Food was overcooked, service was slow and inattentive, not a great experience. Disappointing.

This is my second time here at the local table in Wilbraham, the service has been excellent and there food menu is incredible. Joey our bartender was off the charts as to his service and his great conversation we had. I definitely highly recommend this place as the good social atmosphere and great food, and the drinks they have on selection is out of this world. read more

Went yesterday with a friend. Got a table right away but took about 5-10mins before a waitress came and took our drink order. We ordered the fried seafood special for $32 to share. The fish was over cooked and about 3 scallops and not even a handful of clams. Very disappointing read more

Lunch today. Decent. Would go again. Short wait and we were seated at comfortable raised booth. Started with hot and honey cheese app. Like fried balls of spicy cheese served with honey mustard. Skip it- too small, weird combination of sweet, spicy, mustardy, over breaded. Macaroni and cheese meal- deemed okay, rich, large portion. Fried chicken sandwich was enormous with fresh lettuce and tomato. Blue bistro burger was excellent- grilled brioche bun, Gorgonzola, and onion jam. Swapped fries for a Caesar salad side. Large fresh salad with shaved parm. Cheesecake for dessert was standard. Waitress was very friendly but service was SLOW. App came to table after meals were served and with prompting on its whereabouts. Overall a decent place for leisurely lunch. read more

Stumbled upon this place after passing by several restaurants closed on Sunday. This place used to be old a Red Robin. We loved the booths and high tables. Service was excellent. French onion soup was yummy and the Caesar salad was perfectly dressed with freshly shaved parmesan. Beers on tap and lavender lemonade was fabulous. But the best part were the bbq burnt ends. They were so tender and crispy that they melted in our mouths. Definitely a great non-chain, local restaurant we will enthusiastically add to our go-to list. read more

My wife and I stopped in 12/9 for lunch after doing some Christmas shopping. The place was decorated nicely and hard to tell it used to be a Red Robin. Although it was about 1/3 full we had to wait 15min to be seated. So they were understaffed in the kitchen. Our server was very nice, food came out pretty fast. I ordered a burger and fries for $16, it tasted fine, but a VERY small portion for the price. I can get the same meal and quality, but almost double the portion, down the road at my usual bar for $10. My wife ordered their Cobb salad, and this is where it fell apart. A mountain of delicious leafy greens, yum. Fast forward to Tuesday 12/12 and she hasn't gotten out of bed yet!! Violently sick and tethered to the bathroom. We know for sure because I make all of our meals and this was a nice treat for us on a Saturday. We won't be going back due to this unfortunate experience. Hopefully management reads this and fixes whatever is going on in the back of the house or they won't be open for long. read more

We should've known when we sat down and watched two tables leave complaining they still hadn't received food, we shouldn't have bothered ordering. After driving from Boston, MA to meet my family for brunch at The Local Table-N-Tap, we sat down, received our drink order right away, and then for nearly 2 hours, we sat around without receiving any service or the food we ordered. We aren't the kind to complain, but we got even more concerned when the table behind us said they waited for an hour, and their order was incorrect. Our server informed us that their printers in the kitchen, were not working and that a lot of customers orders were delayed. I can understand a wait if the establishment is busy, but they barely had any customers and were still unable to provide good service. This was an experience like no other and the wait we had was absolutely uncalled for. We ended up paying for our drinks, then left to go to another restaurant down the street that was able to accommodate our small party of 4 faster than we sat around waiting in The Local Table-N-Tap. I would only recommend this establishment for how kind the waitress and host were, otherwise, if you're trying to have food within a reasonable timeframe, go elsewhere. It is a shame because this place has so much potential! Perhaps they need more staff? Unsure. read more

The food was great, we ordered nachos with pulled pork, wings, and the local salad. The ingredients were fresh, the quality of chicken on the wings was excellent, plenty of flavor in the sauce. The chips in the nachos stayed crunchy, the toppings were tasty. We had takeout so I can't really comment much on the service, no complaints. Will definitely be ordering again, hope they stick around. read more

Pleasantly surprised at the good service and exceptional food on a Monday holiday. My niece and I shared an appetizer and mushroom burger with fries. Both were delicious and quite filling. The menu offerings were ample and fairly priced for our area. The service a bit slow though the server was very knowledgeable and pleasant. In my opinion they were understaffed being a holiday, school vacation week and their dining area is huge. It was lunch and we were not in a hurry. There are tables, booths and a good size bar area. I wouldn't go after 7:30 pm unless you want drinks. There local drinks are really good, but we went last night, and we ordered a fish and chips ( and it was really dry and the chip were over cooked), the chicken tenders were so over cooked that my daughter had to strip the batter off, and i got a burger and it was so over cooked and dry. My husband lemonade was so watered done that my husband drank my soda instead. And the manager that was there was only concerned with people at the bar, he didn't even come around and ask people how their food was. Very disappointed. read more

We stopped in here for a snack and a beer and were impressed. The very large bar has a huge selection of beer and the bartenders were very attentive! My wife and I shared a couple apps, the sweet and tangy fried Cauliflower and the brisket sliders. Both were amazing!! We can't wait to try more menu items! read more
