from a preschool. Regarding this particular Keller location, my nephew attended school here a year ago. He is on the spectrum, within one week he was asked not to return. The facility did not contact him directly, rather was told not to return by a note in his lunchbox.

Only thing I would change is the parents portal online which now it's not really a tool, it's just there with your info. I stand by my comment that you should be ashamed, not for posting the review, but for name dropping employees AND calling them racist. You do not know these people. It is one thing to leave a bad review since you obviously had a bad experience, but name dropping and calling people racist is a totally different scenario. Your review will follow these employees should they seek other opportunities. And for the record, my granddaughter is not 100% white and we have had zero problems. Just thought I'd throw that out there before you make assumptions as to the race of my granddaughter. I would like to address the previous review given by Sue M. Sue M's review infuriates me for several reasons. My granddaughter attends this daycare and we have had zero problems. It is diverse and the staff are amazing. If I were Emma or any one else you name dropped, I would personally file a law suit against you for defamation of character. Your child attended this facility for all of two months. You do not know them. At all. You should be ashamed. It is my understanding the management has access to the audio recordings for the classrooms. Have you asked them to review the footage? Have you even considered the possibility that your child is not being truthful? In this review you definitely sound like the "my child can do no wrong" parent. I worked with Hannah about 2 months prior to starting my child at this daycare and provided her application form, payment details and my child's vaccination records, but she forgot to run the application as well as she forgot to put my child on waiting list. When I called a week prior before starting my child, Jennifer (the director) answered the call and she was not able to find my child's application. Since Hannah was not available, she had me waiting until Hannah comes in. Hannah returned my call and told me that she forgot to run the application and put my child on waiting list so now I have to wait for another two months before my child can start daycare there. With all of that she was not even apologetic and the director did not even have courtsey to call me back or apologize. I was so much relying on them and now I have to look for other daycares who can take my child in just one week. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

I had just saw his classroom and counted about nine children, clearly not a full class, when the student to teacher ratio is 1:11 and there are 2 teachers. From there, the situation became even more concerning. Rebecca went into the office, whispered with Chris, the owner, and returned stating : there were actually no spots available and my son was second on a waiting list. After voicing my concern about being told there was availability, Chris came and spoke with me promising to call me back about the availability, but that call never came. Instead, I received a generic email confirming my son had been placed on the waiting list. This experience was not just disappointing as a single mom -- it was deeply troubling as this is a faith based school. The whispering in the office, the sudden contradictions, and the lack of follow-through made it clear that honesty and transparency are not priorities at this school. I would strongly caution other parents to look elsewhere. If this is how they handle new families at the door, I shudder to think how issues are handled once a child is enrolled.
