I got takeout from The Loop and the food was delicious! The Pesto Chicken Ciabatta was my favorite. The pesto was tasty and the open faced sandwich was covered in chicken, cheese, and red sauce. The Chicken and Cheese sandwich was good too and was fully customizable with toppings and cheese type. The fries were very thick and they needed to be reheated a little.

Red the reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good but we were really disappointed with the service. It was a Sunday evening but it was really busy. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or if that is how it normally operates but the tables were loaded with dishes and no one was bussing tables. About halfway through the visit a woman who I think was the dishwasher came out to clean off the tables finally but that was the only time I saw anyone. By the time we left nearly all the tables were dirty again and no one was bussing them. New customers were just claiming dirty tables. The decor is cute and the place has a lot of potential. We will probably try it again soon to see if our experience was just a one off issue. Based on this experience though, the food was okay but it was no where near worth the price.

Quick and easy ordering. Food was ready quickly. Chicken Caesar wrap was OK. The chips were a little bit crispy than I would prefer.

First time at this location. Normally we go to the one in Chapel Hill. This one is brighter with a much more inviting decor, although just as cold inside. We came here specifically for the creamy French Onion soup, which didn't disappoint. Very tasty, although not nearly as hot as the CH location, which I swear comes straight from a boiling cauldron! I wish they had some hot beverages on the menu, but they don't. Just cold bevs. Oh, well.

We went for a Saturday night date and it was a cute, casual spot. The restaurant was packed, but the staff worked quickly to clean a table for us. We ordered our food at the counter and it came out quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. I ordered a blue cheese burger and my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The food was fresh and well seasoned! Will return in the near future.

I love it when we decide to try something different and it turns out wonderful! The blue cheese chips - AMAZING! Never had creamy French onion soup before - DELICIOUS! My husband really enjoyed is BBQ chicken pizza too! We're definitely returning!!

We popped in for lunch today. Had a beautiful Gorgonzola salad with sundried tomatoes and candied walnuts. We woofed that down, so no pictures. Then we got the portabella and bacon pizza and let me tell you, it was worth every penny of the 17.99. ...from the crust to the abundance of bacon, mushrooms and carmalized onions...absolutely delicious. So glad this place is just blocks from our new house and we will go back. Just one note: don't expect charismatic or friendly service if you're looking for that. It's more like no frills, no personality or even no response to some questions we had.

Close to museum. Great food selection. Pizza was crispy. Pesto chicken fanatic was tasty!

Average place with a decent menu. It's a self help place. Order your food and come back to pick it up. Self service for drinks, silverware and condiments. The menu has a small variety of choices. They do serve alcoholic drinks but no menu so you have to look at the display at a distance. I ordered the French onion soup which was more creamy than a broth. Not much flavor and pricey for the serving. The onion rings were big. The type you bite and the whole onion comes out. The bleu cheese chips were good and had the right amount of cheese on them. The pizza was mediocre at best. Not a lot of toppings including the cheese and sauce. They do offer milkshakes that look delicious but the food is basic

As a vegetarian, there were admittedly pretty limited options, but I was aware of that going in and still wanted to try out this Durham institution. You get complimentary Focaccia (not once, but twice!), with perfectly crusty outside, bouncy inside, and a wonderful olive oil. If I had known this beforehand, probably would not have ordered the Dinner Rolls- nonetheless, they were delightful (pillowy soft and came with an airy butter). As an appetizer, we got the Little Gem Lettuce, which was a little too salty for my taste, and I felt the citrus accentuated the saltiness even more. However, my friends thought it was seasoned well so take this with a grain of salt lol. But I did enjoy the creaminess of the dressing and the crunch from the topping; also, it was pleasant to eat along with some bread. For my entrée, I got the Spaghettini. This was my first time trying shaved black truffle and I was underwhelmed, but I loved the pasta itself, which had a really unique bite to it and was rich but not heavy. The pasta dishes are on the smaller side with regards to portion. Last but definitely not least: the Hot Chocolate Soufflé. Oh my gosh. When I say this was heavenly, I could literally hear angels singing as I took my first bite. The hot fudge was velvety but not overwhelming, the soufflé soft, and perfectly balanced by the cool bourbon-caramel ice cream. This is assembled table side so you get a fun little show as well haha. We were taken on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster because apparently they were having trouble with the oven, but so grateful that could be fixed. Service was amazing (shout out to Beza!), very friendly and appropriate timing. Ambiance is superb, literally the epitome of modern elegance and probably the best in Durham for a fancy night out. Highly recommend getting a reservation. I could see parking being tricky on busy weekends, but I was able to snag a spot in front of the restaurant. Overall, I had a good experience with some minor room for improvement with dish execution but definitely would appreciate more vegetarian and vegan-friendly options (although, I suppose I didn't ask if modifications to dishes was possible). 9/10 would recommend!

This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal.
