We absolutely love the little gym! My daughter isn't in daycare and was extremely shy with other people besides family. Enrolling her in the little gym was one of the best things we could've done for her. She has completely come out of her shell! She is more comfortable around other kids and adults. My daughter hadn't been enrolled long and when her class had their little award ceremony,they included her as well which made me feel really good. My daughter took a picture with her teacher that day and she would never have done that before. The little gym is also teaching her new skills weekly. It is a great way for my daughter and I to bond as well. It is affordable and the staff is so friendly! read more

While I love the concept of the Little Gym (we really enjoyed the Fort Worth SW location!), I would not recommend this location. We supported them as a small business when they had to close temporarily because of COVID and continued to pay. Unfortunately when we no longer had a schedule that allowed us to attend months later, they did not extend the same human courtesy and continued to charge us for classes we were unable to use. In comparison to the Ft Worth location that mailed my child a sweet handwritten farewell note when we moved, at the Mansfield location I can't even try to use all of the makeup classes that accumulated because I'm no longer a monthly paying member. Frustrating and makes me feel that they didn't care about my child at all, just the money. read more

This place was first class. I had never heard of them before this visit even though they are some in Houston. I don't go to many baby parties but since this was my grandson's 1st birthday party there was no way I was gonna miss it. The staff there is very good and patient with the little kids. Apparently there are agendas when you book that they provide. There is a padded room that as a parent will instantly put you at ease in the event your child may fall. Most of the children were just starting to walk or they were in crawling mode so they was a chance there could be some falling down. There is also another room that is set up for the children to eat. That's where the cake was as well as other finger food for the adults that were in attendance. There is a refrigerator and running water for your convenience. This was a new experiencing for me but I thought it was setup and handled very well. I would highly recommend them of you would like a location for a small kid to have a party. read more

We are so thrilled to have The Little Gym move closer to us in Mansfield! It could not have happened at a better time as we watch in awe of the Olympic gymnasts in Rio, with visions of our daughter on that stage. Realistically, TLG helps young children build confidence and coordination, and the only medal she's probably going to see in this event is the one TLG gave out at their Olympic Evening. Her recent birthday gave DD a chance to enjoy two different classes, Super Beasts for 30-36 month-old kids, and Fuzzy Bugs for 3-4 yo; the first taught by the energetic Ms. Rae and the second assisted by Ms Erin. While there's a LOT to love about The Little Gym, I wish they had a water fountain for the kids and shades for the wall of windows. Outside the control of TLG, a food business (say, a deli or coffee shop) on that strip would make a killing! read more

I have been taking my son to The Little Gym since he was 8 months (about 4 months now). We absolutely love it. It's an awesome way to connect with my baby, get active with him, learn what things he is starting to discover AND for him to get to socialize with kids his age-- which is hard to find for one year olds! We also had Bo's first birthday party here and it could not have been better! I dropped off my decor and they did everything! I just showed up when the party started, they kept all the kids moving and having a blast, and even made Bo feel super special. The helpers were all the sweetest as could be. I didn't pour one drink or clean up one destroyed cupcake! They even bagged all the presents! The Little Gym is truly an opportunity to have a unique and incredibly memorable bonding moment with your little one. A snapshot in time of pure joy I will remember forever! read more

This is a review for a birthday party. I am no longer a local so I haven't tried the classes at this location. I recently had my daughter's first birthday party at The Little Gym of Arlington. I had never attended a TLG party prior to booking so I was a little unsure of what to expect. The pros: they setup the party room, serve the drinks and cake, write down a present list making thank yous a breeze, and play games appropriate for the birthday girl's age or the kids attending. The cons: there is little time between parties before the switch. I would recommend increasing the time between parties by maybe another 15 minutes so their lobby isn't full with the last party leaving and new party coming. The first party of the day was already booked so I didn't have the option of extending the party but I would like to see a standard 2-hour. I had extreme difficulty booking the party. It is the only reason I withheld a star. I had to leave several messages and finally call back to get a hold of someone to find out if the day/time I wanted was still available and book the party. In the end I am glad I booked the party as it was the best central location for the guests but not getting a timely response to voicemails or emails was extremely discouraging both in my initial contact and when I was ready to book a few weeks later. I would book another party here if we had occasion to have another party in Arlington, TX and if we were local I would look into their weekly classes. NOTE: it is on the 2nd floor above Kincaid burgers in front of Staples. It isn't an easy location to find amongst all the other Highlands businesses. read more

