Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

Neither of the dishes were overcooked, with the flounder was light and prepared perfectly. Prices were reasonable and worth every penny, especially with how generous the portions were. Title: A Disheartening Change at The Main Cup No stars. I've always believed in supporting local businesses, especially those that contribute positively to our small community here in Middletown, MD. The Main Cup was a gem that stood out for its quality and service, a place I could proudly recommend to anyone. It pains me to write this, but since the new ownership took over, the essence of The Main Cup has been diluted, quite literally. The new changes have been a stark departure from what made The Main Cup special. The heartiness and generosity that once defined their servings have been replaced by noticeably smaller portions that hardly justify their price. It seems everything, from the ingredients to the soul of the cooking, has been watered down. The vibrancy of flavors we came to love and expect now seems like a distant memory. The one aspect that remains commendable is the service. The staff, possibly one of the few remaining threads connecting the new Main Cup to its cherished past, continues to serve with a smile. However, good service alone can't mask the overall decline in quality and value. The announcement of new ownership came with assurances that nothing would change. Yet, here we are, witnessing a beloved local institution lose its essence. It's a classic case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" gone awry. It's with a heavy heart that I say I won't be returning to The Main Cup. It's a sad day for those of us who knew and loved what it once was. read more

The Main Cup is very deceiving from the outside. They offer a wide variety on the menu and Sunday Brunch is always good. The portions are very generous and the price is very moderate. I highly suggest the Strawberry Salmon Salad, it is just a winner. The Wedge Salad is a classic and served with fresh onion straws. The Cheeses fries are loaded and enough to serve 4! They just started serving Taco's, if you order the chicken ones, there is a lot of meat on them, very fresh tasting. Judge for yourself, this is a nice quaint place to eat. I absolutely love The Main Cup! At first glance it looks like a quaint little place, but once you go inside you it really is a full size establishment. There are multiple rooms which I really like because it makes the big restaurant not feel so overwhelming. The quality of the food is so good. The menu has a great diversity of dishes so there is always something new to try. And I could tell the staff works really hard to ensure customer satisfaction.
