I am beyond excited to have authentic Jamaican food in bucks county. This place is a true gem and I hope they stick around for a while. (Located in Oxford valley mall food court) I ordered a large oxtail with cabbage and rice & peas. DELICIOUS. Lots of meat on the oxtail. I'm hoping to try the curry goat & jerk chicken next time I go. The prices are definitely fair, good food doesn't come cheap.

Good food. Enjoyed everything, tried the jerk chicken plate with rice/peas & steam cabbage. Thought all of these items were delicious and went well together. My one major gripe is the chicken parts were cracked in such a way that it was very difficult to get a bite of chicken without catching shrapnel. I think some people would have left a much lower review based on this, but it did not deter me from enjoying my meal. I do think this is easily avoidable though and should seriously be addressed as someone could Crack a tooth or worse. The shard ranged in size from tiny maybe a few millimeter in length to a half inch.

If you are looking for something a little different to eat, I strongly suggest stopping by the Lighthouse Jamaican restaurant. Don't let the fact that they're located at the food court in the Oxford Valley Mall sway your decision. You'll be greeted by the friendly smile of Rachel, the owner and chef, when you arrive. On my first visit, I was inclined to order the Jerk Chicken but ended up ordering the Curry Goat with brown rice and beans along with some cabbage. WOW was I glad I did as it was amazing. So much so that I came back 2 days later and tried the Oxen which was also delicious (however I preferred the goat). I strongly recommend this spot for a relaxing meal in the food court or to take out.

The food is delicious. Jerk pork, rice and peas and cabbage. Delicious. True jerk flavor so yes spicy but succulent. We look forward to returning to trying other items on the menu.

I think your food is so good. I love the Casoli rice and the oxtail. It's one of the most best restaurants I've ever been to.

    Stewed chicken was incredible!!

Best meal I've had in bucks county in a while. The food and flavors were incredible. Stewed chicken and curried chicken were so delicious. Can't wait to go back!!!

Welp! What a disappointment. My family and I frequent this restaurant quite often when we are in…read morethe mood for Jamaican cuisine. This time was not that great. I ordered the meals via door dash pickup online and when I told the staff my order they had difficulty finding my order. That was the first issue. Before I could get the full word "door dash" out she blurted out that they did not confirm the order as if it was a delivery order. The next issue was that they ran out of jerk chicken. The man told me that there is some cooking in the oven and that it would be ready in 5 minutes. I was cool with that. At least I knew the food would be fresh. Problem! He lied the jerk chicken would not be ready in 5 min instead it was ready in 45 min. I should have cancelled my order and asked for a refund but I continued to wait. There were no apologies for the wait time or the rude customer service. When I got home to begin eating I noticed that they did not give us a substantial portion of meet. It was mainly bones. I felt like I definitely got ripped off. Also, I think they changed the recipe of the sauce for the jerk chicken because it was really sweet and tangy instead of being spicy. I don't think I will be back unfortunately. This is not the first time that I have had a bad experience at this restaurant. Whether its them running out of food, order not being ready for pickup, or bad customer service..it is always something. It is time to find another local Jamaican restaurant in the area. If you have any recommendations please send them my way! Cheers!

My order was a veggie platter, which I always order when I'm in the area. Your employee who was scrolling refused me service! I "always" pay for my entire order. I "never" ask for anything free... EVER! So that's a bald-faced lie! I work and can afford to pay for my food, thank you! Take responsibility and admit your employee was "rude" because my presence interrupted her scrolling! I was calm and never once raised my voice! She was loud and rude, and your other employee looked at her sideways. The one other customer in the store was like How did this escalate?" Have no idea how we never tried La Casona in the years my spouse worked nearby or how we missed it…read morein Yelp searches. Well we fixed that as of last night and wow did we have a tasty experience. Bryan, our server, made sure we were ordering in the best way possible to ensure our return trip. So many tasty dishes to choose from and we had both narrowed down to two which Bryan explained and guided us on. Ironically my dish per a Google AI search was the most enjoyed dish. Funny, AI can now even help summarize all the Google reviews and to distill it down for us in seconds. So on this Friday evening after work, here's what we ordered... we start off with a mango margarita which we shared and this was over ice not frozen in a properly salted glass and boy did it taste awesome. We started off with an appetizer of the.Pastelillos Boricuas (3 pieces), it was for us cooked to perfection. It was not over fried. The meat was tender. It was tasty. It was. The crust was soft, even though it had some crispness to it, and I would absolutely start with these again. For our mains, my wife had the Ropa Vienna Platter and she absolutely loved it and reminded her of her time down in Miami for school and getting local Cuban or Caribbean or Puerto Rican food and this just hit it for her. For me I followed my Google AI search... The standout, highly-rated dish at La Casona Restaurante & Bar in Hamilton is their Trifongo. Customers rave about this signature item, often ordered with Churrasco A La Criolla (skirt steak in a flavorful Creole sauce). This came in a wooden round bowl at first I thought it was a coconut shell. It was absolutely delicious moist tender tasty. Our whole dinner experience met exactly with what I was looking for when I told my wife I'm tired of our usual restaurants. I wanna try something different. I don't know what it is but it's a food group that we don't eat or don't eat often and that's how we found La Casona. They have a bar. There's a huge parking lot outback indoor outdoor dining. It's perfect for romantic night out for two as well as large groups. Note they have different pricing for cash paying versus credit card. Staff super friendly courteous the place is immaculately clean, and the food was scrumptious.

It's a relatively unassuming space; we went during the week, so it wasn't super crowded, but we had a good time there together. I can't recall exactly what I ordered, but the shared items and drinks and food were all delicious, and I would be down to return! Hope to order again from them in the future, or to visit again!

Tender but not as tender as it could be. The plantains were also dry and hard not really sweet. They left the super big stems from the fresh herbs. The oxtail and plantains were so dry I could swear they were cooked at least a week ahead of time. The rice was okay and so was the patties. I had one beef and one chicken curry. Over all I was so so disappointed and for $25 a platter like I really want my money back. I will never go back. You should always take pride in your food and business.

I ordered a side of Jerk chicken, patties and a drink. I could not wait to eat. (Sigh) I was a bit disappointed because the Jerk chicken portions were way too big and it seemed as if they were done in the oven instead of on the grill. Authentic Jamaican Jerk Chicken is not usually served with gravy and this had way too much; it was almost like a stew but with less gravy. I ate it because it was edible but I'm not so sure I'll be back now, I could be nit picking because, like I said, I'm an island girl and I grew up on this type of food so YOU may like it if you end up going here.
