2017 Chevy Suburban 4X4 in black. For the "tough guy wannabe" look! (With the emphasis on "wannabe"!)
    Ebenezer's Anni L.

Locally owned, family-run dealership. I have been leaning towards the 2017 Cadillac Escalade but whenever I see one, I keep thinking about rappers, pro athletes, divas, and porn stars. I am more low-key and restrained. At a friend's suggestion, maybe the Escalade is too blingy for me but I should look at a Tahoe/Suburban Premier 4x4. The Tahoe is too short for my family and the kids's sport equipment and musical instruments. The Suburban is similar to the longer Escalade. The one big difference is that the Chevy's 5.3L V-8 is certainly more than adequate but is not as strong compared to the Escalade's powerful 6.2L V-8. I kept looking at the dash for the button that calls for more squirrels to report to the engine compartment to run faster on the treadmill for more power! The salesperson (sorry, don't have his card right now) was very professional and helpful. His product and competitive knowledge allowed him to answer all my questions. I like to do business locally; if I go with the Chevy Suburban, I'll buy here. I like the low key image of the Suburban but with the refined power of the Cadillac. Enjoy and I now realize that this dilemma requires more thought!

This was our first time purchasing a Chevy. We got a 2017 Chevy Malibu LT. I was so happy to have Jasmine Cofield help us through the entire process. Even getting the vehicle delivered to us being we are a little far away! They made the process easy, and gave us time to decide on what we wanted. I couldn't be more happy with my new gorgeous car. And even more happy with the deal we got. Very affordable. And much better than anyone else could do for us. Thanks u so much Jasmine!!!

This was my first time at this Chevrolet dealership. Even though they were fairly busy for 10:45am they got me right in. The service area, showroom, waiting room, and bathroom were all super clean. Coke product pop machines charging $0.85 (I assume they are cans) and free coffee. Cable TV in the waiting room playing CNN and a super comfy couch to sit back and relax at. A little special section for the kids with kid videos and basic toys. No WiFi though which was a bummer. The staff was beyond polite and my oil change was done in about 45 minutes which was the time they quoted me and the average for my truck. They even gave me the coupon rate for the oil change that was online that I didn't print out and was expired by a day. They also have an oil change punch card. After you acquire 4 oil changes you get the 5th one free!!! I will be coming back for sure.

Great experience purchasing my son's used car. I stopped in to take a look never expecting to purchase. Best decision ever!!!

Saline Automotive Services is located in downtown Saline, just west of the main intersection of Main Street (US-12) and Ann Arbor-Saline Road. Scott is a parts expert. He is great at explaining what's wrong and how to fix it. Since it's a smaller sized shop, don't expect to just show up out of the blue. It's best to call a day or two ahead so that the work can be scheduled. You can leave the car any time--even at night--because there is a drop off box. Inside the box, you'll find an envelope with a pen and a form to explain the symptoms. Put the key in the envelope along with your info and let it slide into the box, where it's safe. Because Saline Automotive shares a parking lot with a church (my church!) they ask that you pick up your car promptly on weekends, since the church might have an event that causes the parking lot to fill to capacity. Insider Tip: Usually, if there is going to be a big event, you'll see a portable sign for it on the front lawn of the church. But not always, so keep that in mind when figuring out when to pick up your car. Saline Automotive doesn't have a shuttle vehicle, but they offer you a loaner car, which might be even better. Scott's prices are awesome. When Goodyear quoted $515, Scott's guys fixed it for $299. I feel very confident that the guys will fix what needs fixing and keep our cars running fine.

And I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about them in My few experiences with them, so far. They are: 1) Welcoming and friendly, RESPECTFUL (incl. never once being patronizing or condescending with Me) - easy to converse with; patient with questions, gives direct and clear answers. Very family-like. Love it. 2) Accessible and reliable. I never have to chase them down to get ahold of them. And they are on top of their communications. 3) HONEST & FAIR. Upfront and thorough. Honors their quotes. Stands behind their work. Readily owns mistakes (I know this, because once when I called about an issue - it was their idea to rule out some fault perhaps on their end...though that wasn't the case). Very transparent. Never tried to upsell anything to Me. No suspicious anything. 4) GOOD. So far, every repair they've made has been a good, effective, and durable job. I have a list of repairs I came to them, knowing I needed done; and they haven't made Me sorry yet. 5) REASONABLE. I know a little about cars, research My car symptoms, repair details, and compare prices. They have not only never overcharged Me for anything - I have found them to be outright reasonable in their prices. 6) Close. I don't even have to go very far for repairs. I'm not one to often do reviews for businesses online; only when compelled by either a particularly excellent or paricularly terrible experience (something memorable - notable). But when I do...in keeping it 100 - I would also come back for an edit, if given cause (I don't anticipate that here, obviously). In short - 10/10, would DEFINITELY recommend. This business is relatively young here, but Majed (the owner) knows his craft AND has a great work ethic. I have only felt more comfortable, each time I come in. A really good sign. I am so glad I found MK Auto - and too impressed not to let others know, who might also be looking for a mechanic they can trust.

