    Burger & onion rings
    Mike M.

I stopped in for a late lunch. They were not busy, so seated quickly. My server took my drink order while I decided what I wanted to eat. I chose the deluxe double cheeseburger and onion rings. My server was too busy socializing so another staff brought out my food. I heard my server say she saw the food sitting back there but went out to another table. You need to serve food before socializing. The onion rings were tiny and not many for the price. The burger was large and tasted great. The bun was way too tiny and crumbled. I ended up holding the meat because the bun crumbled. A large bun would have been much better for the size of burger patties. May be a while before going back.

The outside was so inviting that we had to stop in! The service was fast and friendly but the food was just ok. The hand-cut fries looked so good but they were kind of tough and cold unfortunately. The chaos burger was pretty good though. I would probably stop in again, but would just recommend fresh fries upon arrival.

Extremely watery spinach & artichoke dip. A frozen spinach dip would be better from FoodLion. Maybe I expect too much.

Honestly, I've been here before and enjoyed my meals. This has been a downward trending review based on some time of eating here. There was an extremely rude senior waitress (she was maybe 20) who kept talking about her mental instability and how her boyfriend couldn't find better than her. She belittled our waiter constantly with mean jokes and called him gay and told him to off himself if he couldn't handle it more than once.(he was new but maybe 18-20?) He was genuinely trying his best to get service to his tables. It's sad that I need to review like this but unfortunately the lack of decorum and absolutely horrible service offered by the senior wait staff made our experience horrible. We had an issue with our food based on a quality issue that doesn't usually happen and the waitress was very rude about the issue, so I promptly dropped it and continued to eat poorly made food. At the same time my wife stopped eating her food because the brisket was rubbery and had no flavor. It was like eating high school burgers, you know the dog food tasting things? I'm not being mean, I'm being honest. Truly a bad experience and likely our last time of coming even though I've been coming here for years. This place feels like it's run by children and lacks professionalism.

Was on a road trip and stopped in this nice little diner, it has a lot of classic diner food with some interesting original items

Nice menu, tasty food, friendly staff, outdoor seating, BBQ pork sammy with slaw and fresh cut fries were very good. Pork needed no sauce.

A group of 16 of us booked for the weekend and I honestly can't think of enough great things to say. Seriously, everything about this place was AMAZING! I organized the trip, so I got to work with one of the owners, Jesse, to get everything set up. He was helpful, responsive, accommodating, and really kind. I organize a lot for my friends and myself, and this was one of the easiest. Upon arrival we were checked in by the other owner, Gary, who immediately made us feel like we were at home. He gave us a wonderful tour of the property and told us everything we needed to know for a wonderful stay. This property is nestled in the hills of WV and the views are STUNNING! Every space and room is beautifully appointed, really leaning into the upscale rustic vibe you'd expect in a mountain retreat. So many beautiful nooks and crannies to sit and read or play games or just nap. The pool and hot tub are gorgeous and Logan at the pool bar will take amazing care of you! They provide a complimentary breakfast of freshly cooked eggs, meats, and biscuits/scones. The lunch and dinner menus are varied and everything we had was delicious. Our servers, Rain (spelling ??) and Angie were stellar and the ambience was just perfect. Every single one of us left feeling refreshed and we were all sad to leave. Do yourself a favor and make the trek out to Lost River and treat yourself. This place is amazing and I'm already planning my next trip here with my partner.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Guesthouse and we were blown away!…read more Nestled in the mountains of West Virginia the first thing you notice driving up to the Guesthouse is the beauty surrounding you. A winding road through a rocky valley with a mountain stream that flows to the Lost River. Then you turn into the Guesthouse and the stunning main building and cute cabins are so perfectly placed on the property with lovely landscaping. Walk into the main lobby to be greeted by Gary, one of the owners. He was super pleasant and took us on a tour of the property pointing out the dining room, bar, pool (although it was still closed for winter), hot tub and sauna, gym, multiple media rooms, game rooms and lounge areas, and then our room in the Hobson Cabin. The room was well appointed and clean. The shower was beautiful and had great water pressure and temperature. The balcony had wonderful views of the parks close by. A country breakfast is served daily at 9 and is a great start to the day. The dining room is open in the evening for drinks and dinner with a menu for anyone! Gary and Jesse are always close by if you ever need anything and make you feel most welcome. We can't wait to visit again in the summer so we can make full use of the pool and enjoy some nearby hiking!
