Pig 'N Pancake was our Sunday brunch spot during our trip to Lincoln City. Super easy to access from Hwy 101 and super close to the beach house we're staying at. We got there at around 1:00pm, so we had just missed the big lunch/brunch rush. We try not to go to breakfast restaurants in the middle of the morning because we end up waiting a long time for a table as a result. We were seated immediately at a booth upon walking in and we were given a menu to look at. The kitchen was behind us, where pig sounds were going off at least every 2 minutes. For drinks, I ordered a cup of coffee and my boyfriend ordered a Diet Coke. Next to me was a plate of coffee creamers, which had half and half and hazelnut available. I unknowingly picked up a hazelnut creamer before realizing that I actually wanted half and half haha. And luckily for me, I used up the last of the real sugar packets that they had at our table. Coffee was decent, helped me keep me going as the day went on. When we were ready to order food, I ordered (6) buttermilk pancakes and my boyfriend ordered a plate of eggs and kalevasa (I doubt I spelled that right) with (3) buttermilk pancakes. These pancakes were excellent and tasted better with butter and syrup on top. I'll say this here that my boyfriend had a pig and a pancake as his breakfast meal, because it also included bacon. He enjoyed it so much that he ended up finishing the entire thing. Though Pig 'N Pancake basically has the style of IHOP and Denny's, we enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back again. read more

Our favorites are the waffles, pancakes, french toast and crab Benedict! The prices are a little high but comparable to other breakfast spots in the area. My wife had the Jr plate and I had a sausage omelette with pancakes. All of our food was very good, except the sausage on my wife's plate was barely warm. Otherwise a very good stop for breakfast. Pricing is on the 'we are very proud of our food' side of the spectrum with a straight pancake order running just shy of $13. Pig 'n pancakes is one of the few breakfast places that I have actually enjoyed. I got the biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious. The sausage links were high quality and tasted amazing. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was great. The workers were nice. My father accidentally spilled his drink and one of the waitresses, Amber, brought a towel and helped us clean up the mess. We didn't even have to ask. The ambiance is great. My family and I were staying at Pacific Beach and found this amazing breakfast restaurant in Lincoln City. The drive was about 30 minutes. We were immediately greeted as we entered and the host sat us at a round table. Great lighting, large ceiling and lots of places to sit. The lazy Susan on the table had a cute picture of a pig. The food was delicious! My husband loved his Ham Benedict and said that it's one of the best places he has had one! My daughter had a chicken fried skillet with gravy and eggs. From bottom to top, the English muffin eas nice, the ham was delicious, the egg was watery, and the hollandaise was pretty forgettable. My hash browns needed another two minutes on the griddles, both for some more browning as well as to cook the potatoes all the way through. Awful experience! The waiter was very rude and passive aggressive towards us after requesting to remove an item from the sandwich that was being ordered. After we received our food we were never checked on we ended up asking for napkins when we seen our waiter passing by she didn't say anything about getting them not a nod nothing, she comes back and drops the napkins on the table without saying anything and walks away. We try to ignore her attitude and continue to eat our meal, even though we're having an awful experience (service and food was bad cold/ sloppy and no flavor) she then comes with the check and puts it on our table once again doesn't say anything. I address the issue with the waiter and she yells at us saying "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!" At this point we are very upset and we want nothing to do with her and would have preferably had someone else help us and not this old lady (Tracy) We let the manager know and all she could say was "Oh I'm sorry" no one had empathy in that place the food wasn't even good it literally was like going to a fast food chain restaurant super busy no love in their food they just care about the $$ coming in and getting the people out quickly so they can fill another spot in quickly. We will be calling our bank and never going to this place again!! We did the suspension bridge hike out in Lincoln City this past weekend and after that we were all quite hungry, hangry even. My buddy mentioned extra crispy bacon at the PnP and well, you know exactly where we ended up. Looks are deceiving because the place just seems like every other IHOP or Denny's. Once you eat the food, you learn differently. On this occasion, they may have been a little short staffed because service took some time. Dungeness. Crab. Eggs. Benedict.($17.95) Oh yes, and worth every penny of it. There is nothing wrong with an Eggs Benny, but add the crab? Over the top and there was more than enough of it. No skimping at all. I did get to try some of the thick cut bacon, extra crispy of course (the only way bacon should be). Totally legit and I'd eat a plate of that alone.
