My family and I tried the Sunday brunch at Urbana Lodge and enjoyed the food. It was flavorful and seasoned well. There were variety and selection of foods such as scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, sausage patties, bacon, yogurt, cookies, pastries from danishes, croissants, cereal, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and salad. Then there is a selection of Indian inspired dishes from basmati rice, paleek paneer, peri peri chicken, and a beef stew. The service is quick and friendly. Our server Haley was attentive. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. Adults are priced at $24.99 and children ages 7 and up were $17.99, children under 7 eat free. This was a great option since my 6 year old only wanted to eat cereal. Coffee, tea, milk, apple and orange juice are included in the price of the meal. Urbana Lodge even offers weekly specials during weekdays, which we look forward to trying.

Second review on this restaurant. My second visit was great too. I had the butter chicken and it was really great. My son had the burger and fries and loved it. And we got the molten lava desert - yummy. The service is outstanding and friendly. And if you like sports, it's on but not loud at all. They listed a brunch on the weekends too.

Stopped by with some coworkers shortly after the place first opened and we were pleasantly surprised! I can't say much about the food because we didn't really eat, but the place was very busy and the manager came by to offer us 10% discount cards for being educators. Super cool!

We stopped here for opening week and they were wonderful, friendly...we were seated very quickly. It was a little way too lit up for our taste. I like more ambient lighting..but i can for the food and smoked old fashioned cocktail! Had a perfect burger and damn, the old fashioned was definitely a "wowza" cocktail. Perfection in a cocktail glass! Can't wait to go back for a follow-up!

Greeted and sat by the owner, who was super friendly and welcoming. The decor was amazing! So pretty, the word Lodge in the name feels accurate. Lots of TV's in the bar area for anyone wanting to watch sports. Plenty of seating, a variety of large, small and high top tables. From the host to the bussers, everyone seemed happy to be there. The food came out hot and PLENTIFUL! We had shrimp and brussel sprout appetizers. I had coffee, my friend had the cranberry mule. Presentation for all was on point. I had the fish and chips, house battered. All delicious. My friend had an enormous chicken pot pie, had to take half home. Really great value for the price. I'd say it was a little pricey for dinner but fairly priced for the portions.

"Anna was an amazing bartender with great hospitality. She recommended a fantastic crab dip that was delicious. The place was very clean and welcoming. If you haven't been yet, you definitely should go!"

We stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch and everything was great. From the host who seated us, to the gracious server, and delicious food. I had the fish and chips and my friend had ribs. Both meals were excellent. The decor is fantastic too! So glad we stopped in.

Fun and funky decor. A lot of seating options. Excellent restroom! Our server was excellent! It was Tuesday and they had half off bottles of wine and they have Happy Hour deals. They bring homemade chips to the table to start off; very good but the sauce with them is just so-so. For apps we ordered the Brussels sprouts and the shrimp dish. The shrimp were lightly fried and very saucy...very yummy! The Brussels sprouts had a lovely SW style avocado drizzle which was excellent but half of the sprouts were nearly raw and tough to chew. My pal ordered the chicken pot pie... our server told us the pastry is made in house...It was very good! The side of mashed potatoes were perfect. I ordered the jambalaya and it was good but not great. Needs more Cajun seasoning to bring it up to great. I did like that it was shrimp, sausage and chicken in a creamy sauce with a mound of rice in the middle. Different but a great idea. The desserts look great and we shared the Apple chimi--it was amazing and very shareable size! The place has a great bar area. It definitely could be a great after work hang out or family dinner option. A couple of tables celebrated birthdays--and the place seemed to make it extra special for them.

