The ambiance was okay and the service was good by Amanda. Unfortunately, the brunch food was not good. My wife's avocado toast barely had any avocado on it. What avocado that was on the sandwich was cold and it was a warm sandwich. My chilaquiles were barely acceptable all the chips were all soggy, none were close to crisp. I ordered chicken on the chilaquiles but I received less than a 1/4 of chicken, very chintzy. Disappointing experience. Not sure we'll be back. read more

This is one of our favorites! Whether we eat at the restaurant or take it to go it's always good. We will get the shrimp Poboy almost every single time because it's a Fan favorite of ours but we've tried many items on the menu from flatbreads during happy hour to cheeseburgers and short rib, everything's pretty tasty. The service is friendly and the restaurant is well kept and nicely designed. The only thing I can say is that it's a little bit noisy from time to time, not that it bothers us, but I think it can get loud. We're happy to have this restaurant nearby and will continue to enjoy it! read more

This place absolutely deserves a five star review. The atmosphere is warm, lively and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff is friendly and attentive and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The food was incredible. Every dish tasted fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The dishes were beautifully presented and generous in portions. Service was impressive and checked on us perfectly and made great recommendations. One of the best parts of the night was the live music. It added such great energy to the space. Delicious. Started with a wine flight, ordered two and Jenifer was thoughtful enough to provide eight different variations. We also ordered six oysters, with a mignonette being delicious. Had a large charcuterie tray with an abundance of a different array of meats and cheeses, dark chocolates, fruits and various spreads. Everything was fantastic, and we will be back again. This is the place to go if you're looking for a relaxing but lively atmosphere, a tasty meal but not expensive served by friendly and attentive staff, and an enjoyable evening to unwind with friends! On Feb 18 evening, we sat in the covered outdoor patio lounge with friends, ordered apps and cocktails, listened to 3 hours of great music live by Dave Leahy - wow - excellent musician and set list! Also had a tasty dinner: The Local Salad w grilled chicken, and margarita flatbread - both fresh, flavorful and really good! The competent and busy servers deserve lots of praise too for taking good care of us and the many patrons who were thoroughly enjoying the evening like us! Unfortunately I have not gotten the pleasure to actually sit and eat at this restaurant but I have order food in person to go. The service has usually always been less than 25 minutes and the staff has always been friendly, however my food on the other hand has not always been the best. Both times I have ordered to go I have gotten the Burgundy Sliders which once was very salty and the second time cold. The shoestring fries the second time I ordered and the reason I have stopped coming to this restaurant was because they were cold, very hard, and most likely old. Felt like I was eating potato chips and not fries. (In context I have ordered my food at around 9 or earlier-ish on the weekends, when many customers were still there). Although not actually eating and being a customer sat at this restaurant I believe this should not be impacting the quality of my food. read more

First time at this restaurant and overall it was pretty good. Tables are mostly high-boys but they have comfortable booths for those looking for more comfort. Our server greeted us, took our drink and app order and appetizer came shortly thereafter. We had the Fried artichokes; crispy, hot and tasty. They are served with marinara sauce which I found odd. It didn't add anything to the dish. I would have preferred a mayonnaise based sauce, like a garlic aiole. We all ordered the shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, crispy breaded and crunchy. I'd like to suggest a couple of changes to improve the sandwich. Instead of a large French roll, use a baguette. Less bread and more authentic. Add a light layer of mayo, use shredded iceberg instead of mixed greens (those are for salads!!), place the tomatoes under the shrimp and add more remoulade. A drizzle just doesn't cut it. I did like the sandwich but I had to remove one side of the roll....just too much bread. The shoestring fries were definitely underwhelming. Perhaps a thicker, more seasoned frie would compliment the meal better. Prices were good. They have a great drink menu and selection of appetizers. Yes, I'll be going back and will try other items. read more

I hosted my boyfriends birthday here. It was recommended by a good friend. I called and made a reservation for 20ppl. They assured me that everything would work out. The day of, I went early to bring cake and balloons. The staff organized our table very nicely. Unfortunately we only had one server for our large group. The server was busy all night and she did a great job. I felt bad for her because she was frazzled. The restaurant should have given us more servers because of the size of the party. The food was incredible!! All my guests loved the appetizers. The Flat Bread is incredible and so is the charcuterie board! It was casual and very laid back. Vehemently upset after having dinner there tonight. I had the steak and fritters, which I've had before and is usually great for lunch even though it's a dinner entree. it's cooked medium it comes out sizzling usually but today it came with the coldest and oldest fries and the steak was barely cooked and skill not sizzling, I hate to send things back but I did, as it was too bad. The second time around, the end piece was so dry and hard to chew so I didn't want to say anything but later asked for more sauce to try to work with it. I finished the fries, my friends steak was reportedly to be ok but wasn't great the second time as she too had to send her plate back due to the cold and dated fries. had been here numerous time. As a result we asked for more sauce to try to work with the steaks, as they weren't good, here's where it's gets bad quick. The waiter says the manager says "he going to charge you more if you ask for more sauce, I asked that the manager be called because I'm trying to work with this steak but a threat I have a hard time with. The rude and unprofessional male waiter becomes increasingly rude and insists I pay before a manager is called, which I abide. Mark, the manager comes to defend himself based on what the waiter tells him, he doesn't even want to hear my point until I tell him all my issues of concerns and disappointment where staff, service and quality of food was subpar at best. I would try to explain to the manager to I had asked for additional sauce as the steaks was cooked poorly and had to be sent back twice, for after his rude rank tell me he was never informed that the steak had been sent back twice. Meanwhile, I say all that to say this the service was poor, the aggressive tone and tenor of the male waiter and Mark the manager was unprofessional, and disappointing. No apology whatsoever. How about accountability and some form of apology, not how you can charge me more. If the chef can't cook a steak get them off the grill, and if the manager and male doesn't get some type of class and a course on better customer service than they perhaps need new careers. Poor food, poor service and the absolute poor customer service from Management down. The experience I had on this night I wouldn't recommend at all EVER. I would have given a "0" score to honest. First off let's call it what it is! Fantastic place, the ambience, service, food never misses. We live in PGA West and having good choices close by has been hard to find! The owner Joe along with Amanda and Alicia both awesome Waitress's add to the great touch of this restaurant! My Wife and I eat there twice a week. Mondays is half off Wine and Tuesday is trivia night. The patio area is so comfortable with sofas, and tables and TV's with great viewing. My favourite's are the Wings, the Steak frites, Pesto pasta and my wife loves the Chicken Tacos. Just a great welcoming setting all around! Let me make one thing clear, this is high quality food. Came in to try this place on a hot Sunday afternoon. The place looked clean. The service was nice and friendly. The air conditioning could have worked better. My wife and I both ordered the Muffuletta. Don't do it. It is not remotely like what you would get in New Orleans. Mine cost $2 more for them to sprinkle a little bit of Cajun seasoning on the same shoestring fries my wife got. I ordered a specialty cocktail called Buffalo Soldier. It was very strong, and I'm usually OK with an over-pour. Lastly the server brings you a credit card machine instead of an itemized bill to the table. The tip options start with a lower end of 20%.
