When I say this bakery is good I could talk about the pastries that look like art, the flaky layers full of quality butter, the friendly and fast service, or their wonderful combinations of rich flavors. But it might be best to describe it by saying that as a mom with a young toddler, I would rearrange his nap time to make it to this bakery during traffic - it's that good.

I saw the wife had started posting on TikTok and the lawsuit and I finally got to try this spot a few weeks ago and I've gone another time since then! This place is so good and I'm happy to support a small business! The first time I tried the red berry croissant , Nutella, cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, mushroom/thyme/bacon, and the ham and cheese! My favorite was the red berry croissant because it was filled with delicious cream but a bit messy to eat. The mushroom one I still think about! Must try! It was a little oily but it's like a condensed cream of mushroom soup in a perfect croissant layer crispy bread.! The chocolate croissant is not too sweet and the ham and cheese is pretty light on filling, but I'm used to those donut shop ham and cheese croissants which are massive. The Nutella one was pretty hard to eat because it's covered in Nutella on top and then filled with more Nutella but overall it's still good. You'll probably just get Nutella on your face! Haha. The second time I tried the crème brûlée which is filled with vanilla custard inside, and some of it is torched on top with sugar, and then the pistachio cream danish which had pistachio cream inside that tasted more like a sweet almond, but it was still very nicely laminated. I got a few for some friends and I hope they enjoyed them. I like that they have a buy five get one free special right now. They also have seasonal drinks and coffee/lattes for you to take along with your pastries. I hope they succeed over everything because I appreciate all the hard work and the deliciousness of their craft.

This past Sunday, my wife and I went to The Little Cake Bakery & Cafe before heading to the the Brentwood farmers market. We got there at 8:30 AM. There were a few customers in line. They had a full display of all their pastries. A week ago, I got there at 11:50 and almost everything was sold out. I ordered a butter croissant and my wife ordered a blueberry scone. My croissant was perfect. Crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside. Not overly buttery on the taste and not burnt on the bottom. My wife said that was the best scone she ever had. A week ago, I had the ham and cheese croissant. It was just as good. This is a hidden gem. I rate Little Cake & Bakery higher than some of the best bakeries in LA and OC. Their prices are very reasonable. Two pastries and a great cup of coffee latte was only $16.00. DJ's rating: 4.65/5.00 Would we come back? Definitely Yes.

Drove by here one morning and decided to stop in, such a good decision! The pastry cases were well lit and full of beautiful and delicious looking goodies, so trying not to go overboard was hard. The staff was friendly and helpful in their recommendations of what their own favorites were. The pastries were good sized and flakey and melted in your mouth. The mushroom & bacon one and the dulce de leche were my personal favorites, but they also make a really solid chocolate chip cookie!

I saw this little bakery on my socials, and decided to finally try it out. Walking in, I'm blown away by the vast array of pastries. It was so difficult to choose from so many options! Butter Croissant - I love how cute the shape is; it's crispy, flakey, and fluffy on the inside. Such great laminations and technique here. By tasting this, I knew what to expect for the remaining croissants. Jalapeno, Sausage, and Cheese Croissant - I'm a sucker for a ham & cheese croissant, so it was nice to see this variation on the menu. The sausage had a nice heat level to it. Almond Croissant - The almond flavor is prominent here, especially in the filling. Loved it! Tastes even better warmed. Swiss Pastry Croissant - This one was unique as there's custard & chocolate in it. I actually enjoyed this one cold as opposed to warm, because I was able to taste the custard more. Would recommend getting this one for something unique. Spinach & Feta Croissant - Perfect amount of spinach and feta ratio to the croissant. Loved this warmed up too. Chocolate Chip Cookie - The only non-croissant item I grabbed from my order; it's a giant cookie and was thick and chewy. Really good! They were doing a promotion where if you buy 5 pastries you get the 6th one free (of equal value or less). From viewing their social media, it does seem that they do sell out so I recommend visiting earlier in the day so you can snag your favorites.

I've been seeing this bakery on my socials and the baked goods always looked AMAZING. Also seeing the love and care that the owners had taken to make quality offerings was also a motivator. I walked in and was greeting with a smile and really felt welcome. The selection was a bit daunting but I wasn't pressured at all. So many delicious looking choices ,I wish I could have taken one of each. The bakery is clean and the parking is great. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I chose some savory options along with some sweet ones. I really liked the baked goods and the service I will definitely be back!

