You know what I love? Walking out of a salon completely satisfied and feeling fabulous. I've been going to see Sam for about three years. I'm not the most consistent about my hair, and Sam always works with me for whatever my hair needs are. I will spend the rest of the day catching my reflection and giggling at how incredible I look. Every single time. The new space is totally rad. It's open, colorful, the TVs had "Fight Club" and "Girl, Interrupted" going while I was there, and the atmosphere is relaxed and accepting. I cannot recommend this salon, or it's stylists, enough. Quit surfing Yelp and make your appointment already. read more

So after having the same hair lady for 8 years plus it's pretty scary going to new people because the anxiety gets the best of you and you want your hair to be perfect! I did a Google search and I found this salon pretty close to my house and I talked to Mallory at the salon salon n she made me comfortable enough to book an appointment with her. I've been seeing Dacia for about 6 months and love her! My office is next door and for years have watched watched happy clients leave with vibrant hair colors and the latest styles. I'm more conservative because of work but always loved all the cool colors they use and decided to make a change from my stylist. When I came in I was blonde and wanted to go back brunette. Previously, every other stylist I used would tell me "it's a process" and would take multiple appointments to achieve the look requested. Dacia is a true color professional and I left my first appointment with beautiful brunette color and my hair felt the healthiest it had in years from the high quality products she uses. Since my first appointment I've also added a few highlights to brighten my color and I love how she blends them so they look natural. I've also brought my daughter to Dacia for color correction on a poor dye job she received elsewhere and Dacia was patient and took her time to fix the balayage and blend in the color. I also bring my son to The List and he sees Sarah. She is so upbeat and listens to him ramble on and is the first stylist to cut the back of his neck just perfectly. All of her clients I've seen look gorgeous walking out. If you are looking for vibrantly colored hair, the newest style, or just a bison cut and color, this is the best salon in town. read more

I highly recommend Deanna at The List Salon for a men's haircut! I have spent the past year or so bouncing around from barber-to-barber and a number of other hair salons trying to find the right fit and look for my hair. Deanna proactively consulted with me about the look I wanted to achieve and walked me through the approach, which is something I haven't experienced before. This made all the difference in finally getting exactly the look I've been wanting. Some other great touches are the hot face towel when getting shampooed and the neck massage afterward! This place is amazing! A little background: I've been looking for a hairstylist ever since I moved to Las Vegas about 5 months ago and my family is visiting this week. I called 10 am to check if they can take my grandmother in for a haircut and color and a haircut for me. They responded with an appointment for us at 1200 and 1230. We got to the hair salon and they started on working on both of our hair! Dacia was the very knowledgeable with her craft and helped me decide on the length appropriate for my liking (my hair was down to my waist prior to coming in). She shared information about hair products for me and we had a fun conversation throughout the session. Dacia is super down to earth as I did not know or even suspected her to be the owner of the salon until after receiving her business card! Sarah worked on my grandmother's hair. My grandmother speak very little English which made communication difficult for Sarah. She was patient with my grandmother and made her look 10 years younger! I got my hair done today by Erica...she did an amazing job. She listened to my concerns of previous mishaps by other stylist. Took her time to see exactly how to cut my hair. I showed her 2 picture ideas of what I wanted and she nicely explained that because of my hair texture and all it would not be like the picture. She picked a combination style of both photos..it looks so nice an a definite style. So far all that have seen my hair love it... she even considered my personality while cutting it... I've been getting my hair done here for the last 2 years here. I love it. Kellee is incredible and has a great sense of humor. She has taken my hair from black, to adding blonde...to black and red....to black with pink, blue, and purple panels. The sky is the limit. I also love the vibe here. Everyone is relaxed...it isn't a rigid, chain joint that offers budget cuts with no unique qualities. Since they've moved, I love that it's a bigger salon compare to their old location..and also that it has tvs and a place to sit and wait and relax for your hair to process....They also offer facials !! Kellee did my mom and sister's hair for her wedding and Lana did their makeup. It was impeccable. My sister pointed out how professional Lana was and her tools and case were kept immaculately clean. Been coming here for a while and like it here. But this is ridiculous. Charging their customers these fee's without them knowing. Will not be coming here anymore. For the cost of service I expected more. I wanted a particular style and after getting my hair done by Lanita it looks like I'm wearing a wig. This was my first time having my hair treated and now I am having to go somewhere else to fix the damage Lanita did. She was supposed to highlight my hair and cut it. It was done horribly and is copper, orange, and there is uneven coloring throughout. She was pushy, didn't listen to what I wanted, and said she had to go do other stuff so she couldn't even finish my haircut. I'm a pushover and just kept saying okay when she said that she would do it next time. She was also talking about inappropriate things that made me feel very uncomfortable. I don't want to be rude but Lanita needs to go back to school and listen more to what customers want. Avoid her at all costs unless you want to pay for an overpriced wig. read more

