This is honestly one of the best bakeries I've ever been to! I was so excited to try them when I first saw that they had opened, and I've been coming back ever since. One piece of advice: come early! If you want the full selection of their authentic French pastries, you definitely have to get there earlier in the day because they do sell out, and for good reason. Everything is incredibly fresh, buttery, flaky, and delicious. You can genuinely tell that the baker and his wife love what they do and take pride in the quality of everything they make. My family and I are huge fans, and I also stop by pretty often to bring some of these little treasures to my coworkers. They are always a hit! Some of my favorites are the red berry croissant, the ham and cheese croissant, mushroom, bacon and thyme, spinach and feta, and of course the classic butter croissant. But my absolute favorite is the almond glazed croissant. So good! I also LOVE the maple pecan cookies. Everything I've tried has been fresh, flavorful, and such a treat. I was seriously having withdrawals when they were closed for two weeks, so I'm very glad they're back! Service is fast and servers are very kind and helpful. You really cannot go wrong with anything from here. The pastries are top-notch, the ingredients and craftsmanship are clearly high quality, and it has quickly become one of my favorite local bakeries. Best pastries in the industry. I don't think I've ever had a pastry as magnificent, beautiful, and delicious tasting as this bakery. It was a hidden gem until I found it. I used to go all the way out to the beach for a specific bakery that was pretty good, but after having this bakery, I don't think I've ever had to drive back that far ever again. Croissants are buttery, flaky, the lamination is awesome. These are the absolute best! I think the fresh berries croissant has to be the best croissant I've ever had, berries are fresh, the jam is a perfect addition to. My girlfriend and I have to stop by early Saturday mornings and grab ourselves some savory croissants. She's a huge fan of the mushroom and thyme. I prefer the ham and cheese. Both are great options. POP OFF, Little Cake Bakery & Cafe! This has been on my list for some time now and I'm so glad I finally decided to visit. This is a small, French bakery, owned by a husband and wife. They bake everything fresh daily, and you can really tell how much they love their craft. The bakery is so cute. It gives such a a warm and comfy vibe. The girls manning the front counter are also so sweet and answer any questions you have about the pastries. Of course I had to get a mix of savory and sweet items. We selected the choquettes, banana loaf, blueberry scone, chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and the mushroom, bacon, and thyme. All of these were phenomenal. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. My absolute favorites were the choquettes, chocolate chip cookie, and mushroom, bacon, and thyme. The choquettes are a puff-like pastry topped with sugar pearls. They are so light and fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. Their chocolate chip cookie had a great fluffy texture and it's massive. I'm quite impressed with their chocolate in both the cookies and the chocolate croissant. You must get the mushroom, bacon, and thyme. The flavors work so well together and the flakiness of the croissant makes it an absolute dream. Apart from having amazing pastries, their coffee is also quite good. I had a hot latte with cinnamon syrup and it was perfect. I saw the wife had started posting on TikTok and the lawsuit and I finally got to try this spot a few weeks ago and I've gone another time since then! This place is so good and I'm happy to support a small business! The first time I tried the red berry croissant , Nutella, cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, mushroom/thyme/bacon, and the ham and cheese! My favorite was the red berry croissant because it was filled with delicious cream but a bit messy to eat. The mushroom one I still think about! Must try! It was a little oily but it's like a condensed cream of mushroom soup in a perfect croissant layer crispy bread.! The chocolate croissant is not too sweet and the ham and cheese is pretty light on filling, but I'm used to those donut shop ham and cheese croissants which are massive. The Nutella one was pretty hard to eat because it's covered in Nutella on top and then filled with more Nutella but overall it's still good. You'll probably just get Nutella on your face! Haha. The second time I tried the crème brûlée which is filled with vanilla custard inside, and some of it is torched on top with sugar, and then the pistachio cream danish which had pistachio cream inside that tasted more like a sweet almond, but it was still very nicely laminated. I got a few for some friends and I hope they enjoyed them. I like that they have a buy five get one free special right now. They also have seasonal drinks and coffee/lattes for you to take along with your pastries. This past Sunday, my wife and I went to The Little Cake Bakery & Cafe before heading to the the Brentwood farmers market. We got there at 8:30 AM. There were a few customers in line. They had a full display of all their pastries. A week ago, I got there at 11:50 and almost everything was sold out. I ordered a butter croissant and my wife ordered a blueberry scone. My croissant was perfect. Crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside. Not overly buttery on the taste and not burnt on the bottom. My wife said that was the best scone she ever had. A week ago, I had the ham and cheese croissant. It was just as good. This is a hidden gem. I rate Little Cake & Bakery higher than some of the best bakeries in LA and OC. I saw this little bakery on my socials, and decided to finally try it out. Walking in, I'm blown away by the vast array of pastries. It was so difficult to choose from so many options! Butter Croissant - I love how cute the shape is; it's crispy, flakey, and fluffy on the inside. Such great laminations and technique here. By tasting this, I knew what to expect for the remaining croissants. Jalapeno, Sausage, and Cheese Croissant - I'm a sucker for a ham & cheese croissant, so it was nice to see this variation on the menu. The sausage had a nice heat level to it. Almond Croissant - The almond flavor is prominent here, especially in the filling. Loved it! Tastes even better warmed. Swiss Pastry Croissant - This one was unique as there's custard & chocolate in it. I actually enjoyed this one cold as opposed to warm, because I was able to taste the custard more. Would recommend getting this one for something unique. Spinach & Feta Croissant - Perfect amount of spinach and feta ratio to the croissant. Loved this warmed up too. Chocolate Chip Cookie - The only non-croissant item I grabbed from my order; it's a giant cookie and was thick and chewy. Really good! They were doing a promotion where if you buy 5 pastries you get the 6th one free (of equal value or less). One of the absolute best croissants in LA! I've been following Little Cake Bakery on Instagram for a while, loving that they're local, but just