Jay's team did an incredible job with our wedding ceremony and reception flowers. My wife had a very specific vision, and the venue made things tricky with its high ceilings and widely spaced beams. Despite the challenges, City Flowers brought everything to life beautifully. The vibe was exactly what we wanted, and so many of our guests complimented the floral setup. If you want your wedding to feel like a dream come true, City Flowers is the team to make it happen.

Jay and his team worked hard to make our wedding day beautiful! I loved all the floral arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets, etc. He was a great communicator and our meeting with him was very quick and productive. They definitely seemed like they have a lot of experience and the fact that they've worked with our venue several times was a huge plus for us. I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked! Note that they are located in K-town so you'd need to account for LA traffic when meeting up with them or looking to book them for your venue. Our wedding was in Palos Verdes, but they managed to get there in a timely manner and even arrived earlier to ensure everything could be set up on time. Our only negative experience with them is that they dropped off the flowers (bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres) at the ceremony venue an hour earlier than they were supposed to and did not communicate that with us. This was unfortunate because there was a different couple getting married at that time and in order to avoid confusion with the 2 weddings, the chapel moved the flowers elsewhere and we were thrown off when the flowers were not where Jay said they would be. I had to do my first look without my bouquet for this reason, which wasn't really a big deal but it would've been nice to have been able to do it with my "complete" look. Other than that, flowers are beautiful, the team knows what they're doing, and price was decent (for a 200-guest wedding and taking into consideration pandemic/inflation-related price hikes from suppliers).

Jay and his team did a spectacular job with bringing our vision to life! With his many years of experience, we trusted his expertise with only sharing a few inspo photos for our wedding. Pricing was also very reasonable and the quality of the flowers were exceptional! On our wedding day, we received nothing but compliments from our family and friends. Thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful! Looking back, we only have smiles on our faces!

Jay was great to work with. He is very responsive and provides plenty of great feedback. He understood our vision and has a great understanding of colors and styles. He gave great recommendation on the bridal bouquet based on the client. And he gave good recommendations on the floral arrangements based on our budget and preference. Given his experience, there is a high likelihood that he has already worked on the venue you have selected. We were so pleased with the final product on our wedding day.

OBSESSED. I was so impressed with Jay's work and recommend him to all of my friends who are in the wedding planning process. He was very easy to work with, responsive, friendly, and was overall a joy to work with! Jay asked what vision or flowers I had in mind for our wedding and I pulled up an instagram post from a previous wedding he did and said I wanted something similar but less pink and more blush/white. And boy did he deliver! On our wedding day and now looking back at photos, I am just in awe of how beautiful and immaculate the florals were. Not to mention, I have received so many compliements after the wedding about how amazing the flowers were. I absolutely was in love with my bouquet and understand how pricey bridal bouquets can be because it was packed full of luscious flowers and quite heavy. Also another sweet thing was that originally my husband and I opted not to get the lighted LED candles (even though Jay kept mentioning it would look even better with them), and day of Jay ended up bringing them anyway, at no extra charge. He was 100% correct, because adding the LED candlelight made the reception space much more delicate and intimate with the flowers. In all, Jay is a wizard who can make your wedding floral dreams come true! We are so thankful to have worked with him and am still obsessing over these florals.

Jay and his team were amazing!! Our flowers looked insane on our wedding day. Attaching a picture for you to see :) Jay's quote came in a lot lower than other floral shops in LA and they were HIGH quality flowers. He also was kind enough to come to our venue a few weeks prior to make sure he understood my vision. If you are getting married or have an event that needs flowers in LA, reach out to Jay and don't hesitate booking him.

We used City Flowers for our wedding in November and they were wonderful. We didn't have a huge vision for what we wanted for our flowers. Our main instructions were "beautiful" and boy did they deliver. Everything was gorgeous. Jay handled the flowers and also candles for the centerpieces. He pulled the fire permit for the candles and made sure that we followed everything to code. The groom asked for poppies for the boutonnieres, and while they weren't in season Jay offered a similar option that was fabulous. They also provided flowers for the cake and it couldn't have been more beautiful. All deliveries and clean-up were seamless and they worked well with our coordinators as well as the venue. Hire City Flowers and your wedding will be beautiful.

Jay was our florist for our wedding on September 2, 2021. He is simply the best florist ever! His flowers are works of art and are just so beautiful to look at! They really made our venue come to life. He was able to work with our budget to create these beautiful masterpieces, and we were especially impressed with the floral arch at our ceremony and our tables because he set up the flowers with a lot of candles that made the reception feel very elegant. Overall, we've been working with Jay for 2-3 years for this big day, and he's been communicative and helpful throughout the stressful planning process with COVID. I would highly recommend him to anyone! THANK YOU City Flowers LA!

I cannot thank Jay enough for the spectacular work that he did on our wedding flowers 9/22/18!! The pictures are proof of this. But I will do some talking... the entire planning process, his patience, his knowledge and overall expertise was priceless. Jay is truly an artist. My (now) husband & I met with three other florists before deciding on Jay. His quote and skill-level were unmatched. You will not receive a better price for this high quality of flowers. Even with the planning meetings there was no way that I could prepare myself for the day-of reveal. We were running late and unable to see the wedding venue decor before the guests arrived (filed under things we couldn't avoid day of). My officiant and DOC told me it looked unbelievable. But when I walked down my wedding aisle, I literally stopped, gasped, and whispered to my father not so quietly, "It's soooo beautiful," because I was that floored. I am a perfectionist and envisioned this day for such a long time, and it was more than I could have imagined. Jay, you're the best, and we cannot thank you enough! My guests could not stop talking about how amazing the flowers were. Jay was hands down, one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Brides-to-be your wedding flowers set the stage for your venue, your pictures, your everything. Just call him.. you won't regret it.