Our bike group rode to this place for sweets and I was really impressed by the presentation and elegant shapes. We were served quickly despite the number of people we brought. I get that its the type of place where you grab and go, but it would of been nice if there were some tables outside. We all stood in the parking lot eating our sweets. I had a raisin roll. Recommend stopping by if your in the area.

On a Sunday morning in March, my sister wanted to check out a French bakery in Commerce. We drove there and its in a small shopping center next to border of bell gardens. The parking lot is small and it was busy inside. The various pastries were displayed in the glass counter. We bought chocolate croissants, scone, banana loaf. The owner was nice and helped us. I took a bite of chocolate croissant and it was buttery and flaky. I saved half and out it in the air fryer to warm it up.

Social media brought me here and I'm glad. Unfortunately, drove here on one of their closed days last week before they announced they were updating their store hours temporarily to accommodate their surprisingly busy sales. As of right now (11/6/2025), they're only open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday& Sunday. So we came back today to give it a try and it did not disappoint. They're having a special of buy 5 pastries get the 6th one free, not sure how long that'll run for. Jalapeno, Sausage & Cheese -if you love Asian hotdog buns, you'll love this one. The cheese really brings everything together. Jalapenos weren't too spicy, it added more of a different depth to it. Ham & Cheese -surprisingly they used real ham, not deli sandwich meat ham. Added a bit of smokiness into the croissant. Spinach & Feta - hands down the best I've had. it was what I expected but better the pastry is what brings it to life. Perfectly buttery, not greasy. Flakey but still moist on the inside and crisp outside. You can really taste the spinach and feta. Raisin Swirl -chef's kiss, there was some sort of custard holding it together that blended so well. They use golden raisins. If you normally don't like raisins, this one might be an exception. Almond Croissant -whole toasted almonds in filling which added just the right amount of crunchy texture. Overall pastry wasn't too sweet. Nutella Croissant -filled pretty hefty but surprisingly not too sweet. Swiss Pastry -it's custard and chocolate chips. I wasn't too much of a fan of this one, I personally think without the chocolate chips would better. But someone that loves chocolate might like this one better. Chocolate Chip Cookie -soft but slight crisp and chew, perfect texture. You can really taste browned butter shine through a generous amount of chocolate chip. Surprisingly not too sweet either. Blueberry Scone -was way too moist and fluffy for a scone. It would have been much better if they put that batter into muffin liners and made it as muffins.

First time here. I came across the page on tik tok and realized I was 7 min away had to come . Everything looks so tasty. I got the 4 pieces and they didn't disappoint ! I wish the blueberry scone was a bit more crunchier/toasted. The carrot loaf was delicious I love that it has nuts. The feta and cheese were also great I will come back for another one forsure. They did have a sale buy 5 get 1 free. I was tempted to get the 5th pastry but that would have been too many for myself. The service was great they were welcoming and noticed I was hesitant about what to pick and asked if I had any questions. Prices are written on the lil sign that's also a plus. Its a small and cozy bakery just right.

I would never order matcha anyway since I'm very picky but I would order one next time. No powdery texture it was drinkable. Cookie butter ? latte was good too. Nothing was overly sweet. My coconut cold brew float was pretty good. 50% sweetened like the girl who took our ordered recommended was just right and our dads latte was really good too! The baristas did a great job making our requests. Solid little spot I'd comeback. Matcha has a beautiful color but not as umami as I like so I'll probably get it without the strawberry see how it is if you like it more umami. Also very clean!

I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community

However, I decided to give this café a try because East LA cafés are rare, and I wanted to support this particular business. I ordered a matcha, a coffee for my sister, and a few baked goods. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The matcha was poor quality, the coffee was mediocre, and the baked goods tasted like items from Ralphs or Costco. They seemed almost stale, were clearly not baked in-house, and lacked everything you'd expect from a baked item from a café. What was especially frustrating was that the matcha et al. is priced as if it were ceremonial grade, despite the quality being far below that standard. The bakery items are prepackaged products arranged to fit the café's aesthetic rather than freshly made offerings. The space itself is cute, and the woman who helped us was very kind. However, the quality of the food and drinks simply does not justify the prices. I really wanted to like this place and support a local East LA café, but the overall experience fell FAR short of expectations.
