Nice cool bar spot at the Haven City Market in West Covina. Perfect for group hangout and dates. I got myself Aloha Sunset without the alcohol. It contains: tequila, pineapple, passion fruit and grenadine. One fine day, I will definitely try the alcohol version LoL! Friendly staff. Great service.

I was hanging out with my friend to drop off a gift, and we decided to get a drink before we went to dinner! We appreciated that there was plenty of options and seating in the area. My friend got a whiskey sour with japanese whiskey and I got a holiday drink with vodka, white cranberry and elderflower. The drinks were well crafted and I was able to get a double shot in mine for just an added 5 dollars. All in all, a good time was had at the Loopy Llama!

This is a bar located inside West Covina's Haven City. The service here is very friendly and their drinks are great! I got the lychee mojito and yuzu lychee martini. Both were perfectly sweet and refreshing cocktails. There was lots of seating available since it's basically in a large food court. Parking is difficult to find during peak times. Although the parking lot is big, there are other stores and businesses that share the lot with haven city.

Why didn't anyone tell me that Haven City Market had already been opened since November? I got an invite to have a beer or three at The Loopy Llama over the weekend and was so happy I decided to go because the beer here was AMAZING! Aside from the beer, there's also mixed cocktails and food such as Popcorn Chicken and Hot Dog (yes. Hot Dog!) available. Prices are fairly reasonable and service from our bartender, Eric, was exceptional. Awesome place to hang out with friends! 9/10! Will definitely be back very soon!

Great drink selection! We chose this spot for its open layout and darker, more intimate ambiance compared to others. The diverse menu--with sweet, tangy, and citrusy flavors--was perfect and refreshing on a hot day.

We sat at the bar area and had a few mojitos!! They were pretty busy and SOOOOOOOO NICE.. the bartenders gave us recommendations of what they liked and they were so cool to talk to.. most definitely will come back and try the food!!! The mojitos were so delicious and flavorful!!! GO CHECK THEM OUT!

After a dry wedding, we needed to have an after party with some drinks. This was on the way home so we decided to come here for our after party libations. Being that its in the Haven City Market (owned by the same HCM in Rancho Cucamonga), there's plenty of seating everywhere. In the actual establishment they have a small long bar top that you can drink your drinks at. But they also have a nice (fake) grassy area outside with music and tables that you can enjoy your drinks at too. And also being in the HCM there's plenty of food places to eat at also. But they do also have some snacks they offer here as well. The people working here are super friendly. Very knowledgeable about their drinks they offer. You can even open a tab like your at a real bar. Their drinks are really good and diverse. We tried their dirty horchata and their dirty thai tea. Both are interesting boozy twists on a cultural classic. Their long island was really good too. It wasn't just liquor poured into a cup with ice but everything was well balanced and pleasing to the palate. Their drinks were also visually appealing. Tasted amazing. Generous with the alcohol but still tasted great. Love the vibes that this offers and great customer service.

We got the mango madness and the aloha sunset. They were both tasty typical bar drinks. Service was fast and friendly. Expect a bustling environment in the corner of the Haven City Market in West Covina, a line, and busy (but friendly) bartenders.

My new favorite bar! After Cheers in sgv closed down, I didn't know where to go. This is the new spot. The atmosphere is sick. The food court has so many different selections, whoever you bring that's an especially "picky eater" will definitely be satisfied. They also have some great menu items here; my favorite is the popcorn chicken and crab rangoons. If you've had Ten Ren's popcorn chicken, then this will place blow your mind! Their mixed drinks and pour decisions are also top notch. I normally don't drink mixed drinks, but their drinks are flavoured so well!

A little cozy bar inside the Heaven City at West Covina with an awesome cool bartender in a what you shouldn't miss on the game day! The shop is next to two big TVs showing what is hot. The bartender, Eric, he is fun and he remember what is everyone's order! I ordered their Super Bowl special combo, hotdog + beer is only $12! The hotdog is tasty with all the ingredients ~ yummy! I'm gonna try the other snacks next time!

Super cool bar tucked in the corner of Haven city market. This is the only place we found that served cocktails so there were lines from time to time. However we didn't wait long for our drinks, employees were friendly and the cocktails were yummy and strong!

As i was waiting for my pizza from Dough Bro's right next door to The Loopy Llama, i decided to order a cocktail and check out the bar. The bartender was friendly and asked what i wanted. I asked him to custom make me a Mezcal Old Fashioned. He didnt have any chocolate bitters, so used angostara instead. Drink was ok, but needed the chocolate to make it right. The bar set up is great and lots of spirits to choose from. My only con was the price of the drink at $18 , a bit at the high end for food court atmosphere.

What really made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible staff. Ray, Daniella, Stephanie, and Willy all went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. It's clear they take pride in providing excellent service, and it made the entire experience that much better. If you're looking for a place with delicious food, great drinks, and an outstanding team behind the bar, Temple Bar is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended--I can't wait to come back!

Girls' Night, Loud Music & Mystery Margaritas…read more Met up with my girlfriends after work and decided to give this spot a try. Parking was easy enough with plenty of spaces out front, which is always a great start. Walking in, I immediately noticed the ambience was on the darker side. Part of the dining area was closed off for a large party watching a soccer game, so we were seated at a few high-top tables near the bar. Not a big deal, but wow... this place is dark. And the music? Let's just say if you're planning to catch up with friends, be prepared to leave with a slightly raspy voice because you'll be doing a lot of repeating yourself. Now for the fun part... the margarita flight. It was my first visit, and honestly, it felt like it may have also been our waitress's first day. She was very sweet and checked on us often, which I appreciated, but when I asked about the margarita flight, things got interesting. The flight that arrived looked nothing like the photos I'd seen. Instead of the three cute margarita glasses pictured online, ours came as four small colorful shots--yellow, green, red, and orange. Naturally, I asked what flavors they were. Her response? "I have no idea." I even showed her the photo from Yelp, and she said she'd never seen it before. At that point, my friends and I just started making up our own flavors. As for the food, we took advantage of the 2 for $22 lunch special and ordered: * 6 Chicken Taquitos * 3 Steak Tacos * Steak Nachos * 6 Lemon Pepper Wings Honestly, everything was pretty decent! Then again, food always tastes a little better when you're starving after work. The asada tacos were flavorful, the wings hit the spot, and the nachos disappeared pretty quickly from the table. Now for the moment that truly left us scratching our heads... We ordered additional food and packed quite a bit to go. Since my friend's taquitos came with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, we naturally asked if there were lids so we could take them home without turning the car into a dipping sauce disaster. Her response? "I'm sorry, we don't carry lids." Confused, I asked, "So what happens when people eat here and want to take leftovers home?" And without missing a beat she replied: "People that eat here don't usually take things home." Wait... WHAT?! I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and I can honestly say I've never received that response before. No lids? For anything? It was one of those moments where my friends and I just looked at each other wondering if we heard correctly. To be fair, I don't know if she was new, nervous, or just having an off day, but that interaction alone pretty much sealed the deal for me. Looking back it's actually pretty funny, but it's definitely not the kind of service experience that would make me want to come back for a second visit. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. The food was decent, the waitress was sort of kind yet dismissive, but between the extremely loud music, dim lighting, mystery margaritas, and the unforgettable "people don't usually take food home" comment, this ended up being more memorable for the wrong reasons than the right ones. So for her responses & personality alone, bumped it down to 2/5 stars for me. Worth trying once? Sure. Would I come back? NOPE! Happy eats!

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
