When we got off the ship there was a line of taxis ready to go and the ride cost $20 for two people one way. When we arrived, the staff greeted us and guided us to the front desk where we checked in for our reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it definitely helps expedite your entrance. One thing worth noting is that when we booked online it didn't show cabanas available, but when we arrived the host checked and was able to get us into one. I highly recommend getting a cabana if one is available because it gives you a nice private area to relax. That said, there are also plenty of tables with covered umbrellas that provide shade from the sun. What really stood out about this place was the level of service. It was incredibly attentive. I honestly don't think we ever waited more than a few minutes before someone came by asking if we needed another drink or more food. Our servers were Juan and Pops/Eric and both of them were fantastic. It felt like every time I turned my head one of them was checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They offer all-inclusive food and you can either go up to the buffet or order directly from the menu and have it delivered to your table or cabana. The property also has multiple pools, massage services, swim-up areas, and gift shops around the resort. At one point what appeared to be a manager came by and asked how we heard about the place and checked in on how our experience was going. That really reinforced how focused they are on service. The location is right on the beach so you get beautiful ocean views while enjoying unlimited food and drinks throughout the day. Overall Mr. Sancho's delivers a great beach day experience with excellent service and it's definitely a place I would visit again when returning to Cozumel.

I'm giving a 4 star only because we had an all inclusive drink package, and I couldn't get a Red Bull. They said I could have a Red Bull and vodka but not a Red Bull. They said they only served alcohol.......i told them I didn't want to drink and he said no and laughed. I later went back and folded. Asked for a red bull and vodka. He then told me they don't have energy drinks. I then told him "fine. Just a water please." As I'm walking. Away I take a swig of water......ITS WATER AND VODKA!!!! . I 100% recommend this place. I am writing this review because I believe Paradise Beach needs to seriously address a safety issue…read moreand the way my concerns were handled by management. I have been to Paradise Beach before and understand how the all-inclusive package works, including the alcohol service. My concern is not that alcohol is available -- my concern is what happens when guests are drinking to the point that their safety may be compromised. My 25-year-old daughter is currently visiting Paradise Beach with her boyfriend and a female friend. Based on videos posted online, they were taking shots and participating in the "rainbow" drink challenge over approximately five hours. In the videos, they appeared severely intoxicated. They were impaired to the point that I was genuinely concerned they may not have been able to make safe decisions for themselves, especially while in another country and participating in activities such as water excursions. A person who is extremely intoxicated around water or in an unfamiliar environment can be at serious risk of injury or even death. This is not a minor concern. What concerns me even more is how my safety concern was handled by the manager, Manuel. I called the beach club because I was frightened for my daughter's safety and wanted someone on-site to be aware of the situation. Instead of listening, showing concern, or acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, Manuel was rude, dismissive, and told me that I am her mother and she is my responsibility and can drink as much as she wants. That response was extremely disappointing. I understand that adults are responsible for their own choices, but an establishment that promotes unlimited alcohol also has a responsibility to recognize when a guest may be dangerously impaired and vulnerable. A manager's response to a legitimate safety concern should be compassion, professionalism, and a willingness to help -- not dismissal. At the time of writing this, I do not even know whether my daughter made it safely back to the cruise ship, and I am left worried about her well-being. Paradise Beach needs to review both its alcohol service practices and the behavior and training of its management staff. The issue here is not simply that someone drank too much -- the issue is that a safety concern was raised and was not taken seriously by the person responsible for managing the facility.

The vendors aren't very aggressive, but their prices are much higher than the retail stores. The $20 admission gets you a table, chairs and umbrella, as well as your choice of drink. The drink was pretty weak, but it's still a solid deal for the chairs etc. The beach is soft, white sand and the water was crystal clear. The inflatables were nice enough, but older and definitely under inflated. There are kayaks and paddle boards available, as well as jet skis. Beers were nice and cold, much better option for your money than the drinks. I highly recommend the Tacos Aserrīn - so good!

So when I realized the taxi service was taking us to Carlos and Charlie's Beach Club I was excited. We were told showers, towels, umbrellas and beach towels were complimentary. We arrived to a run down shack that could only be considered a beach club the way a broken down Ford Fiesta is technically a car. We received a warm welcome from the hostess and we were told that we needed to buy towels. When we told the hostess that we were told towels were part of the fee the staff all acted as if this was news to them. The chairs were cheap and scratchy and the moment we sat down we were assaulted by a mariachi band, a cigar vendor, a tattoo lady, a woman with a bearded dragon, a man with a parrot, a man with a lemur, a man doing sketchy tequila tastings from a cooler and a solicitation for watersports. We ordered ceviche quesadillas and a round of drinks. We were overcharged for our food and drinks. We were told Cozumel' s exchange rate is mysteriously lower than the rest of Mexico. All the menu prices are in pesos so when I did the conversion each charge was about 25-30% higher than the menu price. At one point I asked the manager 'why don't you just say you are arbitrarily charging me what you want.' NCL is also part of the problem because instead of docking and allowing people to explore the city, they make passengers walk through. Duty Free just to get out of the port. This sign was the most accurate, you would have to be drunk to go to this place. Save your money and book a resort.

Their tone came across as aggressive and somewhat rude, which was surprising, but we assured them it wasn't an issue since we planned to order food and drinks anyway. Still, their approach left a sour first impression. This used to be our favorite spot 12 years ago when it was open to the public and free to enter. Back then, ordering food and drinks was optional, but the place has since changed under the ownership of Landmark Corp. Public access is no longer allowed without meeting their requirements or paying a fee. There are a few important things to note: sunscreen is not allowed, and there is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming and snorkeling are entirely at your own risk. The menu now caters primarily to tourists, featuring westernized dishes with a touch of Mexican cuisine. Prices are similar to what you'd find in the U.S., which is expected for a tourist destination. Cruise ships frequently drop off passengers here, so lounge chairs tend to fill up quickly until they leave. Additionally, paying by credit card incurs a transaction fee, so using pesos is the better option. If I hadn't come with my kids--and if visiting the Money Bar wasn't the main reason for our trip to Cozumel--I might have walked away. This place holds so many special memories from when we were single and used to travel to Mexico often, but the changes have made it feel far less welcoming than it once was.

So we stopped in. Jungle-By- Tikila is wonderful. There is a dinner deck out back that is not visible from the street. The food was very good with a special shout-out for the EXCELLENT shrimp tacos, the BEST I've had on the island. NOTE - the Yelp map shows the location of Jungle-By-Tikila ad way south of the Tikila Bar. That is NOT correct. Tikila and Jungle-By-Tikila are the same building. Tikila is the name before 5 and J-B-T after 5. I wish they had happy hour prices but that would be my only suggestion.

I felt like they were kinda being pushy on ordering more expensive stuff or asking us if we wanted to add this or that. They accidentally brought out 6 Mexican cokes instead of 4, and still charged us. Overall, I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for quality. It's a touristy place, with an inflated price.
