I would not return to this place for coffee. I got a matcha and it was so watery. The taste is barely there. Truly one of the worst matchas I have ever gotten. I got a doughnut too and the doughnut was actually pretty good but not worth going back for. The place is in a cute area and seemed like a nice spot to study so that's a positive. Lastly the girl at the register was really rude to my entire party. She was acting like we were inconveniencing her and she didn't offer any help with any items on the menu. The girl that brought out the drink on the other hand was nice but the girl at the register today was so rude. Overall not good drinks and the service was bad so I will not be returning and I wish I hadn't spent my money here.

I almost forgot to take a photo of the avocado toast.

Delicious food, but the portions are on the small side. The cafe has a cool vibe. Restrooms are clean and sanitary. There are vegan and vegetarian options.

My friends and I are visiting Ogden and we've been coming here every morning this week. Great food, and I appreciate the gluten free options as I have celiac disease. The donuts are soooo good. The staff is always super friendly and the general atmosphere is so cozy and cute. Love this place, we will be coming back next time we're in town!

The Brussels sprouts salad with added avocado. Wish I'd gotten a photo of the amazing banana-chocolate chip mufffin - it was gargantuan!

Gracious and heartfelt service. Staff helped me find gluten-free vegan options. I ended up with the brussels sprouts salad (plus avocado) and a banana-chocolate chip muffin. Went back an hour later for the Teal Heal smoothie. Everything was delicious. Bright, open, airy atmosphere with indoor / outdoor seating and clean restrooms. I was able to enjoy my time there without feeling rushed. Wish there were places like this everywhere on my cross-country route (over 1,500 miles so far). If I ever make it back to Ogden, Lotus Café will be my first stop.

Okay sandwich. Why was it 13 dollars, though? Go just about anywhere else for a more affordable and tastier turkey sandwich.

Top is Quinoa bowl with Matcha tea and the bottom, Buddha Bowl with Hemplicious smoothie. Really delicious and tasty!

I had the Shawarma cauliflower bowl. Flavors were on point the cauliflower was a little bit soggy, I tried it as soon as I got in my truck so it was from being in the box for a long time. I would like for there to be a bit more food In the portion size. This place is a little pricy. I paid $18 for an oat milk latte and the Shawarma plate. Paying for organic healthy food is always worth it for me.

11 stars. So cozy! Immediately felt at home upon walking in. The owner walked us through the bakery case and took our order. Her and an employee prepared and delivered our freshly made food and drinks. First off, incredible hospitality. Second, the food was to die for!!! The Brussels were amazing, though I wish I had 10 more helpings. It looked small at first but filled me up between the nutritious portion paired with my raw juice. I particularly liked my husbands quinoa bowl. So many working parts!! The hummus on top really elevated it. I wish I lived in the area so I could be a frequent customer. This place should be a MUST stop for anyone, vegan or not. Thanks for the great experience!

I come to this shop often when I'm in town from California. My favorite coffee shop in UT. I love their mint coffee!! Love their fresh ingredients in all their items. Today I met the sweet owner of this establishment! Thank you for keeping this place cozy and welcoming.

I had never been to this cafe before but a friend and I decided to try it as we were looking for vegetarian and organic foods. It did not disappoint. Your carnivore friends won't be upset though as there was meat on the menu. The food was fresh, the service was fun and helpful! The ambience of the location and the views as the snow quietly drifted down were perfect for a visit with a friend. Edited to add: try the peanut butter bar. Seriously decadent! We plan to go back and it is on my top of Ogden list!

It wasn't the best I've had and not the worst. The funny thing is I brought half the of it home because the portions are huge and it tasted better the next day. Your dinner includes a small salad, it was delicious and I used their house Italian dressing which was really tangy and yummy. My favorite thing though were their rolls. I swear I could just eaten about 12 of those! They bring you oil and vinegar for dipping and it was hard to not just drink it with every bite of those delicious rolls. In fact I'm going to call their Salt Lake Location and ask if they sell them separately. They were that good. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Italian restaurants so check them out and get extra rolls!

