There certainly not in hurry but there making your food. I'm from California's central coast and there's a taco stand of some sort every 4 blocks. The compation is fierce. This pop up would be a solid competitor. Last words...let's go!

I've salivated over their posts on Instagram for over six months now, so when I noticed them…read morealerting a visit to my neck of the valley, I set a reminder in my calendar. The line was short when we arrived, only 2 people deep. I could feel excitement bursting when I began my order, as I watched the employees working it in the 106 degree weather, shaded by a collection of pop up awnings. We didn't wait that long, and the food came out scalding hot. The posole ramen was a bit disappointing, at $11, as it only contained one chunk of pork, and the amount of noodles was underwhelming. The taste was good, but much too pricey for me to ever order again. The keto taco, at $4.50, was as hot to the touch as you'd expect a cheese tortilla, that just came off the grill, to be. We should have just drove our food home, which would have given it time to cool. Noting that for next time... The Quesitacos, at $4/ea, were so hot, it was like buying a Rolex at a pawn shop... it burns my fingers. Once we arrived home, I got into one, and it was good. Not great, but good. You may want to explicitly ask for some birria dipping sauce, as they don't just give it to you. The real treats this day were the agua frescas. At $4.50/ea, they're about the same as a $tarbuck$ beevy, but bursting with flavor. Bae highly recommends the Watermelon Pineapple and the Horchata, which was creamy with a hint of spice, like a chai tea, not like the over sweet concoctions at other restaurants. The problem with food trucks on social is that they've already set expectations so high, so when a customer shows up, they need to maintain the highest of standards, otherwise, they're just creating disappointing experiences, as you can see by their scathing reviews One annoyance: there were no trash cans for their patrons, although there were a couple of picnic benches and hi tops. I get that you don't want to lug bags of trash away... but neither do your customers.

My 1,200th review on Yelp had to have 5 stars, so here it is! So epic!!…read more I have had a few Filipino restaurants bookmarked for a while, but haven't had the chance to go to one until now. A good friend of mine was craving Filipino food so we chose Nanay's to scratch the itch. "Nanay" is the Tagalog word for mother. Let me tell you, this place is LEGIT!!! The restaurant has a pretty good size dining area. You can also order ahead for pick up. Employees are very friendly here and I appreciated the fact that the older gentleman was nice enough to give me a sample size of the Langka. It was right on the money! All of the food we got was definitely made with love. You can see it and you most certainly can taste it. I'm a big fan of Sisig, so it was only right to order it. They offer steamed white rice, garlic fried rice and pancit for your base. You get to choose your entrées (choose 1, 2 or 3). I opted for the sisig and their pork adobo which I have been told is a best seller here. No lies were told, as the adobo was on point! I also wanted to sample their "bilo bilo" and it was just like my mom's. I can never get enough!! Prices here won't swallow your wallet, and the parking lot outside is huge! The place was poppin' when we stepped inside and the line only got longer. That's how you know it's DAMN DELICIOUS! I suggest you try out Nanay's because you are missing out if you don't. Should you find yourself searching for some authentic Filipino food, bring yourself!! You'll be sure to leave feeling like you just ate at mom's house! enJOY!! =)

And I thought he meant a sample but instead started filling the container and handed it over to me with oil dripping on the sides. We were the only people in line, and it seemed like he just wanted us out of the store. When he was scooping the kare kare, he also kept scooping past the meat (beef items are an extra +$1 btw) and would dump out each scoop if he thought he was giving us "too much". Everything including the service was VERY greasy and I wouldn't come back.

I had carne asada and it was every bit as good as Natalie described it. My husband had pastor tacos and he is in a food coma he loved it so much. The guacamole was the best I have had! We will be back next week on Tuesday. Also, Natalie was so accommodating to our little ones. It was a great experience. Five stars does even cover how much we liked our dinner and service.

He was incredibly kind and attentive, especially with my friend who is deaf, making sure we always had water, napkins, and plenty of chips. The margarita flight is always a must for me, so I had to order one for my friend since it was her first visit. I told her that even though neither of us are into spicy margaritas, I knew she'd love it and I was right! Every margarita was delicious. I also ordered the lavender lemonade, which was refreshing and just as good. Ghost Ranch never seems to miss when it comes to drinks. Potato tacos! Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. It was flavorful, tender, and filling, with lots of garlic and savory flavor. I'm not sure if short rib is just not my thing, but it didn't wow me the way the Aztec Cake did. I warmed it up later and it was delicious a second time so no complaints. Excellent service, delicious drinks, and a fun way to spend the Fourth. We'll definitely be back!

It was very poor quality. The rolls also had bad tasting fish in them. The ginger & wasabi was also awful. Slow service is the biggest issue. There is only one server and one cook/sushi maker. It takes way too long to get rolls to the table, or reorder, or pay the check. They charge an extra fee if you use a card. They have cash price & card price. The restrooms were so disgusting! Literal poop in the toilet and on the wall. On a side note, I don't know if the A/C was out, or if they always have fans going and no A/C. We were there in mid July with 115 outside and they only had multiple cooling fans blowing inside the restaurant. This was our first time trying Hon Machi, we will not be back. Don't waste your time or money and avoid this place.

These are the types of businesses our money should be going toward. The food is to die for. Of my three visits, I tried a new main every time.. but to start, I always got the beef sticks. They are soooo delicious. Seriously, the flavor is EXPLOSIVE. As for the mains, I can say the same thing. Explosive and fresh flavors. If you love veggies you will love their dishes! I didn't expect to like their soup to the extent that I did, it was WONDERFUL! Service is great as well. Each time, I got served by Isaiah (hope I spelled it right). He is super funny and kind. Honestly, he is very personable and a big part of why I keep coming back! And he is always happy to recommend a new dish for me to try. The decor is also very cute. It reminds me a lot of places I would go to as a child. The whole place, from the food to the ambiance, had a comforting vibe for me. Also, the music is fire I can't lie. I can't wait to come back!

And will try other things. I'll just make sure to check the order before I leave if taking it away. I normally don't like the rice paper egg roll. But they were well done and super fresh tasting here. My pad see ew came out perfect and was delicious. The Thai wings looked pale and I wasn't optimistic until I bit into them. The flavor was fantastic. Excellent use of spices. I do recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal. Good service. And slightly higher pricing but worth it imo.