hadn't had the chance to drop by. Today I was craving a good croissant, had some free time, and finally made it in around 9:30 AM. Even though a couple of items had already sold out, they still had a fantastic selection available. They currently have a buy 5, get 1 free deal (equal or lesser value)--I only walked in intending to get one pastry for myself, but I couldn't resist leaving with six! I'm a total croissant snob and have tried plenty of viral LA bakeries, but this is honestly top-tier. It hits that perfect contrast of super crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and beautifully buttery. A lot of other spots just don't get the crunch or butter flavor right, but this one nailed it. I also tried a slice of their carrot loaf, which was wonderfully thick and not overly sweet. Visited at 12pm on a Sunday and all that was left was 2 bags of pecan shortbread cookies and we took them. So worth it! The owner was so apologetic that it was all she had to offer but the cookies were delicious! This hidden, unassuming bakery absolutely blew our minds. Very friendly staff, a great selection of pastries and desserts; what more could you want? The bakery's process of ordering is a little different from other bakeries that we've been to. You order first, and then they'll call your name after they fulfill the order. Most other places, they ask you what you want, and then push you to the cashier. Not sure why it's done this way here... We ordered the coffee eclair, chocolate eclair, cinnamon brown sugar croissant roll, pain chocolate, and a butter croissant. This all came out to $31, which i thought was a little steep, but you really could tell that you were paying for better ingredients. The croissant was extremely flaky and buttery, and you really could taste the difference in the butter quality. The pain chocolate was just as good, with a delicious chocolate filling. The eclairs costed $7, which I thought was pretty steep, but they are quite large; the coffee was good, but the chocolate one was definitely the highlight. The showstopper for us was the cinnamon brown sugar roll. It was crispy, and the cinnamon and sugar had the perfect balance and ratio. Unfortunately, drove here on one of their closed days last week before they announced they were updating their store hours temporarily to accommodate their surprisingly busy sales. As of right now (11/6/2025), they're only open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday& Sunday. So we came back today to give it a try and it did not disappoint. They're having a special of buy 5 pastries get the 6th one free, not sure how long that'll run for. Jalapeno, Sausage & Cheese -if you love Asian hotdog buns, you'll love this one. The cheese really brings everything together. Jalapenos weren't too spicy, it added more of a different depth to it. Ham & Cheese -surprisingly they used real ham, not deli sandwich meat ham. Added a bit of smokiness into the croissant. Spinach & Feta - hands down the best I've had. it was what I expected but better the pastry is what brings it to life. Perfectly buttery, not greasy. Flakey but still moist on the inside and crisp outside. You can really taste the spinach and feta. Raisin Swirl -chef's kiss, there was some sort of custard holding it together that blended so well. They use golden raisins. If you normally don't like raisins, this one might be an exception. Almond Croissant -whole toasted almonds in filling which added just the right amount of crunchy texture. Overall pastry wasn't too sweet. Nutella Croissant -filled pretty hefty but surprisingly not too sweet. Swiss Pastry -it's custard and chocolate chips. I wasn't too much of a fan of this one, I personally think without the chocolate chips would better. But someone that loves chocolate might like this one better. Chocolate Chip Cookie -soft but slight crisp and chew, perfect texture. You can really taste browned butter shine through a generous amount of chocolate chip. Surprisingly not too sweet either. Blueberry Scone -was way too moist and fluffy for a scone. It would have been much better if they put that batter into muffin liners and made it as muffins. read more

I went to this place last week because I saw their delicious pastries on IG. I was there very early, like 7 ish and many of their pastries were almost sold out. I got almost every kind of pastries. The berry pastry with cream inside was really delicious, and it had enough filling. But my favorites were the bacon and mushroom! It has enough filling and croissant ratio and the chocolate chip cookies. I also got the ham and cheese and this one was my least favorite because I feel that there wasn't enough cheese and I like my ham thinly sliced. On a Sunday morning in March, my sister wanted to check out a French bakery in Commerce. We drove there and its in a small shopping center next to border of bell gardens. The parking lot is small and it was busy inside. The various pastries were displayed in the glass counter. We bought chocolate croissants, scone, banana loaf. The owner was nice and helped us. I discovered this place through an IG reel. I live closer to the west side but after a gym session at the Chuze in cudahy my husband and I made the drive. We arrived around 7am on a Saturday so we were able to get the pastries we wanted. We bought two Nutella croissants, a chocolate croissant, an almond croissant, a banana bread with chocolate chips slice, two chocolate chip cookies and some pistachio dessert. The ladies working behind the counter were lovely. We paid and were on our way. As soon as we got home we began tasting some of the pastries we bought. My daughter loved the Nutella croissant. It was so buttery and flaky. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious as well. They were crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. The almond croissant was really good as well. So I went to this bakery and they do have good pastries. They're good quality ingredients. That's what they are known for, but I do have to say that only buy what you're gonna eat that same day because for the same reason that they are good quality with no preservative pastries I would imagine,don't expect them to be soft the next day they will be hard and very still I do not recommend buying more than what you're gonna eat the same day . Wish would've known this before spending $90 a worth of pastries because I hosted the next day and I wanted to give these pastries part of my sweet options , but it was a complete waste of money and very disappointing because I really wanted deliver great quality pastries but unfortunately, I had tossed them away. Expected to pay minimum four dollars and up for per pastry. I think the most expensive one was the Barry one with the whipped cream on top and I think that was like $10 or almost $10. read more

Stopped by here on Sunday morning around 830am and there was a short line. Thankfully they still had all but one pastry remaining. I picked up a variety of pastries and they were all great. The croissants were so buttery and perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The employees were very nice and very quick in getting the line moving.