The Carfax report they provided also stated that the car was accident-free. Additionally, they included a Blue Ford Certified warranty with the car for 3 months or 4,000 miles. They sold the car to me at the price of a "clean" car. However, before the warranty expired, I discovered the car had an oil leakage. I took it to several mechanics, and they informed me that the car had been in an accident. The previous owner had repaired the exterior for appearance but left significant internal damage unrepaired. These damages are estimated to cost me around $4,000 to fix. I informed the dealership, and they told me to use the warranty. While the warranty covered the oil leakage, it did not cover the accident-related damages. I asked to return the car, but they refused, saying, "It's your car now, and it's not our responsibility." They only offered to repurchase the car at a lower price based on its current condition, even though they had sold it to me at the price of a clean car. They refused to take any responsibility or contribute to the repair costs. They even suggested I contact Carfax for compensation, despite the fact that they are responsible for checking the car thoroughly before selling it. They also claimed to have changed the brakes, but only the front brakes were replaced, not the rear ones. Now, I'm stuck paying a significant amount of money to repair the car, all because I trusted them. I assumed buying a car from a dealership would be safer than buying from a private seller on Facebook Marketplace, but I was wrong. DO NOT trust them. They don't care about customer satisfaction--they only care about making a profit. If you're considering buying a car from them, make sure to have it inspected by a professional mechanic first.

The…read morevery first time I needed to use it -- for a simple flat tire caused by a nail -- I called the service department to have it repaired under the policy. This should have been the easiest possible use of the coverage. Instead, I was told (with a less-than-pleasant attitude) that because it was the weekend, I would have to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement from Ally myself. My only other option? Drop the vehicle off and they could "try" to get approval on Monday and "let me know what they say." We're talking about a basic tire patch here -- not a major repair. I even politely asked if they could just repair it and handle the paperwork with Ally on Monday so I could be back on the road quickly. That request was declined. So instead, I drove to Discount Tire. They fixed my flat at no charge -- immediately. While I was there, I ordered $700 worth of new tires. That business would have gone to Saline Chevrolet if they had been willing to simply take care of a customer on a Saturday morning. Poor flexibility, poor customer service, and a disappointing first experience using a product they sold me. It was better when it was Crispin. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Saline Chevrolet's service department based on this experience.

I purchased this vehicle here as a Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet, expecting that designation to mean I was purchasing a thoroughly inspected, reliable vehicle and would have the support of the dealership if something went wrong. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. After purchasing the Malibu, I dealt with repeated problems that resulted in approximately five separate repair orders and roughly 40 days with the vehicle out of service. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into months of frustration, inconvenience, and repeated trips back for repairs. What made the situation significantly worse was the way I was treated while trying to get these problems addressed. I experienced rude and dismissive interactions with service staff, and when I tried escalating my concerns, I repeatedly felt like I could not get the help, communication, or responses I needed from management. When someone has recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and is already experiencing repeated problems, they should not have to fight just to get answers or feel like they're an inconvenience for asking for help. I also discovered an issue with how the purchase was structured. Despite my understanding that I was supposed to be the primary buyer and the other person was supposed to be my co-signer, I was listed as the co-buyer/co-signer instead. That was extremely frustrating to discover after the purchase and added another concern to an already terrible experience. Eventually, the problems with the vehicle became serious enough that I had to take the matter beyond the dealership and pursue a resolution directly with General Motors. After months of dealing with this situation, the matter has finally been resolved. One of my biggest disappointments is that this vehicle was sold as Certified Pre-Owned. I specifically chose CPO because I believed I was paying for additional peace of mind, a properly inspected vehicle, and support if problems arose. After this experience, I personally would not put much confidence in that designation again. Vehicles can have problems--that alone isn't why I'm leaving a one-star review. It's the combination of the repeated issues, the amount of time the vehicle spent out of service, the way I was treated by service staff, the lack of helpful communication from management, and the issue with how I was listed on the purchase. I'm glad this situation is finally behind me, but buying a vehicle should never turn into months of repairs, poor communication, escalation, and having to involve the manufacturer just to reach a resolution. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership, nor would I recommend it to others.
