    Shrimp po boy

Went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We were told a 20 minute wait so we went to the bar. Ordered beers and then our food. Beer was cold as we waited. I ordered the shrimp platter and substituted collards for fries. My wife ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich. Both came with a delicious broccoli slaw. Our shrimp was fried perfectly. The tartar sauce was very good. Really enjoyed the collards over the fries. Restaurant is very nice and the bar area also. Server was good and took good care of us.

Cool and cozy spot! Was visiting Savannah and happened to hit this place for a "hangover lunch" and it did the trick! Ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. Best I've had for sure. Fried perfectly and great flavor. The goat cheese garnish and aioli (forget which kind) were the perfect additions. Kept it simple and ordered their wings as the main course; they weren't anything special, but were tasty for sure. The bartender was very attentive and made a very good Paloma (more drinking offsets hangovers ). Would give this place a 4.5 if possible. They had other menu items I was intrigued by so I would definitely revisit!

    Don't try.

They ran out of cheese bits and the waiter was all over the place. Needless to say this is a place I will not come to again !!! The service sucks. The collard greens and bacon dip is a miss. The rum punch was more juice than rum. man this place is not what we (black folk ) thought it was gonna

The food was good. I enjoyed my breakfast. My husband said it's ok. The kids enjoyed their pancakes. The restaurant is clean and super cute. The server was attentive. All in all, I would eat here again.

We had a group of about 14 girls on a bachelorette trip, and we showed up around 11:00 AM. There was about an hour wait, so we went and walked around for a little bit while we waited. Once we finally got seated, though, our server took care of all 14 of us SO efficiently. He was absolutely running around doing his best! Getting everyone's drinks, taking all of our food orders, and making sure everyone was taken care of. The food came out pretty quickly considering the size of our group, and he was even able to split up all of our checks for us. Overall, the service was amazing. He was great! The vibes inside were really cool, too. We were seated in a corner area where we could see people coming in and out and watch everyone walking by outside the window. There was also another bachelorette group sitting near us, so it made the whole experience even more fun. And then there was my food... SO GOOD. I got the chicken sandwich, and it was HUGE. I honestly don't even think my picture does justice to how much food comes with it. Surprisingly, the fries were really good, too. But the chicken was what really impressed me. Sometimes when you order grilled chicken, it can be super dry, but this chicken was SO tender and juicy. There wasn't a single tough or dry spot. I was full after eating half of the sandwich, but I almost ate the entire thing because I genuinely could not stop eating it! I will absolutely be back here the next time I'm in Savannah!

I love that the menu encourages you to try duck in different ways than you may be used to. I don't typically like ordering grilled cheese out since I make a pretty good one myself at home, but the duck grilled cheese called to me. I'm glad I answered because it was delicious! It had the right combo of cheeses, and the caramelized onion gave it that little pizzazz it needed. It went great with the tomato soup. My sister's duck tacos were also very good. They do a great job of cooking the duck well, which I don't think is easy. The bellinis weren't groundbreaking, but they were very fun, since there's different flavors to choose from and they come garnished with a little rubber duck.

I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.

The grits were ok but ordinary. The biscuit was doughy and flavorless. If we were too late for freshly-made hash, they shouldn't have served them. Well, shrimp & grits it was and damn it was everything I expected and then some.. Let my hotel and walked to Quinn's. Ok, we're seated very quickly upon entering the establishment. The handing out of the menus and beverage order happening. OJ if you're curious? Like I said I vacillated back and forth with shrimp & grits the ultimate winner aside from me... Well, it's the moment of truth and my meal arrives ( drum roll please ) and DAMN FINE SHIRMP & GRITS! As the plate arrives I marvel at the steaming plate of grits with a mound of shrimp topped with green onions and lots of bacon pieces.. My meal plate was exactly how I envisioned it and that flavor taste exploded throughout my body with my brain rattled with joy.. Smooth creamy grits with a mound of perfictly cooked shrimp with a little pan char just the way I love my shrimp cooked. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

So we got there for 6:30, and knew we had to leave by 8:20, as we had a ghost tour shortly thereafter and we told our waiter as such. Unfortunately, despite not ordering an appetizer and going straight to mains, we didn't get our dinner until 7:55pm. The reason it happened was the waiter accidentally ordered us the seafood special, not the steak special. They were apologetic about it, but still, a dinner we were looking forward to turned to a rushed scarfing down of food. Would have been nice if they comped one of the dinners, or offered a free round of drinks for the inconvenience. As for the meal itself - the shrimp dinner was meh - only came with 6 shrimp for $32 (pirates house shrimp dinner tasted better and came with over a dozen large shrimp). The ribeye was perfectly cooked, but needed more seasoning. My guess is because they rushed it, they may have forgotten the salt. The steak sauce (tamarind forward a1) wasn't my cup of tea. On the positives - both of the sides were amazing - highly recommend they put those on the main menu. All in all - there's too many good restaurants in Savannah, I doubt I'll be coming back. Given the ambiance, maybe good idea to come for a drink and dessert? (Although the wine pour was a little weak too).
