We ducked in Pacific Grind's drive thru on our way to Newport for an appointment. Because caffeine makes everything better. Especially my mood. We got an iced Dirty London Fog ( tea, vanilla, Espresso, lavendar, and a shot of espresso), an iced soy vanilla latte, a sticky raspberry scone, and a warm asiago bagel with salmon cream cheese for about $23 plus tip. Everything was tasty, good, and the barista's were friendly. All in all a good experience. I like how the drive up menu was on both sides of the car, so I didn't have to read it to my passenger. Smart! And there were baked goods where you can see them unlike the usual drive thru where you have to guess what might be available. We will be back. We came for breakfast and were a little disappointed by our breakfast burritos. They were tasty, but much smaller than most other breakfast burritos we've had. The chipotle sauce that came with them was very good though and added a lot of flavor to the burritos. Our coffees were great! My husband had an iced caramel latte and I had a hot mocha. Both were great. Service was also great - the employees were very friendly despite being busy and our food and drinks game out quickly. They had a nice outdoor seating area and plenty of seats inside too. read more

We've been coming to this place for several years now and we're grateful it's in the neighborhood! The breakfast burritos (with delicious aioli) are always a great choice, and their coffee is tasty and hot as well - perfect for cold wet mornings. Their outdoor seating area is pleasant, and if it's raining, they have a lot of indoor seating too. Everyone in there is friendly. We look forward to our next visit. read more

Tasty breakfast! The drive-thru was pretty busy this morn, but inside not bad. We ordered a huckleberry empanada, a breakfast burrito, and everything bagel sandwich, as well as a latte and drip. The burrito actually tasted much more of a lunch variety than breakfast, but the flavor was good enough I didn't mind a bit. The everything bagel sandwich was yummy...maybe could've used a bit more egg, but still very satisfying. My first time having a breakfast empanada, and I liked it. Came across a smidge like a gourmet pop tart. ;) Service was friendly and the food and coffees were great, won't hesitate to return! read more

Definitely a good spot for coffee and they also had delicious breakfast sandwiches of course made with Tillamook cheese! The bagels were nice and soft, chewy, all served piping hot and fresh. The drive thru had a consistent line of 5 cars but the crew in there cranks out the coffee and food quickly. The inside has a few nostalgic restaurant chairs 80s style and some seating outside as well, plenty of room to sit and have a quick bite to eat. We will be coming back again as it was a very enjoyable and affordable establishment. Wanted to mention that their Wifi is very good as well if you're trying to work, but be sure to bring $1 for donation to use it, proceeds go to the humane society, so it's a double win. read more

Changed our mind for breakfast to try this place out. The reviews were good so why not? It is a cute place, we loved the vibe. The food not so much. I had the bacon and egg sandwich. The bacon was undercooked and the eggs are precooked and not made to order. My wife had the sausage and egg sandwich. 1 bite and she gave it to me. 1 bite from me and into the trash it went. The sausage patty was very very cooked and again, precooked eggs. It was like going into a McDonalds and ordering a breakfast sandwich. Should have stuck with our original breakfast plan. read more

5 stars for their lattes, wifi, and service. I tried Black Forest mocha (black cherry) with oat milk (hot), and it was delicious! Dark, sweet, and smooth. Marionberry scone was okay--I requested it to be heated up, which made it better. I'm picky about the freshness of baked goods, so if I had it right after it was taken out of the oven, that'd be so much better, of course. Great friendly service. Wifi was great (donate $1 for the wifi). There was a few power outlets too but not many though. Cute outdoor patio with lovely views of the mountains in the distance. read more

Amazing Coffee and Breakfast Sandwiches! We've been to the area for vacations twice in the last few years, and made it a point to come back to Pacific Grind after how great our first experience was. We'll be back whenever we're in the area. Their lattes are amazing, and the drip coffee they serve is great as well. Opt for a larger size, you'll want it! While coffee is great, we have been equally impressed by the breakfast bagel sandwiches. We model these whenever we try to make them at home. Cute little coffee shop serving up some delightful breakfast options and coffee. I got the daily special which was the white chocolate lavender mocha. It was such a lovely hot sunny morning I decided to get it iced. It was so delicious!! I also got an everything bagel with smoked salmon and chive cream cheese and and the holy trinity bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It came on a perfectly toasted English muffin. The staff was so nice and they gave my dog some treats while we waited and offered him water. Very cool place! read more

I was headed down to Boiler Bay to take pictures of the king tides surf a while back. High tide was early morning so I had to get up at O'Dark-30 in order to get to the coast early enough for sunrise, the golden hour and good surf. I used to stop at the Otis diner for early morning vittles but the joint burned down a while back so I am still looking for a new favorite stopping place out this way. Happened upon this eatery half by accident and half due to the many five star Yelp reviews. My fellow Yelpsters rarely let me down and they were once again spot on with this place. Was waited on quickly by cheerful, friendly staff. Had the salmon spread on a bagel and cafe maison noir sans sucre. Prit-T-y good coffee. Sometimes difficult to tell what's good when you're starving but I'd definitely rate my overall experience here at five stars. read more

We stopped by to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the beach. The staff was wonderful and everyone was masked. We grabbed three bagels and ate them on the patio. The bagels were good! I did notice that there was a more extensive menu when you first come in vs what's posted by the register. We will definitely try their breakfast sandwiches next time. My husband grabbed a coffee and I had a chai. The chai is listed as spicy on the menu, but it's more of a cinnamon chai. It was good, I would definitely get it again. My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast and a latte on our way out of town. The barista was very unfriendly. She got our drink order wrong. The portions are extremely small. I ordered a $6 breakfast burrito and it was what you would expect from the McDonald's dollar menu. The only good thing was the cream cheese schmear on my boyfriends bagel. They did have quick service but it did not make up for their standoffish and unfriendly behaviour. We would have had better service at a fast food drive through. Very disappointed. read more

*PAID WI-FI MEANS DONATING A DOLLAR TO A PET THING* I can't remember what it that pet thing is, exactly, but the "paid wi-fi" in their info section made me almost not want to visit at all. I really just wanted somewhere to get food and coffee where I could work on my computer for a while in the morning. They delivered in that regard. I got the tomato, basil, and provolone egg sandwich on a bagel with a half apple. It was all fresh and tasty for what it was, but pretty basic. My latte was good. The people working were efficient and obviously working really hard, but not necessarily outwardly friendly. Not in a hurry to come back, personally, but it's a cool little place. read more

Im going to start by saying the staff is super sweet and efficient. Even while being short handed and limited to a drive thru they managed to get our order out quickly once we crawled thru the line. Our dirty chais were a bit bitter on the back end and while we wanted to try their breakfast to go sadly there are no vegan alternatives other than avocado so we passed. If you find yourself in the south part of Lincoln City, Pacific grind café is the place for you. What a nice place to get your coffee fix. You can drive up, bike up or walk in and enjoy some of the best coffee in town. It's a little shop inside with different sitting areas and even a kids play room. If you're hungry for breakfast, they have breakfast burritos and fresh baked croissants. Service is just wonderful at oh dark early. With some good rock and roll to wake you up.
