It's been amazing the past several weeks getting to try extremely fresh produce, some veggies I would normally turn away from (beets, turnips), and some veggies I've never tried (garlic scales, kohlrabi). Aside from just vegetables, there's several vendors that have a bunch of varieties and cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb). There's jam, flowers, honey, baked goods, eggs, and so much more. My favorite is when they have mushrooms, and if they find a cheese vendor it's over for my bank account and my diet! I'm so happy to be able to support and get my vitamins in a sustainable, community-oriented way. I come here every week and you all should too!

Whenever I have a special occasion that I can justify it, I'd love to come and request a specific cut of meat here. In addition to meat and deli, they offer all sorts of goodies, treats, and things to make your meats taste better. It's always nice and clean inside, and even though it's a little tight that's never been a problem. My only beef (pun very much intended) with Boone's is that they're closed on Sunday, so I can't go to church and get my butcher shop shopping on the same day. Love Boone's, would highly recommend.

Prices are fine; store carries major label, main-stream products, not expired / off-brand lines. It's the best option in this part of town, as far as regular / average groceries go (since E.W. James closed) and is usually a zoo, both because of shoppers and an inconsistent layout. They carry staples / basics and highly processed foods, for the most part. Checkout can take awhile because of how many folks are checking out (not poor service). I only go in for an occasional item when I'm in town, for convenience-sake, so I'm not sure whether it's possible to get most of everyone's usual grocery needs here or not, since, for a grocery store, their footprint is pretty small (and, again, their focus isn't on raw food or items needing preparation before immediate cooking / serving. Produce is more than a bit iffy, though. Never tried any of their meat / poultry / fish offerings, either.

A small hidden gem in the wide open!…read more They've been open for a while now and I'm just now stopping in. Why did I wait so long!? As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the sweetest lady behind the deli counter. She answered every question with a knowledgeable answer and also a joke and giggle. You see wall to wall food. It's like a supermarket packed into a 1000 sq foot area. Anything from Lemons, chicken buffalo dip, bacon, organic milk, seasonings, pretzel buns, fish, steaks, burgers, Venison, Elk and beer. It's all here, a true one stop shop. The "Tomahawk" was AMAZING! 13.99lb....a little over 2lbs. Slow cooked for an hour, wow it was delicious! Delicious pretzel buns and the bacon cheddar burgers were to die for! The burgers were formed and packed in the back, boxed and ready to pop on the grill. The owner is one of the Hubers, so of course they have several of the most requested Huber items...Huber wine being one of the major items. Apple butter and fruit are available too. We will definitely be stopping in here more often!