I have seen Jay's work at some of my friends' weddings so I already knew how stunning his works are. Although my venue for my own wedding had a preferred florist, I wanted to work with Jay and that was the best decision I made!! He reviewed my pinterest and example pictures I had for our theme colors and bouquet styles and I didn't even have to explain all the details and he already knew how to make it even more beautiful. He made our wedding more stunning than I expected and the moment I saw my bridal bouquet, I was AMAZED! I got so many compliments on our wedding and how beautiful it was, thanks to City Flowet!! City Flower is the place to go for your wedding! Just trust him and he will work his magic.

My wedding planner recommended City Flowers and they were truly amazing. Jay has a lot of expertise and experience, and if your venue is in the LA area, he likely has done that venue before. He was able to make recommendations based on some ideas my wedding planner has. Their centerpieces are large and full (some other places' centerpieces are very small). Our guests all complimented our flowers, and thought we spent 2x what we actually spent. Though wedding florals are generally not cheap, City Flower's price was actually very reasonable. Depending on the season, some premium flowers may be included as well. On our wedding day, Jay and his team came earlier than scheduled and one person stayed behind to clean up. I am very impressed by them and would highly recommend them.

If you want beautiful flowers at a great price and no worries at all then choose Jay and City Flowers as your wedding vendor. Jay is a flower artist and I had all the faith in the world after meeting him and seeing his work. We met with him twice before the wedding with the 2nd time being when he showed us a mock centerpiece and we were thrilled with his creation. For the wedding his team created a beautiful infinity arch and then transferred it to the reception as well. In total we had 15 bouquets, about 15 centerpieces, a very long head table outfitted with amazing flowers and much more. All the flowers were breathtaking and we received so many compliments on them. Jay listened to want we wanted while implementing his knowledge of what would work best for the time of year. Our wedding was in September and was hot but you would never know by how beautiful the flowers continued to look. Using City Flowers was a great decision and we have even used them for other events because they are so amazing and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I want to make this an easy post to review for those who are truly considering where to buy flowers for a special occasion, but still want to provide enough detail to convey just how amazing City Flowers is. Here I go: Rating: The 5 stars across the board are completely heartfelt. I 100% vouch for each of those stars so please consider them seriously to get an idea of what my experience was with City Flowers. Noteworthy: Jay Kim is a consummate professional. He is honest, realistic, no fuss, and more importantly passionate about his craft and his business. I went to various florist who would not commit to including the majority of flowers I wanted either because they claimed they wouldn't be in season or beyond my budget to obtain. After seeing 5 florists, all except Jay agreed to include the beautiful raw cotton stems in my bouquet. Budget: Listen carefully, nobody leaves a florist and thinks, oh that was inexpensive. Flowers are not inexpensive but they make such a huge difference and if it's important to you, you must make the investment. However, that being said, I didn't have a huge budget, but what I got for my budget was beyond what I ever imagined. Top notch flowers, great quantity (no skimping, no empty spaces filled with filler greenery). The flowers were robust and elegant and so fresh. Jay even included a rose of a mustard or burnt orange tint that everyone swore did not exist. Lastly, the pictures speak for themselves. I hope you have enough information to give this florist a shot, I promise you won't regret it.

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that. When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

The floral stands do come with arrangements. They have a sash that comes free or you can get more of a professional style for an additional fee. I highly recommend ordering arrangements here. Pricewise for my order was great. For an extra large arrangement with added additional flowers including delivery and sash was 250.00. Only feedback is their delivery prices are a bit high and it can be tough to get the desired delivery time but that may be due to it being a small run business so it's the actual owner I believe who hand delivers some of the orders which is rare and cool. I ordered 2, one delivered to Monterey park which was $30 for delivery and the other was originally supposed to be delivered to the apartment building literally across the street (Tokyo Villa) and they were going to charge me $20 so I opted to pick it up after work and deliver them myself.

I'm very late at leaving a comment but honestly Daniel is amazing! I called to make an appointment,…read moreI showed up a bit earlier than expected and he went ahead and helped me out. First off he started with cleaning a table and sitting us down (other places didn't even bother to stop what they were doing). He then asked what date we needed the flowers( wedding-occasion) he didn't want to lead us on and deliver a half worked job If he was overly booked. Luckily he wasn't! We then went on by showing him what we wanted and the specific flowers. We wanted peonies but it wasn't its season anymore the wedding was in September so we just missed it's peak. He was very straight forward about the flowers and that he would try and get what we wanted but would let us know if he couldn't. We didn't get the color specifically we wanted but he worked his magic to make it look just as perfect. All in all the bouquet was everything we wanted! Would highly recommend. Ps, read about the yelper for Valentine's Day I mean come on let's be realistic don't show up the day off and expect and bouquet there and then specially if he's a highly booked person.

I am so happy to have worked with Daniel at 4 Seasons. Flowers can be a large expense for a wedding…read moreand my now husband and I were on a budget. The pricing was reasonable and I can confidently say that I was in love with my wedding flowers. Daniel took the time to make us a sample, after paying him a deposit for the service. He took our feedback and always informed us of methods to get the look we wanted and still cut costs. Daniel is funny and friendly. He loves cats and having them around the business is only a bonus. This is coming from a couple that loves animals, of course. Delivery and installation was perfect and he took the time to check in with me during prep. I read reviews and made sure I called and made an appointment. This was helpful because he does get very busy. Thank you, Daniel!