So, this might be our fault but we ordered the rib-eye steak at the lodge. Well, don't . But let me start from the beginning. Short wait for a table was a wonderful surprise but the Hostess sort of forgot where she sat my family as I went to the restroom while we waited but to her defense the place is huge and echos all the noise. Once we found our table, our server was fantastic given the Friday night rush later into the evening (8pm). Offered homemade chips with a yogurt sauce (not for me). I ordered the spiked lemonade with passionfruit and loved it. Kids chocolate milks were fresh and big! Now to the food: lately, I have been trying out steaks in different local places so... thought The Lodge. They have bear and elk decor... maybe ? Well, no. Unevenly cooked, flavor seems like the Monterrey steak seasoning (not my favorite) but moving on to the good parts!! The veggies were fresh and my favorite. I would recommend skipping the mashed potatoes and hubby did not like their ranch salad dressing. One kid didn't even touch their chicken tenders (something with the batter?) but the other kid devoured their Mac and Cheese (homemade and cheesy). No dessert ordered this time but I hear the bread pudding was the servers favorite? Final note: I will come back again . I'll try the fish and chips next time?

We came here to celebrate a personal milestone and we did it at the last moment. Luckily, there was a table for it. We did not know what to expect, but some menu items had a nice twist to the dish. However, one dish was by far the best: the deviled eggs. The sauce and the prep was just amazing. It is not a lot of food and it is $20, but we both thought it was worth it to come back to eat it again. The other dishes we ordered were good, but the most memorable was the deviled eggs. I liked how they had a leaderboard for frequent customers though. That was cool to just stare at. The location has parking on the rocks and it was full by 6 pm on a Thursday. There is outside seating and limited inside seating. The bar area looked fairly busy because it was happy hour time. Its an old timey restaurant with a more mature setting that made us think of places like eating on Kent Island or Annapolis or St. Michaels. It is a hidden gem here - especially where it was located. We did notice that there was a dominant demographic dining here. We felt a bit out of place, but don't care, the deviled eggs were too good.

While the garlic sauce was generous and delicious, the quality of the mussels themselves was disappointing. They were all open, but they had that "off" taste associated with older seafood. * The Main: Things turned around completely with the pork tenderloin. It was cooked perfectly and paired with a very flavorful sauce. Highly recommended! * The Dessert: Finished with the coconut cake. It was incredibly moist--perhaps a touch too sweet for my personal preference, but tasty enough that I'd definitely order it again. Overall, a great find with just a minor hiccup on the seafood. These are the biggest crabs I've seen anywhere at a price this reasonable. That's the whole equation right there. Which brings me to the drive. I know it sounds backwards to head inland for crabs, and yes, when you've got friends visiting and you point the car away from the water, it takes some explaining. But compare it to a place like Bethesda Crab House, where you're paying for the real estate as much as the crabs. I would rather drive forty five minutes into the country and eat better crabs for less. Those of us in 20854 make this trip constantly, and this place gets talked about in country club circles all the time for exactly that reason: outstanding crabs, unbeatable deal. It's in the same category of open secret as the lobster specials at H Mart at $12.99 a pound, sometimes down to $9.99. Everybody in the know knows. The snow crab is the other reason. It picks clean, juicy, and not too salty. It comes apart fast. No wrangling with rubbery, bendy legs. And you can get it in the all you can eat too. The place feels like a biker bar. Nothing fancy about it, but that's exactly the room you want to be in when you're eating crabs and drinking beer. It also beats Mays, the other spot people mention around there. I've eaten at both. Mays has tiny little crabs. Avery's has some big ones. Not close. And if you're bringing people who don't do seafood, the rest of the menu holds up. The ribs and everything alongside them are outstanding. I've come here with folks who were just along for the ride and watched them go to town. I tried it myself and it was legitimately that good. Last thing: Wednesdays, the all you can eat blue crabs go on sale. Plan around it if you're price conscious.

Not great, not terrible -- average. For me, sitting at the bar is better than at a table: better service and conversation with others. Same food, average seafood with typical sides. If the food was a notch better: I'd come more than once a year. I find Mays, Liberty Seafood and Avery's roughly the same, with Mays having the edge over the others (quieter too). For just crabs: order takeaway from Westpointe. For bulking up on food: Avery's. I actually enjoy eating at Avery's -- but it could be so much better if they improved the sides and service. Still, I do come once a year -- contrasted to: I visit several other restaurants at least twice a month ...and get better quality seafood dishes (at a marginally higher price). Just saying...