I am not from the area but I ordered takeout pizza a year ago based on reviews of the restaurant…read more It was pretty good. While picking up my pizza that time, I noticed that the other food options being served looked pretty good. Fast forward to today where I'm back in town and decided to revisit the restaurant but eat in. The problems started right as we walked in. When we arrived we were told that it would be a 25 minute wait. Ok, no problem, it's Friday night. What we weren't told was that we could order and THEN it was a 25 minute wait for the food to be cooked. This was confusing because we aren't locals and I had to ask for clarification. When ordering as a party of three, two wanted a beer. We were told that the orders had to be separated to sell two individual beers. Weird, but ok. I ordered a Vesuvius calzone for me, Mac and cheese with bacon for my husband and the blueberry lemon desert to take home plus one beer. Our friend ordered wings, the Vesuvius and a beer. The rest is well, just plain bad restaurant practice. This was the next 40+ minutes (after our 30 minute wait): 1-Vesuvius out for our friend. Lukewarm at best. 2-Almost 10 minutes later- barely warm Mac and cheese with pieces of cold bacon on top. The bacon was basically the thin precooked kind they sell at Costco. 3- About 10 minutes later. Lukewarm wings with barely any sauce. We share the mac and cheese for another 15 minutes while waiting for my calzone and finish it and still waited several minutes after. 4-Vesuvius #2 comes out and is not heated through- I stick my finger in the center and did not feel any significant warmth. There was only a single small meatball cut in half in the entire thing. The crust was soggy throughout from the sauce and likely from sitting and cooling behind the counter. My friend had the same issue with his. We were all hungry and collectively decided to just eat what we got because we knew it would be another hour for fresh food or they would probably just microwave what we had if we took each item back up as it came out lukewarm. If the food had been served hot it would have probably been good. Getting our food served all together would have been not only appropriate but would have made the meal a better experience instead of having to go up to the counter four times. Well make that 5 because I had to go ask for the dessert to be made - (while I saw at least four employees standing around in the kitchen area ‍ ) that dessert was the best part of the meal and the only reason for the 2nd star. Last note regarding the beer- I saw pitchers of beer being taken to patrons which confused me because I was told "we're not a bar" when we tried to order a beer each for 2 people. I did ask about this when leaving and was told that as long as there were more than one person with ID they could order a pitcher. A pitcher is double the size of 2 individual pints. Makes zero sense that one pitcher with the equivalent of at least 4 beers can be served for 2 on one ticket but 2 individual beers cannot. Worse is that the guy at the counter didn't even think to suggest ordering a pitcher as an option. The whole counter order /pick up yourself is definitely lacking for a sit down meal at a restaurant that's not fast food. Beer is the only thing served to the table by staff. It's compounded by the fact that you have to go up multiple times to get each item and listen as other food is going out to other orders in between. Not getting hot food is terrible considering it appears that the food is served as soon as it's ready. I literally thought the restaurant must have had issues with someone getting burned by food and they were intentionally not heating food up. I also don't think it is unreasonable to expect that 2 exact calzones ordered at the same time can't be prepared and served at the same time. Pros for the restaurant- it has a nice atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The portion size on the calzone was large and shareable.

Parked for free streetside nearby and walked over, got on the waitlist and was texted to return after just 15 mins. My salad was massive, with charred grilled chicken and a delicious buffalo sauce. The appetizers were amazing as well, you HAVE to try their fried pickles!! It was super hot outside so the beers were extra refreshing, I really loved their IPA but their stout fell flat for me. I can be picky! Their Porter also shone, delicious and unique! Service was friendly and super fast. I asked for some modifications on my salad and they did not mind a bit. Grabbed a pint glass on the way out. Their regular menu is great, but I also love the rotation, to add a little more variety. It was very busy, and we mentioned we were trying to make a show later, and they took care of us, and we made it on time.
