I always come here randomly, parking isn't bad since theres a 40 minute pick up zone. Boba + Popcorn chicken is perfect on the go. They have all the basic boba and of course a little appetizer if you don't feel like eating heavy food court options. Service is usually one or two people but they are working as hard as they can, they get it done as quickly as possible. Parking is always a little congested on the weekends but worth a stop if you're in the mood for boba. We got the strawberry lemonade green tea and the yogo strawberry. I got the strawberry lemonade at 50% sweetness. I should have asked for 75% because of the tartness of the lemon. Otherwise both drinks were fine. Walking about the citadel outlets in 90 degree heat calls for something to hydrate with! This spot caught my attention to try their drinks. They offer milk tea, iced tea, slushies and smoothies. Also some food options as well! I liked that I was able to choose my sweetness level, I mean I'm already so sweet I did not want to drink something TOO sweet. They offer 25%, 50%, 75% sweetness levels. I ordered a pistachio milk tea with 75% sweetness. The cashier had informed us that the drinks were only water and powder mix, nothing was made milk. This was a little offputting to know I was paying for just a powder and water mix... I could have brought a water bottle and crystal light powder ahah. The drink was okay. It did not have a pistachio taste at all. There was a slight nuttiness to the water. It almost felt grainy too. Customer service was good, the cashier did answer all my questions. The very first boba spot I've ever tried growing up was Lollicup. I remember when it first opened down the street from me and the school I went to from K-12, that was THE boba spot in the valley. I was surprised to see it again at this outlet!! Although it seems that maybe they've rebranded? I guess they go by Lollicup Fresh now. This is located in the food court, line was basically out the door when we came by but the outlet in general was crazy busy! They don't have indoor seating since it's a tiny hole in the wall. You basically order your drinks/food, pick up at the counter and then find seating at the food court. I went for the classic Thai tea with boba and it's just as good as I remembered. Perfectly cooked boba as well! Nice and chewy with a nice strong and sweet Thai tea flavor. Grabbed some Taiwanese sausage snack for the road and it was perfect. I ordered the "crispy combo" on 08/24/25 at 5:28 pm & they did not cook it well, they forgot about my order and didn't get my order started until they realized my order # was not called. They gave me the popcorn chicken, fries, & tofu bites 3 seconds out of the oil & it was not edible as it was too hot, burning me. Drinks: We had the Lychee Wave and Lychee Volcano - it was a scorching day and apparently lychee was the only thing that was going to cool us down. I liked my drinks a lot, it was at 25% sweetness but still retained the flavor. The Lychee Volcano was at 100% and so sweet it gave me a headache, of course sweetness level is a matter of personal preference. Been to this place in citadel outlet twice and everytime brings a smile to our faces. My wife fell in love with this place when she tried the brown sugar soy milk boba. It reminded her of a drink similar to what we have back in the Phils. So far we have tried the thai boba, taro slush, the classic silky soy , watermelon blast and their drinks are exceptionally very good. Compared to the other boba places we've been, this place for us is the best so far. So many selection of drinks to choose from, too many to name, just check it out for yourselves. For sure the next time we'll go Citadel, we are going to try the others especially the fruit drinks. Everytime, they keep on adding new flavors like the mango and pineapple drinks. We have also tried their crispy combo of fries, popcorn chicken and tofu in medium spice and lemon pepper flavor and they were very tasty. Their takoyaki is one of the best takoyaki I have tried. I wish we have lollicup fresh here in the san fernando valley area. Staff are very nice.