I booked my daughters 1st birthday party here and was highly disappointed with lack of management and service. First, I attempted to book my party by phone because I live 3 hours away from this location, but was unsuccessful. I called for two weeks straight and continually got the voicemail. When they did call me back she left a voicemail saying I could book my party online and call if I had any questions. So I went ahead and booked the party online. They offer options to add extra 30 mins to your party as well as extra kids. I added the extra 30 mins so that my party would be 2 hours instead of an hour and a half. Once party was booked I printed up my invites and sent them out. They called me one week before the party and asked questions about the party. This is when she stated they only had me booked for a hour and a half, and that their facility doesn't offer extra 30 minutes, and if they did offer it would have to be the last party of the day. I told her I already had plans and my invites were out. She said sorry we will change the website for the future. " my reaction as if I cared about the future compared to my Daughers 1st party next weekend?! Smh what an idiot response on her part! I asked could I call her back the next day to discuss my changes do to the time change she said that will be fine, and once again no answer. I went to the facility the night before the party and they were closed hours on the door don't match hours online. AS YOU CAN SEE THE TREND HERE IS CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT STAFFED PROPERLY AND/OR DONT CARE TO ANSWER THE PHONES!!! The morning of the party I called all morning and still no answer! I arrived 30 mins before party time and helped them set up. Once we got to the food and cake part they served my guests including adults the pizza and wings I supplied. I asked that they let the adults get their own but they continued to serve mainly to stay on schedule. When it was time to leave they cleaned up and packed up all my things...not too upset about that. Except SHE PICKED UP MY CAKE WITH HER BARE HANDS TO PUT THE LEFT OVERS IN THE BOX! Well that cake went in the trash smh Then when the party was over I filled out their survey and had a discussion with the manager about all the errors and my displeasure with service. All he had to say was I'm new here and I will make all these corrections for the future. Once again why do I care about the next persons party in the future before my own! Smh With that said NEVER AGAIN ESPECIALLY AT THE ARLINGTON/MANSFIELD LOCATION !!!! I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM DEALING WITH THIS LOCATION. Birthday Party Review: I decided to have my Son's 4th Birthday Party at The Little Gym. Although we haven't taken classes in over a year, I knew my son and his friends would enjoy this experience. What I didn't know, was how easy and flawless the party would be. From the very beginning we received excellent service. The staff called a couple of times to go over detaills and answer any questions I had. We booked a Saturday, 5:30pm party (The last party of the day). We had no problem with any guests being there from the party before us and since we were the last party, we weren't rushed at all. I highly recommend this time slot! Even though we were running a few minutes behind, the staff welcomed our guests and got them started in the fun. Our party was lead by Matt and Chelsea and they were fantastic. They were very enthusiastic and made sure that every child was having a great time, especially the Birthday Boy! My favorite part about holding a party at the Little Gym is that all of the children are in one room, interacting. Unlike Chuck-E-Cheese where the kids are just running around everywhere. After singing, tumbling, and other acitivities, we were set up in a multi-purpose room where they had child sized tables & chairs. We had pizza delivered and Matt & Chelsea walked around to each child and asked them what kind of pizza they would like. They also poured the Lemonade and water and cut and served the cake. I didn't have to do a thing! Anytime I would get up to get something Chelsea said to sit down & relax - they took care of it all. I got so much positive feedback from parents about this party. Everyone just loved it. I am 110% satisfied with the service and overall experience. I hope to do it again in the future! read more

We found The Little Gym online while they were still in Arlington. We had become disenchanted with our son's current karate studio (he was four at the time) and saw that they offered a class called Chopsticks, a fusion of karate and gymnastics. We joined right away, and our son loved it! The staff was caring, helpful, and fun. Our son was afraid of heights and would not get on the balance beam, but after I mentioned it to one of the staff members, she worked with him and his fear was soon overcome. Now he climbs on anything without any qualms whatsoever - he's our little monkey now! The Little Gym also hosted his fifth birthday party. It was a total success - we didn't have to do a thing except bring our decorations ahead of time and pizza, cake, ice cream, etc., on the day of the party. His sixth birthday is coming up, and when we asked him where he wanted to have his party, he said, "The Little Gym!!!" We were able to schedule the perfect date and time for our event. I know the change in location was not convenient for some, but we continued going and the directions given to us by one of the staff members made getting there a breeze. We just had my daughters first birthday party here & it was a hit! From what was explained online, we would have a private event for 1.5 hours where the kids could play independently, as well as join in on interactive games & activities that were led by the staff. We could bring whatever food & drinks we wanted & the staff would do the full set up & cleanup of the party. It sounded great & well worth the price. However, I have to say they went above & beyond & I am just so pleased! We had kids aged 1-5 & they all had an amazing time running free, playing with bubbles, using the equipment, & participating in the staff led games! The staff were all pretty young & full of energy & smiles & were so sweet with the kids, & so accommodating to the parents! They did do the full set up & clean up of the food & were happy to answer any questions. I could not have been happier with our experience here & definitely recommend it for birthday parties! I have zero complaints, yet the only suggestion I have is maybe allow a full 2 hour time frame or even a bit longer. We didn't have time to open gifts due to time constraints (not that my one year old cared) but everyone was having a great time & we wish it would have lasted longer! All in all, we are very happy!
