Dorm my usual driving expeditions in search of something different, something better than what's in my usual route, I stumbled upon lighthouse. What an impression is left! Although located in a food court, which might usually give me Paws and color how I order or whether I would even eat there at all, this place is out of the ordinary, I was torn between oxtails and goat that day and decided to ask for some guidance. Very thankful for the suggestion I got to order the goat. It was so good that I demolished my food in the food court and had to go up and let them know at the end. Second time here. Staff was terrible not even a smile looked miserable and treated customers like garbage. For $23 you get four oxtails underwhelming, flavorless, cabbage, and rice and peas were OK. I am beyond excited to have authentic Jamaican food in bucks county. This place is a true gem and I hope they stick around for a while. (Located in Oxford valley mall food court) I ordered a large oxtail with cabbage and rice & peas. DELICIOUS. Lots of meat on the oxtail. Good food. Enjoyed everything, tried the jerk chicken plate with rice/peas & steam cabbage. Thought all of these items were delicious and went well together. My one major gripe is the chicken parts were cracked in such a way that it was very difficult to get a bite of chicken without catching shrapnel. I think some people would have left a much lower review based on this, but it did not deter me from enjoying my meal. I do think this is easily avoidable though and should seriously be addressed as someone could Crack a tooth or worse. Amazing and authentic Jamaican food. We have had the oxtail, curry chicken and jerk chicken which are all delicious. For sides we have really enjoyed the Rice N Peas, Callaloo and fried plantains. Some of the best Jamaican food I've had, which includes food from Jamaica and from fancy Boston restaurants. Jerk pork is deliciously fatty with the fiery seasoning (no joke) cutting through that. The sides have good flavor and the oxtail is probably the best rendition I've seen! read more
