This is the "new" restaurant that took over the Buffalo Wild Wings And I've been meaning to try it for a while now, but only just now been able to get a chance to do it. Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! We stopped in for lunch today. Decor and menu are same as Clarks Lodge but brighter and more well lit. The service was wonderful. They were busy for lunch but not packed. Food was solid. Southwest eggrolls, Margarita flatbread, Cobb salad with Salmon, and Lodge Salad were all delicious. The Chipotle chicken panini was ok but it was more of personal preference. Great experience. My family and I tried the Sunday brunch at Urbana Lodge and enjoyed the food. It was flavorful and seasoned well. There were variety and selection of foods such as scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, sausage patties, bacon, yogurt, cookies, pastries from danishes, croissants, cereal, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and salad. Then there is a selection of Indian inspired dishes from basmati rice, paleek paneer, peri peri chicken, and a beef stew. The service is quick and friendly. Our server Haley was attentive. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. Adults are priced at $24.99 and children ages 7 and up were $17.99, children under 7 eat free. This was a great option since my 6 year old only wanted to eat cereal. Coffee, tea, milk, apple and orange juice are included in the price of the meal. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday (Aug 16). We were quickly seated but while I was in the restroom the waiter only told my wife about the lunch buffet (no mention of a full menu to peruse). We went to the buffet area to pick out food. The buffet itself was a lunch buffet combined with a breakfast buffet. It was was rather lacking in variety of choices; if the focus was on either lunch or breakfast type foods the result might have been better. The food was mediocre at best with the exception of the omelets (mine was a bit on the greasy side, although my wife's was done just right). The pancakes had good flavor but were very tough. The French toast was also on the tough side. The steak pieces were like chewing bubble gum (I did not finish what few pieces I did take). The chicken parm was OK but had a distinct fish flavor (There was no marinara sauce or cheese on the chicken parm; just a breaded and deep fried meat). The yogurt parfait was in a very small container with minimal yogurt and lots of granola. No spoons to eat it with. When asked for spoons we were given very large table spoons. The coffee was good though. Overall the service staff were very friendly and responsive (We did finally receive a full menu by the way,) But the food was not that great. Second review on this restaurant. My second visit was great too. I had the butter chicken and it was really great. My son had the burger and fries and loved it. Greeted and sat by the owner, who was super friendly and welcoming. The decor was amazing! So pretty, the word Lodge in the name feels accurate. Lots of TV's in the bar area for anyone wanting to watch sports. Plenty of seating, a variety of large, small and high top tables. From the host to the bussers, everyone seemed happy to be there. The food came out hot and PLENTIFUL! We had shrimp and brussel sprout appetizers. I had coffee, my friend had the cranberry mule. Presentation for all was on point. I had the fish and chips, house battered. All delicious. My friend had an enormous chicken pot pie, had to take half home. Really great value for the price. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I have given this place 3 tries because I'm very understanding when it comes to busy days or maybe someone is having a bad day but come on 3 TIMES IN A ROW YOU MESS UP MY ORDER?? Not even just me, other family and friends agree that this location messes up orders ALL THE TIME! I called and manager doesn't even care enough to stop letting it happen! They also have mostly young adults working there and no hate to them but they are lacking training and customer service. They don't have that sense of urgency to guests that walk in for pick up orders or need to be seated. Then when you ask them about the food items they are completely clueless. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO DO BETTER!! No matter if your order is online or dine in they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS mess up your order! Why ask for any notes or customizations on your orders IF YOU GUYS DONT READ THEM AT ALL!!! Don't matter if it's a busy or slow day! I give up on this restaurant. If you're looking for a good burger with fries that don't get hard and dry up after ordering then your best bet would be any other burger place seriously! The restaurant may look nice but the food is disappointing. Only good thing they have is the lava cake dessert that's it! Not worth the price either! One word to describe our experience: surprising. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and the whole experience was fantastic was fantastic from start to finish. The ambiance gives the feel of a lodge to include wood paneling and hanging florals. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. I had the butter paneer which was excellent. Light fluffy basmati rice, large chunks of paneer, and a buttery sauce with just enough spice. My husband had the chicken wrap lunch special which was freshly prepared and the fries perfectly crispy. And the Caesar salads, perfect balance of fresh cheese and the best lettuce I have seen on a salad outside of higher end restaurants. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

