Meg was the florist for our wedding last weekend in Malibu. She was incredible to work with from start to finish. Most importantly, the floral arch, the table arrangements, the bridal bouquet, the corsages and boutonnieres and all the greenery around the space were stunning. She was able to take our design preferences and execute so so elegantly. She never upsold and worked creatively within our budget. So professional and easy to work with. And just so so good at her job. She really shone as a professional when 5 days out from the wedding there was an inch of rain expected on our wedding day and we were planning a move to an indoor space. Meg worked so quickly with us to pivot and adapt the floral design for the new space. We ended up being able to us the original outdoor venue after all after the storm came in later than initially forecast, but what an incredible person to have on your team if the unexpected happens. Little Branch was our florist for our wedding last month, and I don't think we could've been happier with how everything turned out. Our venue recommended them for their experience in hanging glass orbs with candles from the ceiling for the reception. We knew we wanted the orbs, but only had a loose vision for what we wanted the florals to look like. We went to Meg (the owner) with the inputs of: "tropical adjacent", light and airy, and a color scheme, honestly not really even knowing what that could look like ourselves (we also knew very little about flowers in general). Meg patiently asked us a lot of good questions to help tease out what we liked and didn't like, and gave us more language to talk about what we wanted, and then we left it in her hands. I know it's cliché to say, but the results blew us away. For real, we didn't actually think we could like flowers as much as we loved what her team created. Everything from the bouquets, table arrangements with cool votives/ vases, ceremony ground pieces, and flower crowns for our flower adults brought so much warmth and beauty to the space. We wanted something whimsical and not quite traditional, while still being elegant, and they nailed it. We received so many unsolicited compliments on the flowers from our guests (all ages). I really don't think that I've ever heard people compliment flowers at people's weddings too much before. They are normally an expected and beautiful decoration, but don't grab attention. These caught attention in all the right ways. They weren't a distraction, but really elevated the ceremony and reception. I hope I don't get married ever again, but I do hope I get to go to another event that Little Branch helps bring to life. read more

Meg provided the flowers for our wedding last month and they were absolute stunners. From the very beginning, Meg was receptive and delightful to work with. We wanted vibrant colors, and arrangements that evoked still life art pieces. For our arch we wanted something that was bright, not overly manicured, and abundant with flowers. Above all, we wanted floral arrangements that complimented/enhanced the beauty of our wedding venue. We had a consultation session where we shared general ideas and descriptions of our vision for the wedding, along with any pinterest pictures we had saved. In her proposal Meg captured a lot of our vision and provided us a comprehensive cost breakdown for each item that we wanted. We were also able to visit her studio to take a look at vases, candles, and other items to accompany our arrangements. We also scheduled a mock-up consultation to get an idea of what the centerpiece arrangements would look like. When I saw the mock centerpiece for the first time, I was floored. She perfectly captured the vision and it truly looked like a piece of art. I distinctly remember her asking if I had any feedback of things I liked, disliked, or would like to change, and I told her that it was perfect as is. For the day of the wedding, all of the flowers were a dream come true and she perfectly captured what we wanted. I could not help but stare at the arch throughout parts of my own ceremony because it was so mesmerizing and beautiful! As for my and my spouse's bouquets, we were in love with how they complimented one another and also captured the full, vibrant color scheme we sought in our florals. So many of our guests were also enamored with the arch and the centerpieces - in fact, most, if not all, of the centerpieces were taken home by our guests. I wish I was able to take a centerpiece home but given that we were flying out for our honeymoon, it meant the world to know that the flowers were so well loved and appreciated by our guests. From the moment we first met with Meg over the phone, we knew we'd found the perfect floral artist for our wedding. She had been highly recommended by our wedding planner, Deanna Nash. We'd also seen her Instagram and were really blown away with some of the unique and creative things she'd done for other couples, but could she do the same for us? The answer was a definite YES and from our very first phone call, we were confident that she understood the assignment. We'd gathered inspiration photos and ideas, and over the coming months, we traded phone calls and emails. Our end-goal was to have something that was unique to us - two grooms. We wanted tablescapes that were mature, edgy, full and lush - but not ordinary wedding - aka white roses, hydrangeas, orchids, etc.... Flash forward to a few months before the wedding when we went down to Meg's studio with our wedding planner...and we were blown away by how accurate she had interpreted our vision for our wedding florals. She got every detail and more - almost bringing us both to tears. With great anticipation, our wedding day came - and we were stunned with the florals throughout our wedding. Feathers interspersed in our arrangements added movement, mushrooms and ferns added a touch of wild, and the dark, golden and taupe roses were anything but ordinary. Based on our requests, Meg created an amazing floral installation on the fireplace mantle as well as around the chandeliers. Everything was simply outrageous in all the best ways! And for us grooms, Meg created not one, not two, but three different boutonnières to choose from - above and beyond the calling! And after the ceremony, her team dismantled the wedding arch and aisle runners to repurpose throughout the ballroom. We had THE BEST experience with Meg & The Little Branch. Searching for reasonably priced florists was such a frustrating, disheartening experience - until we found The Little Branch. The rates were reasonable, Meg was sharp and knowledgeable and kind, and didn't pressure us to do something bigger than we wanted. We also sprang an unusual request on only a few weeks out, asking to help provide flowers for our rehearsal dinner the night before. She helped us put the plan together, making it a 2-for-1, where we were able to use the rehearsal dinner flowers the next day for the wedding as well. And she let us have our friends p/u the rehearsal dinner flowers (since there weren't too many), avoiding a delivery charge. And most importantly, the flowers on the wedding day were excellent. When I learned about The Little Branch and saw Meg's work on her Instagram, I knew immediately that I had to book her as my florist!! I was pretty indecisive and had no direction with my floral vision, but somehow Meg read my mind and executed everything the way I wanted it! The process was fairly simple, and Meg is a very straight forward person. I will admit though that TLB charges a bit more than average. I decided to overlook that and went slightly above my budget because her work is just amazing. One of the components I looked forward to most on wedding day was the flowers of course... and Meg did not disappoint. The flowers really pulled the wedding together. Many guests took photos of the flowers and tablescape! Overall I'm SUPER happy with the way it turned out. She was even thoughtful and prepared extra boutonnieres for the hot August day. Such a good call! One thing to keep in mind though is that if you're on a tight budget, TLB might not be the right florist for you. I did notice that she said she would only design the flowers based on palette and style, not whatever is in season. Also, some of the florals were waaay overpriced. I had dinosaur magnet placecards and she had a great idea of having a fern arrangement and charged me $105. I was expecting something cool like dinosaurs hiding in ferns but I only got maybe 5 ferns... it was kind of sad and sparse. And ferns cost only like $5 from home depot... In the end though, Meg is a true artist!! She is the plant whisperer that'll make your wedding magical. read more
