I did a lot of research to find a good place for a mani pedi in town and Lexington came up. Angilee was very sweet and professional and was very detailed about her work. My nails look great! I also appreciated the ability to book online. The salon itself is very clean and was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon. Street parking is available nearby. I wanted a pedicure and have been to a lot of different Day Spas in town and most are well Blah or Meh not leaving me with a classy atmosphere or experience. Rushed through just a number in line ... in a small shop, Ho hum. This place is amazing! Huge! There must be 10 Stylist Chairs. There are 3 pedicure chairs and they're POSH with massage controls! 2 Nail stations and a list of services to please the frequent Spa Goer with waxes, massages, and lash services. My oldest daughter clued me into the place as she went for a Pedicure there as she lives downtown! I booked my appointment online and they're right next door to Club Paris. 1st service was perfection the Pedicure Tech Leila after a soak, scruff off of my dead skin and a foot massageI got a Dry Skin Mask and lotions. My husband picked a nice neutral metallic shellac, (more colors are coming in) she said and they do Gel too so nice! I'll be back. Yeah, POSH! First off, it's hard for me to write this review because I honestly like the owner Sarah. Although I personally feel like she did not do right by me in the sense of my hair~ this is why I have felt torn/the need to leave an honest review. The salon itself is beautiful, new and feels luxurious, the staff is friendly and it feels easy to be there. However, I'm dreadfully disappointed in how my hair has turned out. We started off doing highlights about a year ago, and I kept coming in for maintenance so probably had about 4ish or 5 visits to this salon. On the last two visits I told Sarah that I wanted to move in the direction of lived blonde / balayage and showed her hair inspo pics which I know were very achievable based on the current color level we'd already achieved over time. She said she could do it, looked at the photos and said "yes, I get you" so I trusted her. When we were done my hair did not look balayaged at all or even "lived in" as a blonde. To be quite honest I don't think she knew how to do that look? Because I don't understand how she could be a color specialist and let me walk out of the salon with crazy amounts of banding all over my head and not address the fact that my old highlights needed blending and she just added more highlights like a halo on top of my head... trust me I look ridiculous. I called the salon a week later because I couldn't live with that look and went back into get the banding blended, and she did try blending it out a bit more but over all I'm disappointed and still did not see the results I wanted. I do not recommend coming here for a balayage or lived in blonde. It seems like the stylists are old fashioned and use out dated techniques and are not up to date. See photos. Now I need to spend another $350-400 somewhere else to get it fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. I've spent a lot of money at this salon and I'm sad to say I won't be coming back. Had the best deep tissue massage of my life with Jalisa. I booked a 50-minute massage and upgraded to 80 minutes mid-massage - it was that good. Jalisa is smart, caring and genuinely interested in fixing your problem areas (for me, that's my back). Sadly I don't live in Anchorage, but The Lexington makes me wish I did. No detail was spared in the creation of this place from the decor to the fancy crushed ice to the wax-sealed gift cards. The Lexington is pure luxury. Ellie at the front was super friendly and helped me buy a gift card for a family member who lives in Anchorage. I can't wait to come back next summer! read more

I've been seeing this brand new salon being built the last couple months and it looked NICE on the outside. I finally just went here the other day to try it out and had an AMAZING massage. After going to many salons in LA, NY, Denver, Europe & really all over the world- I'm pretty picky. The Lexington has a really talented Masseuse (Jalisa) and I'm still feeling completely amazing days later. The softest sheets on the table alone- made me never want to leave the room. I was actually really impressed with the atmosphere and decor as well. I moved up here recently from CA and have been looking for something just like this place here. If you're wanting something High End & Classy (like what you only find in the big cities) this is the closest I've found here. They have other services like hair, nails, facials, spray tan- the works! that I haven't tried yet. But kind of excited now to try. I actually think this might be my next place to do a Girls day/night out- then walk to one of the several nice dinner choices around there afterwards. It's even next door to Club Paris & Ginger which I like. For out-of-towners looking for a classy high end spa day to relax- this is your place. I had an awesome pedicure. I was expecting it to be $85, with the add-ons of gel polish and gel remover and of course a tip... it ended up being $150. I wouldn't mind paying $150 if the whole experience was worth it. I definitely don't think this spa is worth it. It's not really even a spa. It's a slightly more upscale version of a hair salon/nail salon. It is located in the middle of downtown. As I pulled up to the parking meter I was immediately met by someone at my car door asking me for money, I tried to wave him off, but he kept talking and asking for money. When I finally felt safe enough to get out of my car I was barely greeted by the front desk person, who scoffed and said, "I'm not really the front desk person and told me to sit wherever" Then, I was greeted very kindly by my nail tech. However, I couldn't relax during my pedicure for 2 reasons... there was a woman next to me who decided it was her time to use her nail tech as a therapist. She talked nonstop about her life and problems and perceived life-wisdom. This lady was probably 70 and the nail tech was probably 22. It was like listening to grandma talk nonstop about herself. It was ridiculous. The other reason I couldn't relax was because I was worried about running out of time on my meter. If this salon wants to exist in downtown... they should figure out a way to pay for customer parking. On the other hand, my nail tech was great, very sweet and she did an amazing job, however, for $150 the overall experience wasn't worth it. The spa itself if nice, but it is far from luxurious. For that kind of money, I would rather be in a fancy resort spa. read more

I had a pedicure and manicure by Leila N and she was absolutely great. Great conversation and very attentive to the work she was doing meanwhile. I've had manicures and pedicures at almost every other place in town while trying to find a place that works for me, but I will certainly be going back to see her. She is very sweet and kind and understanding and I can't wait for my next appointment! Everyone else at the salon was great too and made the experience even better and it went by very quick, I guess the expression "time flies when you're having fun" holds true. read more

Dani is amazing at waxing, I've been getting my eye brows done by her for years & I don't trust anyone else to do them. Her advice on skin care is always on point.