After living in this area for two years we've missed seeing and stopping at the Urbana Lodge. Wow. First the appetizers we got were very good. The Ginger Glazer and AHi Tuna were nice, but i have had better. The lamb meatballs were out of this world! THe crab dip was also to die for! This was my first time to the lodge. Things that went well Ambiance was good. My son enjoyed all of the animals around the entrance. My husband loves rock n roll so he really liked the music. It was warm and cozy from the cold rain outside. My burger was cooked a proper medium. The fries were fresh. My son's Mac n cheese was hot and homemade. Our waiter offered drinks to go. He also thought ahead and brought lemonade and water out. Wonderful surprise Things that didn't go well The waiter was covering way too many tables including the bar area. Which inevitably caused lack luster service. He was great when he stopped by. I had to stare him down to get him. My husband asked for no onions but he got them anyway. Our appetizer came out moments before our food. The ticket for an appetizer,two lunches, and Mac n cheese for my son with 20% tip was 80 bucks. Pretty steep. For $30, their Mother's Day Buffet Brunch was very disappointing They had the regular breakfast stuff, like fruits, pancakes, french toast, bacon, bagels and lox, scrambled eggs They had single shrimp in a pastry...I questioned myself...who wants to eat dough with seafood...every one i saw people taking these they just took the shrimp and left the pastry behind. The rest of the food was greasy, and over cooked. The three basic meats were pork chops covered in a very greasy brown sauce, kabobs where the meat was hard and overcooked, and a very low quality/greasy roast. No prime rib. The deserts (chocolate chips cookies and brownies were hard and obviously store bought) For me, about the only thing that was worth the price of admission were the lox, bacon, and eggs... The others in my party took one look at the buffet and decided to order from the menu... I should have also... Their crab cake was enormous. They bring homemade chips to the table to start off; very good but the sauce with them is just so-so. For apps we ordered the Brussels sprouts and the shrimp dish. The shrimp were lightly fried and very saucy...very yummy! The Brussels sprouts had a lovely SW style avocado drizzle which was excellent but half of the sprouts were nearly raw and tough to chew. My pal ordered the chicken pot pie... our server told us the pastry is made in house...It was very good! The side of mashed potatoes were perfect. I ordered the jambalaya and it was good but not great. Needs more Cajun seasoning to bring it up to great. I did like that it was shrimp, sausage and chicken in a creamy sauce with a mound of rice in the middle. Different but a great idea. The desserts look great and we shared the Apple chimi--it was amazing and very shareable size! The place has a great bar area. So, this might be our fault but we ordered the rib-eye steak at the lodge. Well, don't . But let me start from the beginning. Short wait for a table was a wonderful surprise but the Hostess sort of forgot where she sat my family as I went to the restroom while we waited but to her defense the place is huge and echos all the noise. Once we found our table, our server was fantastic given the Friday night rush later into the evening (8pm). Offered homemade chips with a yogurt sauce (not for me). I ordered the spiked lemonade with passionfruit and loved it. Kids chocolate milks were fresh and big! Now to the food: lately, I have been trying out steaks in different local places so... thought The Lodge. They have bear and elk decor... maybe ? Well, no. Unevenly cooked, flavor seems like the Monterrey steak seasoning (not my favorite) but moving on to the good parts!! The veggies were fresh and my favorite. I would recommend skipping the mashed potatoes and hubby did not like their ranch salad dressing. One kid didn't even touch their chicken tenders (something with the batter?) but the other kid devoured their Mac and Cheese (homemade and cheesy). This was my first time at the Urbana Lodge. I got there shortly before they closed (yes I know) and they still served me. I arrived in town late and was struggling to find something good. The Urbana Lodge did not disappoint. The service was good and the food was excellent. They also didn't rush me out which I appreciated. Went for the first time with friends. We really like the warm atmosphere and the restaurant is aptly named with it stacked stone walls and taxidermist laden decor. The pot pie is generous and was served piping hot, perfect for a cold winter night. The ribs were delicious and tender. The beer menu is pretty basic, for example most of the IPA selection is low to mid rated offerings. It's a solid 4 stars and if they up their beer offerings maybe next visit a 5. ;-). read more

