Yes, yes, and more yes! I came to visit a friend in CO and after a very strenuous hike that took us hours to complete under a snow squall and dangerous terrain we came to have breakfast here. It was so tasty, I had some very "different" huevos rancheros that would love to have again. The staff was super friendly and helpful too in deciding what to get, however we all got different dishes and all were tasty so I think anything is a win here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and although when I visit it was super windy, I can tell that their outdoor patio would be great to hang out and grab a few drinks with friends. This place certainly had the hype. I give it two stars for the atmosphere alone. We sat in the courtyard on a nice Saturday afternoon. The food, however, was less than desirable. Even after seeing the post about the raw chicken, I decided to try the fried chicken with biscuit and sausage gravy. I asked the server if the chicken was boneless or not, and she said it was a boneless chicken breast and a leg (with bone). I was served a small chicken finger and a leg, not a boneless chicken breast so that part was deceptive in my opinion. You can see that the picture actually looks appealing, but this was some of the worst flavored fried chicken I've ever had. I can even speak to how bland it was. The biscuit was like a glorified canned biscuit. The mashed potatoes that it's served with were just okay. I'll stick to my fried chicken from Popeyes, because it's honestly 10 times better! AMAZING! Ish and his lovely wife (Meg) are the most gracious proprietors. The food is fantastic. The mashed potatoes are just like moms and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Coming in from the South, I couldn't wait for the fried pickles. YUMMY. The property itself is inviting. A seat in the garden transforms you into a private space. I'd love to be the person who plants this in the spring. What a wonderful place. They want to be in the running for best mimosa brunch. But (and I've been to many) their mimosas are heavy on the orange juice and light on the bubbles. So, if you believe the juice is for color only, these mimosas are not going to be good for you. They are large glasses and I went through about 4, and felt the sweetness of the juice more than anything. I did let them know I would like less juice and they did they were pre-made and couldn't change it. They don't get my vote for best mimosa spot. Food is hit or miss, my hash looked great on paper but lacked in flavor on first visit. Second visit the crab cakes Benedict was good. I added my wife's gravy to breakfast tots which I liked but our table was generally hit and miss. It's got a good vibe. But for me, the mimosa game will probably keep me away. read more

Sounds like a cluster fuck of ingredients but it's damn good. Their French toast is on point. Smothered tots in green chili - never bad. All the bottomless and they help you make the most of those two hours for sure. It's definitely a good value - it's filled with large groups of bachelorette parties and twenty something shit shows - so that's what knocked the vibe to 4 stars for me. This place was a huge disappointment. The food and drinks were mediocre, but the service was awful. We had a large party on a Saturday afternoon. Our server rolled her eyes at us multiple times, just for asking to be served. We were very polite and patient, even though it took an hour and a half to even order food. We tried ordering another round of drinks, but were informed that there was a two hour limit and we needed to leave. Well, that's fine but considering it took over an hour to even put in our food orders, we wouldn't have stayed this long. So we said okay, and we got our checks. One of the people in our party got charged $25 for a bottomless mimosa that she didn't order. The server argued and said "I don't know if I can remove that" WHAT?? She continued to be very defensive and argumentative about it, even though the person speaking to her was kind and just wanted to communicate to get something taken off her tab that she never ordered. Another employee also came over asking us if we were ready to leave because they had another party waiting, as we were all sitting there waiting to pay with our cards on the table. This was insane. I've worked in restaurants before and I have a lot of respect for what they do. But this was truly awful. If you aren't going to be nice to people, don't work in the service industry. read more

Took a look at the Yelp pictures when my friend said we were going here. I had to try the Hot Box with the breakfast tots. Glad I did. There was actually more to the meal than I could eat in one sitting. Well, I could've eaten it all but the second half made for excellent leftovers. The jalapeño Bloody Mary wouldn't normally be my go-to drink but it had flavor and it was fun to mix it up. The spicy pickle might be a better option among the four they offered. You can get the bottomless Bloody Mary or Mimosa if you think you'll be having three or more. The nice thing is, you can always upgrade to bottomless if you get a few drinks in. The downside is that you can only get one or the other with the bottomless so you'd have to stick with one or the other (unless you have a friend willing to share) :). Nice place inside. Definitely has some of that hotel lobby feel going on and what looked like a fun outdoor space too. read more

