First one to get a slice of Thanksgiving turkey & prime rib.

I'm only giving 4stars for their Thanksgiving Day Buffet. There was a waiting list, we were the first ones there. Paid for our meal and was guided to our table by our waitress. We were fortunate enough to be the first people to get the first slices of turkey, prime rib, and everything else down the line. Basically, our plan worked!!! Because you know...CoVid and let's be honest...kids 'snot...well, adult snot too!! We managed to avoid that. They had a whole selection of food!! Tried a bit of most things...I would say, it's pretty good. Prime rib was better than expected. If your picky kid goes for more Prime rib 3 times, kind of a good sign, huh? All in all, Thanksgiving lunch did not disappoint. Got my little piece of turkey fix. Only thing missing is cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie...what they had was terrible. Mushhy...like it came from a baby food jar and tried to make pie. I doubt a baby would even enjoy it. It was dark brown and smelled too spicy. Nothing beats Costco's pumpkin pie yet....Lol!!

This is what we ate. I liked the sauteed vegetables.

We went to the breakfast buffet while we were staying at Great Wolf Lodge. Its $15.99 for adults and $8.49 for kids 4-12. Our bill was $31.95 for myself and my daughter. It costs the same to go to breakfast in Seattle. So I wasn't too concerned about the price. I WOULD like to say that it is bullshit that you're charged $3 for drink orders on top of your meal price. Its a blatant way to get more money out of you on a high profit item like soda. But that does seem to be the aim of Great Wolf Lodge in general, so its not really surprising. The breakfast buffet is your totally standard breakfast buffet. Like Old Country Buffet, but a little more limited on your selection. Go in with that expectation, and you won't really be disappointed. Except that Old Country Buffet includes your beverage and the buffet here doesn't. The staff is very nice, and mostly prompt. No one got sick.

The Loose Moose Cottage is located at Great Wolf Lodge. My family and I had the breakfast buffet. For three of us, the cost was under $40 for all you can eat. My kiddo enjoyed as much bacon as he could pile on his plate. Hot offerings include items like bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, etc. A omelette bar is also available. Fresh fruit, yogurt and smoothies are also on hand. Beverages cost extra so we went across the way to grab Starbucks. Even though I'm not much of a cereal eater anymore, I loved looking at the cereal station. I was jealous watching children pour 3-4 different kinds of sugary cereal into a bowl and topping it off with milk. If that's not your thing, hot oatmeal was also available for the eating. The hostess offered us good customer service but one came to refill our water the entire time we were there. The food was okay. I think the price point is right because it's all you can eat. The quality of the food is a bit institutional and somewhat better than cafeteria food. I'm sorry I didn't get to eat a regular meal there but it was only open for breakfast during my visit.

All Kaleb wanted was sausage and bacon....he went back for pancakes, lol

Was not impressed at all. The food was cold even though we were the first ones in. Nothing tasted good besides the biscuits and potatoes.

My boyfriend told me that anytime he passes by that the parking lot is always filled, and even when we were coming in, the parking lot was full and there were definitely some interesting parking choices made by others. We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things. This place deserves the glowing reviews and more.

Talking Cedar is a solid alternative to the dining at great Wolf Lodge…read more It's just around the corner with ample parking. We got there around 6:30 PM on Thursday evening and the wait was about 20 minutes for families, but we sat at the bar at a high top and got right in. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The gentleman who was taking care of us was attentive without being pushy. We started with the fried pickles which came out with ranch and aïoli for dipping. It was a huge portion. Tasty indeed. While I know pickles are inherently salty, I did find these to be exceptionally salty, leaving me to wonder if the batter was also salted, which definitely would not be necessary. Just know that if you are planning on ordering them. We also both got the Smoked Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. Both of them came with a very generous serving of meat. The meat was just OK. They do not ask you how you would like your steak cooked, so once I got it, that made sense. I'm guessing they don't just smoke it for a little bit and finish the cooking it another way because it is well done with some rough bits - perhaps leftovers from something else. Honestly, I would prefer to have a nice juicy steak on top of a salad, and while I enjoyed this enough, I probably would not get it again for this reason. We both got a beer flight too, and found all four choices to be really good! I will definitely come back here when I'm tired of options at Great Wolf. I'd be interested in trying their sandwiches, as I saw a couple people with French Dips that looked really good.

Last weekend was the second time my family & I visited Talking Cesar Restaurant, this time with my…read moremom with us (from out of town). We were excited, greeted nicely and were sat down pretty quickly. Then it took a turn. Our waiter took alittle while to get to us. Once he did, he was basically rushing to get our order. 20 mins later came back with our water and my husbands Bourbon Flight. This is me by the way looking at my photo album to track the time. 25 mins later our appetizer came and they were delish. We had ordered Garlic Parmesan Wings and Giant Pretzel. We waited over an hour and our waiter finally comes back to tell us that due to a Big Table outside our food is running behind, we said that's fine. 30 mins later, he comes back and tells us he mistakenly did not put our orders in and he takes full accountability but the fact that he only placed 1/2 of order and realized it an hour and a half later and waited 30 mins passed to tell us was beyond acceptable. We had a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old babies with us, we got there at 5:15pm and left at 8pm with no Main Course, we decided to leave and they offered to give us our main dishes for free and that had to pay for our apps and drinks. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore- we were more upset than hungry. Word of Advise- don't dismiss a table of 5 for a table of 20. That party of 20 already includes 16%-18% Gratuity on their Tab, whereas a table of 5 could be giving you 20%-25% Gratuity for yourself only & not to have to share with other servers esp. if you are given cash. That table of 5 could sit there for hours just sitting and chatting and won't turn the tables over to new guest, whereas a table of 5 can eat, enjoy their meal, give good tip and leave within an hour and a half. And you'll have new table instantly, more money for you. To the kitchen staff, don't walk past your guests when they're asking you a question and as if they didn't exist. I'd hate to think it's Race Discrimination because we were the only Asians there but that's definitely how it felt.
