This restaurant was a fun experience. The food was good. From the photo posted the tacos are listed from top left to bottom right (Cowabunga, Surfs Up Hey Hey, John Wayne, K-pop shorty and then the bottom four tacos are the K pop shorty, Mr. miyagi, Bless up, and Surfs Up Hey Hey). I personally had the first four, highly recommend the cowabunga and surfs up hey hey, those were my favorites. My partners favorite was the surfs up hey hey with the k-pop shorty a close second. The service was solid, a little slow at times and they did mess up our dessert order but they quickly fixed the issue. The ambiance was very fun and light. Bathrooms were clean. Overall enjoyed our visit here

If you're in Cruz Bay and craving tacos with an island twist, The Lime Inn is definitely worth a visit. The garden-style décor, twinkle lights, and upbeat music make it feel cozy yet energetic at the same time. The food was genuinely good. The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, but served a little bit colder than expected. The service was also friendly and attentive. My only downside? It felt expensive for what it is, especially considering the portion sizes. The food is tasty, but the prices are a bit steep relative to how much you get.Overall, The Lime Inn delivers great flavors, strong cocktails, good service, and a cozy island ambiance just go in knowing you're paying a bit of a premium for the location and vibe.

Many changes over the last 10 years. Each change took me a while to accept it. Eventually, I was happy with their changes. The newest change is tacos, but not typical tacos complex, but wonderful tacos. The owners are charming, and the prices given the fact that all prices are expensive in the island is actually very fair. We will be coming back regularly

Wonderful service. We were greeted with a nice woman who offered a cocktail while we waited for our table. We had the Galileo and G'Day mate tacos. I loved my Galileo and would order again. Lots of flavor. My friend said g'day mate didn't have as much flavors. We also had the corn dip and guacamole for appetizers. The guacamole was one of the best I've had. Chips seemed a little stale and could have been more fresh. For dessert, we split the key lime pie taco. Lots of lime flavor - good tartness. Ambiance was nice.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The fish ceviche was chewy, and the chips were stale and not crispy. Both fish tacos were bland and lacked flavor, which was disappointing--especially since this place is supposed to be known for its tacos. The tacos were overpriced ($13 each) and not good.

Great place on St. John, with a large bar and lots of seating. Many different taco options that a little pricey, but tasty. The best time to come is for happy hour cause to get one drink and the second for free! Totally worth it as the drinks are great. Service was friendly as well!

On a night where the island is experiencing a power outage, there are very few restaurants with generators which also means every restaurant is packed. The Lime Inn was the exception - probably because it's located on a not very lit street, but certainly not because of the service or food. The Lime Inn has a bright and fun atmosphere and the service was friendly and attentive. The watermelon cocktail was delicious and refreshing. The tacos were wonderful. I ordered the Surf's Up Hei Hei (shrimp and pork bbq), which I thought was a bit heavy on the bbq sauce. It could have used more slaw to brighten it up and give it some texture. It was okay, possibly just not for me. Another member at our table ordered it and liked it. I also ordered the Tuna Matata - which I thought was wonderful. The Tuna was seared perfectly, the slaw was delicious and bright. I wish I would have ordered two. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

Overpriced and not as good as Lime Out, though it could be that everything tastes better on the water. Overly sauced shrimp taco but excellent fish taco. Beautifully simple, casual elegance. Island time service.

On the left is the cowabunga - beef short rib and shrimp. On the right is the tuna matata.

Great beach bar vibes at the Lime Inn in Cruz Bay, with eclectic twists on the modern taco! All of the waitstaff were very friendly. Highly recommend the cowabunga!

First night in STJ in 7 years and came to Lime Inn. It didn't disappoint! It was a bit crowded but we got a 4 top by the bar. The outdoor seating and open air concept makes it lovely on beautiful nights like tobjh We started with drinks...the Hunters Passion was amazing! So fresh and delicious! The Harbor Cooler was light and refreshing. For appetizer we had the grouper ceviche with homemade tortillas. Really good and the chips had a nice kick! We all ordered a variety of tacos and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Two is the perfect amount! Definitely coming back!

Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The tacos were really yummy! This was our first stop on the island after a long day of travel and we were all happy. We had A vegetarian with us who had a lot of options too which is also always good!

The menu is big. It's local. They sell out as the night goes on. All of the servers do not speak English really well. But, honestly, if you have a question that can't be answered, there's someone around you can talk to. We ordered sautéed fish and the stewed chicken. Each entree comes with three sides - my favorites were the plantains, red beans, and Cole slaw. Rice was also good. The cook was also grilling pork that smelled AMAZING and when I asked my server if I could have whatever he was making, she literally snuck me over a side plate of smoked and grilled pork. So freaking good. This is not your typical Cruz bay restaurant. This is local. It's delicious. There is live music. Appreciate what you are getting. If you want cute fish tacos, this place isn't for you. We had a cocktail at the Windmill Bar during sunset and then popped over here (practically next door), to order some food. Tables are picnic style tables. All outside. Service is great but food is cooked to order so it might be slow. Enjoy it! We had multiple beers and a couple mamawana shots and two entrees and our total was about $75. Definitely our least expensive meal on St. John ever.

For our date night we went out to The Refinery... the food and service were great. The drink menu has many options, and we selected the non-Caribbean, the Hawaiian-themed humuhumunukuapua'a (humumu) drinks... they are poured from dry gin, lemon/lime, orgeat (also in mai tai), and pineapple - very good! We made surf n turf from two menu items: - Mango mahi mahi - Churrasco Steak and fries - Both served with yucca fries - similar to potato french fries but a bit lighter and really good The Refinery is located a block from the street with several other restaurants in downtown St. John, and is right next door to a building that is home to The Legislature, the St. John Annex of the US Virgin Island's law-making branch of government. We ordered an F-bomb frozen drink that was COMPLETELY refreshing on a warm day. Happy hour is early 2:00-4:00, so know that if going for dinner. For entrees, I got a Tropical Poke bowl with tuna (they also offer two other kinds of fish). It was chock-full of pineapple, pickled onions, sushi rice, and other goodies. In other words, a typical fresh poke bowl. Our other entree was a jerk chicken lettuce wrap with chili flakes that was really good and deceptively filling.
