Best local meats and the lunches are very good. I frequent there regularly and they never disappoint.

Boone's is so great! I live all the way in Etown and try to get over to Boone's every chance I get…read more I love their selection, I love their sales, and their meat is always good. Whenever I have a special occasion that I can justify it, I'd love to come and request a specific cut of meat here. In addition to meat and deli, they offer all sorts of goodies, treats, and things to make your meats taste better. It's always nice and clean inside, and even though it's a little tight that's never been a problem. My only beef (pun very much intended) with Boone's is that they're closed on Sunday, so I can't go to church and get my butcher shop shopping on the same day. Love Boone's, would highly recommend.

The older, shorter woman working behind the counter was exceptionally rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. Her demeanor was hostile and dismissive, making me feel as though I was an inconvenience for simply requesting deli meat and cheese to be sliced. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Instead, I was met with an attitude that was unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I chose to leave without purchasing not only my deli items but also the steaks and other meat I had planned to buy for an upcoming family reunion. I hope management addresses this issue. Employees who interact with customers should provide respectful, courteous service. No customer should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome simply for asking to be served.

A little "hole in the wall" seafood joint. The food is good and the service was polite, and prices…read morewere reasonable given that it's seafood (which isn't cheap to get fresh in Kentucky). I had the fried shrimp, and they clearly were NOT just frozen shrimp they'd bought somewhere and fried, these seemed homemade. . .definitely NOT typical mass-production shrimp. The food was pretty good. There's two things I would list as downsides, however. The first is that the wait for service was pretty long. It was quite a long wait from when I ordered until I got my food. That's a minor downside, given the quality. I got the picture they might not have a robust back-of-house staff. The second, and bigger downside is. . .I didn't go there expecting a seafood place! The well-worn sign out front still says "Deez Butts" BBQ, and I'd followed signs from the freeway exit thinking I was going to a barbecue joint. When I stepped inside, I pieced together as I was standing in line that the BBQ had closed and this was now a seafood place. It was good food, but I was expecting barbecue and was too hungry to bother hunting for another place to eat. I was left wondering if they couldn't afford to change the (well worn) sign out front. It just seemed a little odd that the sign out front is for a barbecue joint, but it's a seafood place inside.

It was so dang delicious that I can't wait for the next tournament to go back!! We had the crawfish dip, crab leg boil and shrimp boil. It was all so good but lemme tell you about these crab legs!!!! Insanely good! Better than the ones we get in Florida!! They were so well seasoned. The Royal Reds & fried shrimp were delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked!! Those potatoes cut like butter. The crawfish dip was plentiful with crawfish tails!! Not a single complaint!! Prices are good. Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!!
