From the moment I noticed the address, I could feel the energy from the outside. As I entered the salon, I was greeted professionally, and asked if I could be assisted. I stated that I had an appointment, and she said you must be Cathy. I nodded yes and she said Wesley will be right with you. As I took a seat, I was sitting no longer than 2 minutes before Wesley came over to introduce himself to me and that's where the real fun began! As I took my seat, Wesley and I had the best conversation. The needed a great cut with precision and Wesley was my guy for sure! He gave me exactly what I asked for, followed by a shampoo/conditioner with a nice scalp massage! It was simply amazing!!! Last Wednesday, I walked in for my first haircut in 3 months. I talked too much (I do that when I'm nervous) and she politely listened to it all and explained how she works. Which is completely different from the way the last person cut my hair for the last 18 years. I have long hair and other stylists I have gone to would only give me layers at the bottom, but not Leah! She took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and even offered advice and options for different facial framing and bangs that were suited to my face and type of hair. As soon as we were done and I saw what she did, I had to ask her to send me pictures so that I could show my mom who has been sick of hearing me cry and complain after every haircut, but not this one! No one answered and there is no ability to leave a message, but they did say I could contact the stylist on Union Hill's website. I can't find a website for them, but it looks like Google hosts a page for them. I went to this page, found my stylist, who does not accept messages OR new clients. I don't understand why I was linked with her on Yelp. I hate my long hair. This is incredibly frustrating. I can't contact ANY salons--it's like they are playing games with me, trying to make me insane.

She loved the haircut, but unfortunately the color she chose looked so similar to her normal hair color, that she felt pretty disappointed that the highlights didn't look like the photos we had shown Kaya pre-appointment. I got in touch with her shortly after leaving, and she was so kind and understanding and scheduled a complimentary appointment to help get it to what she was hoping for. That time she nailed it and my daughter is thrilled with how the color turned out! We really appreciated Kaya's professionalism and care in making her first experience a success!

I booked a 90 minute full body integrative massage over the phone. The receptionist was so sweet and helpful. Sierra gave me the best massage I've ever had. (And I've had a lot) she really paid attention to my body and released tension I didn't even realize I had. She was so knowledgeable and checked on me frequently throughout the process to be sure the pressure level and temperature was to my liking.
