We enjoyed watching folks play games (pool, basketball, skee ball, and many many more all available here), and our beverages before moving on for the evening. The bartenders are used to high volume and take care of everyone at the bar quickly. It can get pretty busy in the later hours of the night, after concerts, and on weekends, but it is always homey feeling and a great way to start or end the night. He disrespected me in a way no customer should ever experience, threatened to "f** me up,"* and had me banned despite the fact that I never did anything to him. His hostility seems to stem from the fact that he doesn't like someone I happen to associate with--someone who also never disrespected him. What makes this even more concerning is that the owner appears to allow this type of behavior. I've seen this guard act out for years, and instead of correcting it, it feels like it's been encouraged. Many people I know have had negative experiences at this bar, and some have even lost their lives due to the environment created when drug activity is allowed inside. I've spent thousands of dollars here over the last 17 years, and never have I been disrespected the way I was by someone who is supposed to ensure customer safety. I considered speaking to the owner directly, but based on what I've witnessed, I truly believe she condones this behavior from her staff. There is ALSO a sign saying to order at the front counter on the same table but we didn't read that one once we saw the wait to be seated sign.