Not a bad experience. The restaurant is actually nice and it was packed. I believe they just opened not long ago. The waitresses were very confused with the orders, but were otherwise very nice. I ordered a full rack of ribs and they weren't very good at all. In fact, I couldn't finish because they were too dry. I looked at other tables and realized that I may have done better with the fajitas. My girlfriend seemed to enjoy her chicken salad. She ordered a brownie dessert that wasn't bad. I've been here three times now and can give an honest review. First time I ordered the Lodge Ribeye. It came out tough and had no flavor or seasoning. I also ordered a lemonade. Due to the delays in getting us our food, the waiter kept offering us more French fries. However when I asked for a refill on my lemonade the waiter told me it would be an additional charge. I told him I didn't want more fries, just a refill. I didn't get the refill because the lemonade was basically like water anyways. Thumbs down for me. The second visit I ordered the butter chicken flat bread. Everyone had commented how good it was and it was their most popular dish. The flatbread came out and it looked like they opened a frozen bag of cubed chicken and dumped it on the flatbread. I didn't really like the taste or the flavor of flatbread and the pile of cubed chicken on the flatbread threw me off. The butter chicken might be an acquired liking item. Thumbs down for me. My third visit was more recent. I ordered a cheeseburger and as a side I ordered the macaroni and cheese. The burger was actually pretty good however the Mac and cheese was not right. Normally a good Mack and cheese is one to one macaroni to cheese. This was five to one ratio of cheese to macaroni. It was like cheese soup with some macaroni mixed in. The taste was alright however I couldn't get over the cheese soup with macaroni. I only ate half. I wanted to love this place since it's only a mile away from me however it's just not my cup of tea. If I go back I'll stick to the cheeseburger and fries and Keep it simple. This being said, the burger, Mac and cheese, two beers, and a tip, came up to $43. Unfortunately this not a budget friendly place for the quality of food you get. No value which is why I rated this place two stars. read more

Well done remodel with wood and stone like a mountain lodge. You can sit at a ski lift table! Nice bar and the entrance is done to prevent the weather from coming in! The service is attentive and knowledgeable . Our server Jason was on top of all his tables! The Chicken Pot Pie is delicious with plenty of white meat cut in small chunks as are the veggies all in a tasty sauce. The crust is perfectly baked to golden brown, flakey and the perfect topping. The French Onion soup is hearty with small cut onion and a slice of bread all topped with melted cheese! Very good. The Chicken PotPie was delicious , hot and full of white meat chicken cut in small cubes, the sauce was rich and complimented the small cut carrots, celery, onion and peas. The crust was done perfect - golden brown and flakey. French Onion soup was rich filled with tender onion, bread slice and lots of cheese. The Stuffed Mushroom Caps were a treat! Mixed vegetables cut petite, pine nuts and melted cheese. Drizzled with a balsamic reduction, these were a real treat. The bread pudding had a bourbon sauce served warm with whipped cream. We attended the soft opening for the Urbana Lodge today and cannot say enough great things about our experience! Champagne toasts and free hats on top of the absolutely amazing food. We had crab dip, Brussels sprouts, wings, French onion soup, pot pie, butter chicken flat bread, burger, lamb meatballs, and 2 desserts--cheesecake and bread pudding. Brittany our server was top notch and everyone in the entire place was incredibly attentive. First off the service was great. My husband and I sat at the bar, hoping to grab a quick bite. We ordered extra crispy hot wings and the fish and chips from the lunch special- which came with a beef stew. The stew was slightly sweet which was strange, but then the wings came out soggy with a spice neither of us could place. It was like they washed off asian style wings and then put hot sauce on them. The fish and chips was pretty lack luster as well with nothing crazy to write home about. read more