Went to come and see Sandy, had a bad experience at another salon cause they didn't do my color nor my cut correctly. Sandy was very professional and listen to my concerns about having the 2 colors and the weird cut. She was able to come up with a solution for the color and the cut. And it looks amazing, it was also nice that I was able to get an appointment right away. I really enjoy the atmosphere here everyone is so friendly and down to earth. I had a fantastic first experience here. Lanita cut my hair and I loved it. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and was super thorough which I appreciated. I made a second appointment which was right after they moved locations. The address wasn't updated on Google and no one answered the phone, not even an answering machine. No one called to confirm before or check in after. I let it go because they just moved and probably were still getting situated. I made a third appointment. I was left a voicemail confirming my appt which was great. They said to call back and I did....but acted like it was stupid of me to call when THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD ME TO DO. I am notoriously picky about who touches my hair. After a few failed attempts to find someone who wouldn't just give me a variation on the same cut and color, I found Sam at Shag Me Salon and I knew instantly that I'd found my beauty spirit animal ;) I've now been getting "mah hurr did" by her for several years and the experience has been nothing short of amazing every single time. I always get exactly what I want and she's always good with making suggestions along the way to make sure I leave feeling like a hot little boss. Because of Sam, I have felt brave enough to try different styles that are completely out of the box and she always knows exactly what to do to make them look as polished and beautiful as possible. Unfortunately, I spend a great deal of time outside of Las Vegas now so I don't get to have her work her unicorn magic on my hair as much as I'd like (and no one anywhere else even comes close to how wonderful and skilled she is), but I would highly recommend her, or any of the amazing stylists at Shag Me, to anyone who wants to look and feel their best. read more

The service is great and the price was really reasonable. I really like that most the stylists have colored hair (blue, purple, green). I've been going to shag me since I was 17. Legit, I've never seen someone leave this salon without fantastic hair. Everyone I've ever worked with did an amazing job and I've watched them do some real artistic designs while my color or curls set. Sam has been my color artist and she's always wonderful. Stopped in to The List Salon for the first time today. I had an appointment for a facial with Stacey Decker. The salon was very busy, but Stacey's room was nice and quiet. After getting set up and comfortable, she went through a short series of questions about allergies, sensitivities, etc. which I really appreciated. Stacey also took the time to listen to my concerns and questions about the process and the products being used. The session was for an hour and included a hand massage. Since she's running a special right now, I was also able to get a brow wax in as well. (Bonus!) Stacey was fantastic and I ended up grabbing some gift certificates as well (Xmas is coming!!). I would absolutely recommend paying her a visit. I've already booked my next appointment. read more

I have been wanting to dye my hair a fun color since I was a kid. After finding Samantha's instagram and all of her incredible work, I finally pulled the trigger... and I couldn't be happier! I was lucky enough that I had already taken my hair blonde enough that the purple/ lilac ombre took well and easily. It's a lot to maintain but it's worth it! The first time I went to shag me in 2008 my hair was trashed. I was flying in extensions, a long but also super fun night out the extensions were falling out and at the time it seemed a good idea to just squeeze the black latex glue on the tracks and stick it back to my head. Oh my I showed up to shag me in desperate need and Marci sweet as she is also amazing gentle and professional. The next time I came to shop after fucking up my hair Sam hooked me up and at 28 I had never left a salon chair without thinking, it'll be ok when it fads, it'll grow out. My color my cut perfect. Since 2008 Sam has been great at making my hair boring and basic I was military so it has to be. But that doesn't mean it wasn't perfectly highlighted blondish brown, platinum blonde and black just never all 3 at one time After 13 years in the military I couldn't wait to go to return to shag me and let Sam work her magic! I went in today to get a new color and wasn't sure how long or who would do my hair, so I was pretty nervous. As soon as I came through the door, I was greeted and properly introduced to Mallory. They took me in earlier than my appointment, since I got there pretty early in case I couldn't find my way there. Mallory was just awesome! She was great with my hair, gave me tips on how to make the color last longer, and was super attentive to your needs. I will definitely be coming back to see her! Oh and the salon was super cool. Very chill and laid back vibe. Makes you feel at home and comfortable with everyone who works there or is in there getting their hair done. It's pretty far from where I live, but it's totally worth the drive. And the prices are great; the results are worth every penny. read more
