    Vegan menu!
    Lori A.

Great neighborhood Thai restaurant which has recently been renovated. They have a separate Vegan menu with lot of options! From the vegan menu we had the Pad See Ew and mixed vegetables with added eggplant. (Their eggplant is awesome). Both dishes also had tofu. Everything was wonderful except for the tofu. It was very overcooked and difficult to chew. Service was wonderful and drink prices were cheap. They just need to take a lighter touch with the tofu.

Came here for a quick lunch during our break. The service was really quick. I ordered the kao soi gai, I like spicy and I did Thai hot. I think it was perfectly balanced flavor. However if you like spicy I'd try the crazy Thai hot, as the coconutmilk probably takes the spice down a little bit. The portion was quite big. It was filling, and I had some to go. I felt the onions were cut a little too big and I'd have personally preferred it to be smaller. The service was good. We were a group of six and all our good came on time, was very accommodating as well. Definitely have to go back to try the other dishes as well.

I had my car serviced and discount tire company and walked over here for lunch while I waited. The waitress was very kind and welcoming, and I felt no pressure to leave since they accommodated my stay as I waited for my car! I ordered the garlic noodles. Amazing!!! The sauce was definitely garlicky but not overpowering the other flavors. The noodles were cooked to the perfect texture and blended well with the rest of the ingredients. I had a great time here and enjoyed my time. The rest of the restaurant was clean and well put together.

This is one of the top Thai restaurants in Arizona. You honestly couldn't really tell based on looking at the outside and seeing how small it is on the inside, but the flavors that they push out are real. Their Thai boat noodles are excellent and honestly even their orange chicken is amazing. Everything I had was full of flavor, and the staff and owners are the nicest people

Yum! Definitely top 5 Thai places I've tried in Arizona. We ordered on DoorDash and it came very quickly and was still piping hot. The Crab Rangoons were just okay, I'd try something else next time. The entrees, however, were amazing. The Vegan Pad Thai was by far one of the best I've ever tried. The tofu was crunchy and the sauce was flavorful. The House Fried Rice was seasoned perfectly and the chicken was super fresh and tender. Finally, the Spicy Basil with Chicken was perfect. A delightful basil sauce paired with that same tender fall apart chicken. I would definitely come back, like ASAP!!

The food at Royyim Thai Cuisine is the BEST Thai food I have ever had!! We kicked off our meal with a couple of Thai Iced Teas, which were incredible, 10/10, and absolutely worth the price. When it came to choosing my main, I was torn between the Orange Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai, and Spicy Lemongrass Chicken. I ultimately went with the Lemongrass Chicken, and let me just say, it did NOT disappoint! The flavor was incredible with a perfect spice level for someone like me who can't even handle Hot Cheetos lol. The zesty citrus flavor from the lemongrass was truly amazing. Tom, our server, made our experience even more delightful with his accommodating and friendly service. The atmosphere of Royyim Thai Cuisine adds to its charm - it feels very family-owned, inviting, and impeccably clean, making it a cozy dining spot. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the mood for flavorful, incredible Thai cuisine that leaves a lasting impression. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I've been here long time ago.. Wasn't too bad.. Thought I give it another try. Had lunch special beef spicy basil. I ordered hot but it wasn't that hot. Lunch special came with small sore salad.. Dressing was some sort of peanut dressing but it was very thick and clumpy for a dressing. I did not finish the salad because dressing was not that good. My spicy basil dish was pretty good. Small portion for the price I would come back and try some other dishes.

Our second time here because their Green Curry with chicken was da BOMB! Also had the Eggplant with shrimp, and Drunken Noodle with chicken and they were all delicious. Chon Thai in Chandler use to be our favorite but not anymore! This place takes the top spot now.

Wow - just wow. We had the shrimp spring roll which was HUGE. 1 is plenty for 2. Also the pit stickers were delicious! The main meal was the Royyim Chicken Stir Fry with peanut sauce - it was so tasty! To top off desert, mango sticky rice. Could not have been more impressed. Highly recommend this place!

A great place to come for quality Thai food! I dined in and got their Chicken Pad Thai lunch special. A great Pad Thai has a noodle that has a little chew to it with a prominent taste of tamarind, and Royyim nailed it. That with an abundant amount of peanut, the dish was so good. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, and the employees are very kind. The family atmosphere of the business is perfect for a young family. There's a small handful of Thai restaurants I go to in the valley, and these guys are one of them for sure.

I came in to eat here and used the restroom first. I did not end up ordering. Will not be eating here. The employees also use this restroom. Conditons are very unsanitary.

There is also a nice parking garage accessible via the alleyway between buildings under the apartments (see photo). Atmosphere 5/5 This is a One-off small business cute cafe rating. There is season appropriate seating curbside in front on Main Street. Today we enjoyed our takeout dessert in front it was such a neat overcast day. On the inside there are item for sale on small wall shelves in the dining room and freezer refrigerators giving it a small town vibe. There are approximately 6-8 tables for eat in service. As the summer temperatures arrive these tables will become even more in demand. This is a quaint Gluten Free eatery with a nice selection offered in menu. Service 5/5 This is a take menu to table, decided then return to counter to order. Orders are delivered to your table. Helping us today was Paula. She was the ambassador to the restaurant who welcomed us immediately. She asked if we've been in before and once we responded no, she thoughtfully walked us through everything including the Gluten Free information. Food 5/5 Both of us were hungry for breakfast and we were ready for this new experience. Coffee was severed in large and individually unique cups. Coffee was nice. 4-Eats we ordered for inside service; a powdered sugar Waffle and I ordered their biscuits and sausage gravy. Sides were two eggs over easy and two sausage patties for additional protein. Desert were two oatmeal cookie pies the we enjoyed curbside in front. Our breakfast choices were fantastic. For mine I ordered too much because the sausage in the gravy would have been sufficient due to their generous serving size. I will order the same thing less the two Patties. Desert 5/5 Our picks were delicious and will require another extra 30 minutes in the gym! $67.90 includes generous tip for excellent service! If you're in the Downtown Mesa area put "Against the Grain" on your list of places to eat. Eat well my friends-SYOY!