I really tried to love this place but service was HORRIBLE but that doesn't even explain my experience. From the beginning my party was immediately sat outside which is a good looking patio but there to what seemed to be our server playing with the neighbor cat(Oliver). Secretly I was hoping he wasn't our server but lucky me it was I just hope he washes his hands. It appeared it seemed to be his section and as brunch got a bit busier our server was obviously in the weeds and no where to be found. I had a water that stayed empty majority of my time and what seemed to be quite a while before I became impatient and flagged down who I thought was the host/ manager for service because i was waiting for about 20 mins before I decided to take action. I started with the Brussels which came out fairly quickly but really delicious unfortunately that was the highlight of my brunch. While trying to enjoy my Appetizer my table was directly next to the cats poop corner and as much as I wanted to just ignore what was happening the smell made it impossible. My entree which was the fried chicken biscuits with sausage gravy and tots instead of the mash I immediately notice it came out incorrect with the style of eggs I ordered over easy and they came out scrambled. they took it back and said they'd make a new plate when really all they did was scrap the eggs off and replace it with over hard ones. Receiving the meal the obviously pieces of scramble eggs and everything else around it cold I was just over it by this time. I talked to the manager expressed how I felt with the experience and she apologizes and discounts the bill but as much as a wanted to ask why she didn't completely take my meal off considering I didn't eat my food, I already felt overwhelmed and Disgusted with lingering cat crap right next to my feet. Server (Zac) was attentive and friendly. Zac got us everything we needed, had a great memory when taking our order, and checked in frequently. Took about 10 minutes to have coffee brought over to me and I noticed the table next to me had to consistently grab a server to ask about a refill on their drinks. This has became one of my go-to's brunch spots! Atmosphere: at first the building isn't so easy to find, also parking is annoying because you're in the heart of Downtown Denver. However, in the warm weather, they have plenty of outside patio seating and they also have 2 floors of inside seating! It's a pleasant atmosphere for any event! Dates, birthdays, or if you're just looking for have a good breakfast. Food: they're food is delicious, I keep getting the same thing over & over because it's so good! The fried chicken biscuits & gravy is the perfect breakfast combo. You've got your gravy, thick and delicious biscuit, eggs, and 3 pieces of fried chicken and mashed potatoes on the side. It's so filling and flavorful! We also got the chicken nuggets as an appetizer. I would compare them to Chick-fil-A nuggets, good stuff! Drinks: this place has HUGE bottomless mimosa options! One big glass of the bottomless is equal to 3 & a half regular size glasses! They have different flavors to chose from now like pineapple, cranberry, apple, and a few more. Finally got to try The Lobby and had an all around great experience! While The Lobby seems to be best known for their brunch, my boyfriend & I met another couple here for happy hour (3 to 6 PM EVERY DAY) at around 4:30 PM and greatly enjoyed our $3 pineapple mimosa + a $4 Titan IPA. They also have small bites (our friends got the loaded fries and they looked SO good!) and other drinks (including $12 32-oz pitchers!) on HH. + their patio space is great AND they have a cute cat named Oliver who just loves getting all the love! Just a heads up - I had made a reservation for our 4:30 PM date night but clearly didn't need it at that time as there were very few people there BUT I do hear it gets super busy for brunch! read more

We have come here several times for brunch, but after this visit i'm not in a hurry to go back. The service is ridiculously slow, and the food is only ok, but a bit overpriced. The "smoked salmon" Benedict is not smoked like I am used to being from New England, but cooked, and the potatoes were cold upon arrival. The service was slow, and our waitress took one person's drink order than disappeared for another 20 minutes. We had to call her over to remind her the other two people in our party wanted drinks as well! We all sat with empty waters (I'm sorry, if you are having bottomless drinks, you should never be without water) and drinks several times and had to flag her down for everything. I had a gift card I used on this visit, and also showed the Yelp check in for 10% off. I was told we probably couldn't use both, but she never came back and confirmed what the answer was, before we cashed out and she did not honor the 10% off. This place is mostly known for their mimosa towers, but if you have less than 6 people, I could recommend many other places for a decent, reasonably priced brunch. Oliver the cat is literally the best thing about this place. I also want to mention they are not fully ADA accessible, the bathrooms are not spacious, and there event space and additional bar is downstairs.
