This is a great, hole in the wall restaurant and bar. The place has ample seating along with a small bar. My fiancé got the fried chicken and it was so good. I got the fricken chicken sandwich and it was just OK. We both got two pieces of pie/cake and omg, all of it was AMAZING. Our server, Finn, was so nice and attentive. Lastly, as someone who does not drink, I was impressed and happy they had a non-alcoholic beer option. We highly recommend stopping by!

Nice people and very welcome. Visit these place if you're around and the food is delicious not to forget a drink to top up the meal. And by the way they sell liquor, beer and wine

Mixed feelings with my initial visit. There were hardly any people in the restaurant after the lunch rush but it took an extremely long time for food to come out - 40 minutes or so? I asked for the Smokehouse burger and, while it was delicious, it didn't come with the sauce the menu said it would have. I should have said something when I got it (a fault on my part) but part of me also saw the burger as like a signature item; the description on the menu was what I expected, so I'm not sure where something went wrong. Their fries were amazing. The turtle cheesecake was the bomb, as well. I feel like this could have been a really good experience (probably 4 stars) but between the long wait and not technically getting what I ordered, I feel like something was kinda lost.

This is such a great place. Honestly I was skeptical was it was kind of in the middle of nowhere, hence the "lost river" I guess but anyway. The staff was friendly, the food was incredible. I had the honey garlic pork chops and my hubs had the liver and onions and they were both phenomenal. The drinks were great too. We are in the bar area but the restaurant part looked nice too. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Lost City, WV. If I could give more stars I would.

    The boxed mashed potatoes

My son really enjoyed his meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes (kinda) and green beans. I also got him a cheesecake which he enjoyed. I did like my side salad with the balsamic vinaigrette. I order a sirloin rare. Not only did I get medium well someone even cut into it to look inside. Apparently they put the wrong steak in the wrong to go container. The green beans are salt overload. The mashed potatoes is the part that gets me the most. The are instant mashed potatoes. If you are gonna make someone pay that much they damn well better be fresh mashed potatoes. This is a meal my teenage kids would have put together. I'm eating it because I'm hungry and I'm from out of town so this is all I have for dinner and they are too far down this winding mountain. But damn is it disappointing. I would have given it one star if it wasn't for the fact my 12 year old liked his.

    pesto torteilini

We stopped in because we were in the area. This is amazing. Staff was so friendly. Salad was so fresh. Everything looked good. The tortellini with pesto was perfect. Sat on the screened porch was so nice end of day. Definitely make this a stop if you are going through this part of the country.

Another gem we discovered through friends. Excellent food and service. 30 minute drive from Bryce to Lost River. Well worth the trip.

We had to drop off some items in the area and wanted to get dinner before heading back, so we looked over the menu and reviews. It seemed like it would be perfect for seafood lovers, and we were able to snag one of the last tables available. From the time we walked in, the service was amazing. The staff made great recommendations, checked on us frequently without being intrusive, and made sure we were enjoying our first experience there. Even the other customers were super friendly and told us they had been coming back for years for the great food and service. We both loved our meals. The breading on my fish was really crispy (a recommendation from the server), and the hush puppies were delicious. The portions were very generous, and I really enjoyed my leftovers the next day! The decor there is also super cute. They have several old soda machines outside and adorable crab-themed items inside and outside. Even though it's a bit of a drive, we both agreed that it will be well worth another trip in the future!

Regretted getting the crab cluster as it was only one crab when I could've gotten a pound for $5 more. The crab is also cooked plain with an old bay shaker at the table. The bang bang shrimp was very good. My boyfriend got the "crusty Mac" and said there were shells inside the crab cake, wasn't a fan of that and the amount of crab cake in it.
